Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Jeff Jarrett has been talking to WGN, Spike, Fox Sports 2 and CMT about a possible television deal for Global Force Wrestling.
There is no deal between GFW and Jim Ross, but the two sides are in negotiations. Jarrett is hoping to get more financial backing as well.
Both TNA and ROH talents are not allowed to work TV for GFW. ROH is allowing their roster members to work house shows for GFW. TNA talents are still waiting word if they will be allowed to work GFW house shows. Despite this, Tyrus has accepted a spot on GFW’s roster.
Jeff and Karen Jarrett hosted the Global Force Wrestling press conference today at the Orleans Hotel in Las Vegas. Former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen was announced as the Expert Analyst or commentator for GFW.
Sonnen announced the first 4 wrestlers for GFW who will debut at the first GFW tapings on July 24th:

Jeff Jarrett’s Global Force Wrestling will be having a press conference Wednesday at 1pm EST at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas to reveal the GFW roster. Apparently there will be a special guest. GFW tweeted the following:
Jeff Jarrett and his Global Force Wrestling have been reaching out to a lot of wrestlers lately. Jarrett has Scott D’Amore and Sonjay Dutt working on the office side for GFW. Dutt has been calling wrestlers. Jarrett is reportedly going after ROH and TNA wrestlers that have contracts expiring soon and wrestlers who are good but not under contract. Roderick Strong is said to be one of the biggest names GFW has reached out to, but there are rumors that they have reached out to Team 3D, Chris Masters and Shelton Benjamin. Jarrett has reportedly offered some of the wrestlers the possibility of working 39 dates.
Jeff Jarrett has started the process of contacting talent to appear at the upcoming Global Force Wrestling TV tapings in Las Vegas beginning in July. Jarrett confirmed in a interview that he was in talks with at least three networks regarding a TV deal. According to Dave Meltzer from Wrestling Observer Newsletter, of the talent being contacted for the tapings, Jarrett is reportedly offering better money than Ring of Honor.

According to Wrestling Observer Newslettter, TNA and Mexico’s AAA promotion have been in talks about TNA possibly sending a three-man team to the Lucha Libre World Cup trios tournament in late May, which could re-open relation between the two companies.
TNA and AAA resuming their relationship could hurt Jeff Jarrett because he has been talking about using AAA talent in his Global Force Wrestling promotion.
There will be just two teams from AAA in their Lucha Libre trios tournament. One will be made up of Alberto El Patron, Rey Mysterio and Myzteziz (the original Sin Cara in WWE).

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Jeff Jarrett has reportedly been unable to secure a paid TV deal for Global Force Wrestling to air a weekly show.
TV industry sources report that Jarrett proposed a concept to at least one network, said to be a channel without full national clearance and probably other networks. Jarrett also was unable to secure a deal for this concept. Jarrett’s idea is to do a test-run live special that would feature talents from the indies, New Japan Pro-Wrestling and AAA under the GFW banner.
It was noted earlier that PWInsider reported that Jarrett was expected to announce GFW TV tapings for Las Vegas soon.

According to PWInsider Jeff Jarrett is reportedly preparing to make Global Force Wrestling announcements next month during WrestleMania week, that’s the same time he made GFW announcement last year. Word is that the announcement will have to do with GFW talents and live events.
PWInsider also reports that there has been discussions of doing another live pay-per-view with New Japan Pro-Wrestling this spring and bringing a AAA live pay-per-view to the United States.
