Jeff Hardy Scheduled For Court After WrestleMania 36

WWE SmackDown Superstar Jeff Hardy is scheduled to return to court on Monday, April 6, according to North Carolina court records and PWInsider. This is the day after WWE’s WrestleMania 36.

Hardy is scheduled to be in a Moore County, NC court room that day to face charges from his arrest back in October. As we’ve noted, Hardy was pulled over and charged with DWI that night, and indicated that he had been in a fight with his wife. Jeff’s first court date for this arrest was on Thursday, November 7, but it has been continued once again, until April.

Hardy has been arrested twice since being put on the shelf for WWE following knee surgery back in May. You can read details on Jeff’s October 3 arrest at this link and you can read details on his July arrest at this link.

There’s no word yet on when Jeff will be medically cleared to compete, but it was reported last year that he would be out of in-ring action for 6-9 months following the knee surgery. It was recently reported at this link that WWE was pushing Hardy to take care of his personal issues before he was brought back, and it was noted that he has been working hard to do just that.

Reby Hardy & Jeff Hardy’s Wife Trade Shots On Social Media Over Jeff’s DWI Arrest, Matt Hardy Comments About Priorities And Staying Sober

Jeff Hardy was arrested on October 3 in Moore County, North Carolina, and was charged with Driving While Impaired. A police report stated Hardy had a bloody nose during the traffic stop, and he told officers that it was from an earlier fight with his wife, Beth Hardy.

The police report didn’t give any further details on the possible domestic violence incident, but the officer did question Hardy about drinking alcohol. Hardy admitted to taking two shots of vodka earlier in the night, and admitted to being impaired. Hardy “bombed” the field sobriety test and was uncooperative when asked for a blood sample or Breathalyzer test.

Police told TMZ that they were not investigating the possible domestic incident between Jeff and his wife, but they said they would if Jeff filed a complaint. Jeff is scheduled to be in court for the charges on Thursday, November 7.

Shortly after, Matt Hardy commented on his brother’s arrest on Twitter.

“Since so many have asked me about my brother,” Matt wrote. “I love my brother & want him to be happy & healthy. I’ve expressed that to him as much as I can. Jeff has to make his decisions about his life. I have to focus on my 2 boys & soon to arrive son. I can only control MY actions.”

Saturday night on Twitter, Beth commented on the situation for the first time.

“Kept my mouth shut for too long,” Beth wrote. “Don’t take ANY info seriously from ‘family’ when it comes to me or Jeff. ‘Family’ quotes are BS. Family should have contacted us first before they made a statement to Twitter. Looks like they’re more worried about their online presence than Jeff. … Jeff & I are handling our business. Hence no post from either of us about what happened. Going forward, if you don’t hear it from us, disregard it. We don’t need any ‘well wishes’ from ‘family.'”

Matt Hardy’s wife, Reby Hardy, found out about the tweets and wrote the following back to Beth:

“No matter how much you dislike him, MATT IS STILL HIS BROTHER, here LONG before your ass & is family, not ‘family,’ PERIOD,” Reby wrote. “Any statements from Matt about Jeff don’t need YOUR approval; it ain’t about YOU. I know it kills you to have anyone acknowledge that the facade of a perfect life you try to maintain is a f—ing joke, but not everyone thinks the sun shines out of your asses, Beth, and not everyone wants to be complicit in your ‘protecting’ & enabling of a man who is well on his way to killing himself or someone else.

“You’re an idiot if you really believe Jeff’s actions don’t affect Matt; they do & and he has every f–king right to speak his mind on HIS OWN BROTHER. Remember, he speaks from EXPERIENCE. Unlike you, we don’t run & hide from our issues & pretend nothing is or was ever wrong in this house. Matt was the absolute worst & I’ve seen how bad it can truly get. I know how this story ends if you don’t f—ing wake up already. Worry about THAT instead of what is said to ‘f—ing nobodies online,’ as you so eloquently describe their fans.

“It’s not ‘talking s—,’ it’s living in REALITY & holding people accountable when they need it. Maybe it’s time to put the wine emojis away, drop the Twitter stuntin’ & put that energy into keeping your man from driving f—ed up on the street I drive WITH MY CHILDREN before trying to come at a man for addressing his own blood/business partner. In short, & as always, MIND YOUR F—ING BUSINESS.”

Since then, Matt commented twice on Twitter, the first tweet responded to a fan who said it was a “miracle” Matt has been sober for as long as he has.

“It’s no miracle, it’s who I am now,” Matt replied. “I live right & have my priorities in order, primarily my health & family. It’s all about you actually addressing the real issues, disallowing denial & holding yourself accountable for your actions. I’m proud of who I am.”

The second was the word “priorities” with a photo of his family.

Jeff Hardy Had Bloody Nose From Domestic Incident During DWI Arrest, Was Uncooperative With Police

As noted, WWE SmackDown Superstar Jeff Hardy was arrested on the evening of Thursday, October 3 in Moore County, North Carolina, and charged with Driving While Impaired. Hardy was released from custody at around 11:30pm ET that night.

In an update, TMZ has revealed that the police report says Hardy had a bloody nose during the traffic stop, and he told officers that it was from an earlier fight with his wife Beth.

The police report also noted that Hardy was stopped by Carthage Police after receiving a tip about a careless & reckless driver at around 8:40pm ET on Thursday, October 3. Officers located the car and found Hardy parked in front of a liquor store. Hardy came out of the store and was carrying a case of beer. He got into the car and began driving while police followed closely behind him. They finally pulled him over after he was seen “weaving badly” in his lane.

The officer noticed what looked to be dried blood on Jeff’s nose during the stop, and asked him what happened. The report states, “The driver advised that him and his wife got into a fight.”

The police report does not give any further details on the possible domestic violence incident, but the officer did question Hardy about drinking alcohol. Hardy admitted to taking two shots of vodka earlier in the night, and admitted to being impaired. Hardy “bombed” the field sobriety test and was uncooperative when asked for a blood sample or Breathalyzer test.

The officer ended up getting a search warrant from a judge, to extract a blood sample from Hardy. Paramedics were called to draw the sample. Hardy was then arrested for Driving While Impaired and Driving on a Revoked License.

Police told TMZ that they are not investigating the possible domestic incident between Jeff and his wife, but they said they would if Jeff filed a complaint.

As noted, Jeff is scheduled to be in court for the charges on Thursday, November 7.

This DWI arrest comes after Hardy was arrested for public intoxication and impairment in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina back in July of this year. Jeff is currently out of action for WWE while he recovers from knee surgery that he underwent in May. It’s been reported that Jeff would be out of action for 6-9 months. He is still scheduled to appear at Ringside Fest in New York City on Sunday, November 3.

Jeff Hardy Arrested At Myrtle Beach, WWE Releases Statement

WWE Superstar Jeff Hardy was arrested in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for being intoxicated in public this weekend, according to TMZ.

Hardy was arrested and booked early Saturday morning for public intoxication and impairment. There’s no word yet on what led to the arrest, but Myrtle Beach is a notorious arrest trap for people visiting from out of town and partying too much.

Hardy was released earlier today on a bond that was less than $200.

Jeff is currently out of action for WWE, recovering from knee surgery that he underwent in May. It was reported that he would be out of action for 6-9 months.

WWE has released the statement below about Jeff Hardy’s arrest.

“Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions.”

In an update, the police report notes that Hardy was found passed out in a public stairwell and reeked of alcohol before he was arrested, according to TMZ.

Hardy admitted to police that he had been drinking vodka before he was found by police in the stairwell.

It was originally reported that Hardy was facing the misdemeanor charge of public intoxication. Hardy ended up paying a $153 ticket for that charge, and the case is now closed. He is not facing a conviction on his record.

Jeff Hardy Reveals How Long He Will Be Out Of Action Following Surgery

As noted, The Hardy Boys dropped the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Titles on last night’s episode due to Jeff Hardy’s right knee injury. Matt Hardy will likely be working as a singles competitor while his brother is out.

Below is post-show video of Jeff talking to Kayla Braxton about the injury. As we’ve noted, Hardy suffered the injury at a recent WWE live event, but the storyline is that Lars Sullivan put him out. Hardy revealed that he will be out of action for 6-9 months.

“You know, we had the greatest match with The Usos, we won the SmackDown Tag Team Titles, and then Lars attacked. My knee has been weak for a while, but he just put the finishing point on it, man. It was a massacre and this is my worst nightmare because I’m going to be out for 6-9 months,” Hardy said.

Hardy also confirmed that he will be undergoing surgery in the next few days. He said he’s going to have his whole right knee repaired, something he’s needed for a while.

“So, it’s a bummer, but at the same time I needed a new knee. There was a lot of wear and tear on it, so I’m pretty confident I’m going to come back better than I was, or have been for the last 4 years,” Hardy said.

Hardy told the WWE Universe that he will be back better than ever, and he will be able to put on a much better performance than he has as of late.

Jeff Hardy Confirms He Needs Surgery, Hardy Boyz Relinquish SmackDown Tag Titles

Last night on SmackDown Live, Jeff Hardy confirmed the rumors that he will need surgery and said he will be “out for a long time”. So The Hardy Boyz relinquished the SmackDown Tag Titles.

We’ve noted how Jeff suffered a right knee injury at the April 20 WWE live event in Madison, Wisconsin when The Hardys defeated The Usos. Last night’s SmackDown segment saw Jeff blame the injury on the recent TV attack by Lars Sullivan.

This prompted “The Freak” to make his entrance and attack Matt Hardy. Jeff then acted like he was going to fight through the injury, but R-Truth appeared from behind to aid The Hardy Boyz.

Unfortunately, it didn’t work out in Truth’s favor.
