Moose Re-Signs With Impact Wrestling

Announced earlier today, Moose has re-signed with Impact Wrestling. Making his debut with the promotion in 2016, Moose is a two-time champion of the now retired Impact Grand Championship.

It was also announced recently that Impact re-signed Sami Callihan, Fallah Bahh and Rosemary, plus Madison Rayne returned to the company.

Caleb Konley Announces Departure From Impact Wrestling

Amidst multiple re-signings and returns the past few weeks at Impact Wrestling, one wrestler announced their departure.

Caleb Konley tweeted on Friday saying he’s now a free agent.

“For 3 years I’ve had the opportunity to wrestle on national TV Work on 4 continents & be ZNAs resident orphan child,” he wrote. “I owe all of that to [Impact Wrestling]. I want to thank everyone who has supported me. I look forward to what ever comes next.”

Konley signed with the company in 2016 and at one point portrayed the Suicide character. He also was part of a heel alliance involving Trevor Lee and Andrew Everett.

As we previously reported, Sami Callihan, Fallah Bahh and Rosemary recently signed new deals and Madison Rayne will be returning to the company.

Former Knockouts Champion Madison Rayne Returning To IMPACT

Madison Rayne wasn’t a free agent for long after parting with ROH … as Impact has already announced she’s coming back.

IMPACT made the announcement via social media on Friday.

The “Killa Queen” last wrestled for Impact at Slammiversary XVI in July of 2018. She competed in WWE’s Mae Young Classic the following month, then signed with ROH in September.

In case you missed it, Madison parted ways with ROH this week as she was reportedly unhappy with the creative direction of her character.

Former Knockouts Champion Rosemary Re-Signs With Impact Wrestling

Impact Wrestling held a media call earlier today and announced former Impact Knockouts Champion, Rosemary, has re-signed with the company. On the call it was noted she will “be around for awhile.” She first debuted with the company in 2016.

Wrestling Inc. asked Rosemary if she would be reuniting with former Decay member, Crazzy Steve, since he appeared for the promotion back in January at the Nashville TV tapings. Rosemary said she was very interested in that happening and noted they’ve teamed on the indies.

Rosemary was out of action for eight months after sustaining a torn ACL, but made her return to TV at last month’s Impact Homecoming PPV where she saved Kiera Hogan from an attack by Allie and Su Yung. Rosemary is currently trying to save Allie from the “darkness.”

Sami Callihan and Fallah Bahh have also re-signed with Impact Wrestling.

Wrestling Inc. confirms that Sami Callihan has signed a new multi-year deal with IMPACT Wrestling. Wrestling Inc. also reports that more signings are expected this week including a former Impact Wrestling Champion.

Callihan made his Impact Wrestling debut on November 5, 2017, at Bound for Glory. He has since gone on to be named Impact Wrestling’s 2018 Wrestler of The Year. He also won the 2018 Impact Wrestling Moment of The Year award, for smashing Eddie Edwards in the face with his baseball bat.

Currently, Callihan leads oVe on Impact Wrestling TV and is attempting to bring Rich Swann into their ranks. His last Impact PPV match saw him picking up a victory over Swann’s friend, Willie Mack. For those who are interested, we are told that Callihan re-signing with Impact will not affect his ability to work with MLW.

Impact Wrestling Hall Of Famer Gail Kim Announces Return To In-Ring Competition

Impact Wrestling Hall of Famer and former WWE Superstar, Gail Kim, announced at last night’s Impact Wrestling tapings that she has resigned as a backstage producer and will be returning to the company as an in-ring competitor.

The announcement came after Tessa Blanchard came down to the ring and claimed that she would finally be getting justice on Gail Kim for both her unjust suspension and her Knockouts Title loss at Homecoming. Gail would come out to confront Blanchard and apologize for wronging her in the past, however, Blanchard started screaming how she wasn’t being specific enough. Gail delivered a more specific apology to Blanchard but was shortly thereafter encouraged to resign from her position as a backstage producer. Gail revealed that she did indeed resign from her role as Impact producer, but the stipulation was added that she would be returning to the company as an active wrestler. After yelling, “I’m coming back to kick your a–,” Gail pummeled Blanchard with shots and stood tall in the ring.

In a recent interview that Gail did Wrestling Inc’s WINCLY Podcast, Gail specifically mentioned how similarities between her and Blanchard have enticed her to step back in the ring for another match. Gail even went as far as to say that Blanchard is “going to be the best female wrestler in the world one day.”

“[Blanchard] came in [to Impact] and I kinda caught that itch and was thinking, ‘Wow, I would like to wrestle her,'” Kim said to Wrestling Inc.’s Nick Hausman. “I saw the same commonalities within us: we both want to be the best in the world and have the best matches…She’s the total package. She looks great. She’s great on the mic and she can go in the ring. I think she’s going to be the best female wrestler in the world one day.”

Who owes what? We can’t seem to find out what the situation really is between these two men. We know that Sami wants rich to come home to oVe. Will Rich join oVe? Will Rich follow Sami Callihan? Will Sami tell us more about their past to bring this story together so it all makes sense? There are so many questions that we hope to have answered on Friday at Uncaged.

The main event for Impact Wrestling’s United We Stand was announced on this Friday’s episode of Impact Wrestling. The main event will see Rob Van Dam & Sabu vs. The Impact World Tag Team Champions The Lucha Bros. (Rey Fenix & Pentagon Jr).

Impact has been teasing for some time about the main event including a former champion, which was revealed to be RVD. RVD won the Impact World Title back in 2010 after defeating AJ Styles.

Rob Van Dam and Sabu have had a long history together starting back in ECW, where the two won the ECW Tag Team Titles on two separate occasions. RVD and Sabu also wrestled as a tag team in both WWE and Impact Wrestling.

Earlier this week, Rey Fenix and Pentagon Jr. were at the AEW Double Or Nothing” Ticket Announcement Party. It was reported that The Lucha Bros. had agreed to non-exclusive deals with All Elite Wrestling days before the event.

United We Stand will air live on Impact’s Twitch channel on April 4 at the Rahway Rec Center in Rahway, New Jersey.
