According to WrestlingINC.com there’s a feeling backstage in TNA that the buzz the company has received in the past week is better than the buzz they’ve received in the past year and they are happy with that, regardless of what happens with Jeff Jarrett and Global Force Wrestling. Also there is a feeling among some in TNA that Jarrett wouldn’t be there and wouldn’t have won at Slammiversary if everything was right with the company.

Jeff Jarrett became TNA’s first-ever King of the Mountain Champion at last night’s TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view. Jarrett says he never imagined he would be back outside of the Impact Zone after winning a title. Jarrett says where they go next will be unexpected, it will be big, it will benefit Global Force Wrestling and it will make a big impact on TNA.
Jeff Jarrett’s return at last night’s TNA Impact Wrestling was kept a big secret. There was no mention of his return in the script or even a gap left in it. TNA’s script had no blanks gaps, so the segment that had been written in the script in that spot had to be edited out.
Jarrett is expected to be around TNA a lot more after this Sunday’s King of the Mountain Match at the Slammiversary pay-per-view. There’s a feeling within TNA that some sort of Global Force Wrestling invasion angle could be in the works, but that has not been confirmed, it’s just a feeling backstage last night.
Dave Meltzer speculated on Wrestling Observer Radio that Jeff Jarrett’s TNA return could include a Hall of Fame induction. AJ Styles had recently turned down TNA’s Hall of Fame offer.

Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WWE officials are reportedly trying to find out when the contracts of a few top TNA stars expire. They are interested in a few TNA stars but only for the NXT brand, at least for now.
It was noted before that WWE changed their mind and now are interested in AJ Styles. Nothing is expected to happen any time soon because Styles is under contract to New Japan Pro Wrestling until the end of the year. Styles said on Inside The Ropes radio show yesterday that it’s only a matter of time before he shows up in Global Force Wrestling. Style said right now his schedule is so full that’s it’s hard to find time to fit GFW in.
