Eva Marie Announces Return On WWE RAW

Eva Marie is back with WWE.

Last night’s WWE RAW featured a new vignette where Marie declared that “The Eva-lution” is coming soon.

“Do I have your attention?,” Marie asked in the vignette. “I’ve been thinking about where I’ve been and where I’m going. Do I have your attention now? Good. You know, on the road of life there are twists and turns, and I’ve always tried to be the one in control of my own life, and the independence that comes with it, but part of that is giving back. Now I have your attention. I want to be someone others look up to, I want to influence others to go after their own ambitions like I did. So, I’m back where my journey started. This is Eva-lution.”

Eva tweeted after the vignette and wrote, “Do I have your attention? @wwe #EvaLution #WWERAW”

It was reported back in the fall of 2020 that Eva’s WWE return was in the works. She had been rumored for RAW appearances a few times since then, but there had been no concrete updates until now.

Eva first joined WWE in 2013 for Total Divas and the Divas Search, but left the company in August 2017 to focus on other interests outside of the company. She has done some acting and reality TV work since then, and has also launched her own fashion brands, among other projects. She has stayed away from pro wrestling for the most part, but was recently working with WWE Performance Center recruit Parker Boudreaux.

Eva Marie Reportedly Returning To WWE

Eva Marie is reportedly returning to WWE soon.

There’s no official word on when Eva is set to return, but Cultaholic reports that the return may be imminent. It was noted that we could see the former WWE Divas Search competitor and Total Divas cast member return as soon as tonight’s RAW episode, featuring the end of the 2020 WWE Draft.

Wrestling Inc. noted back in September how Eva spoke with Reel Talker’s Jim Alexander and commented on her WWE experience, and how The McMahon Family took a chance on her. She said WWE will always be her #1.

“WWE is always my number one,” she said. “My family. They are everything. Vince, Hunter, Stephanie, they took a chance on me, as a nobody at all. They gave me opportunities to possibly become a superstar.”

Eva also said she has some unfinished business in WWE, during that interview.

“I am just so thankful to that company and feel I have some unfinished business (if you know what I’m saying). I have no problem and see myself coming back to WWE. Stirring it up a little bit,” she said of a potential return.

Eva first joined WWE in 2013 for Total Divas and the Divas Search, but left the company in August 2017 to focus on other interests outside of the company. She has done some acting and reality TV work since then, and has also launched her own fashion brands, among other projects. Eva also launched a podcast in 2018, The Natalie Eva Marie Show. She has stayed away from pro wrestling for the most part, but it was recently revealed at this link that she has a new pro wrestling show with NowThis coming out.

UPDATE:

PWInsider reports that Marie is currently in Orlando for this week’s WWE TV tapings at the Amway Center. She was seen on Sunday undergoing medical testing that was needed to enter the arena today.

Word is that the 36 year old Marie and WWE came to terms on a return deal during the week of September 20. There is still no word yet on if she will be returning to wrestle, or work as some sort of personality on TV.

Eva Marie Reportedly Done With WWE

WrestlingINC is reporting that Eva Marie is apparently done with WWE. Below is the Exclusive report from Raj Giri of wrestlinginc.com.

With Wrestlemania just days away, there has been some speculation about Eva Marie being a part of the SmackDown Women’s title match this Sunday. Eva has not appeared on television since being suspended for 30 days on August 17, 2016 for her first violation of the company’s Wellness Policy.

After asking around, a source at WWE informed me that the company will not be renewing Eva’s contract. Eva had been with the company since 2013 and was a featured cast member of Total Divas for the show’s six seasons. No announcement has been made by either side, but Eva is apparently done with the company.

Since the suspension, Eva has changed her hair color back to black and filmed two movies. She has also stopped mentioning wrestling on her social media accounts, instead posting messages related to her movies and fashion line. She has also removed references to WWE on her Twitter profile, although ‘WWE Superstar’ still appears on her Instagram account.

Eva was drafted to SmackDown as part of last year’s draft on July 19th. She worked an angle where she would fake injuries and suffer wardrobe malfunctions to avoid wrestling. Her name was last used on WWE television in a negative light during an angle where then-RAW General Manager Mick Foley was supposedly going to trade Sami Zayn for her. Sami was furious, telling Foley that he was worth “1,000 Eva Marie’s.”

Eva Marie Appearing In New Movie With Nicolas Cage

Source: WrestlingINC

Deadline reported on Thursday that WWE Superstar Eva Marie will co-star in a new thriller titled “Inconceivable” with Nicolas Cage and Faye Dunaway.

It’s worth noting that Deadline’s updated report does not mention Eva’s role but their original report referred to her as Natalie Eva Marie from Total Divas, and Entertainment Weekly is still reporting that she’s involved.

The movie will also co-star Nicky Whelan and will be directed by Jonathan Baker with Chloe King writing the script. It appears WWE Studios is not involved.

The movie follows Whelan, who stars as an abused mother named Katie, as she moves into a new neighborhood to start her live over with her young daughter. She befriends a married woman named Angela, presumably played by Eva, and her husband Brian, played by Cage. Angela begins to notice odd behavior from Katie that causes her to question whether Katie’s intentions are as innocent as she makes them out to be, of if something darker is lurking beneath the surface.

Filming begins in October. Eva is due back from her first WWE Wellness Policy suspension on September 18th.

Why Eva Marie Violated The WWE Wellness Policy

Source: WrestlingINC

TMZ reports that Eva Marie tested positive for Adderall, which caused her to violate the WWE Wellness Policy and receive a 30-day suspension.

Eva tells TMZ that she has a prescription for the drug, the same which caused Roman Reigns to violate the Policy earlier this summer. Eva says she’s appealing the suspension.

TMZ says their WWE source claims the medication was not properly approved by the company but Eva insists she has a legit prescription from her doctor

Eva Marie Releases Statement On Her Suspension

As reported yesterday Natalie Coyle (Eva Marie) was suspended for 30 days for her first violation of WWE’s wellness program. Due to the suspension being effective immediately she will not be competing in the 6 women’s tag match that was set for this Sunday’s SummerSlam

Eva’s husband Jonathan took to social media claiming that his wife’s suspension wasn’t justified and that more details would come out soon via an official statement from his wife.
Thanks to Pro wrestling sheet. We now have that official statement and it reads as follows.

I am disappointed that this suspension has occurred, yet understand and respect that WWE upholds their Wellness Policy to the letter and won’t compromise on its integrity. I violated policy by not turning in portions of required paperwork in the time frame WWE Medical deemed timely. I look forward to my return! Thank you for your support”

Eva Marie’s Husband (Jonathan Coyle) Says His wife’s Suspension Isn’t Justified

Via Prowrestling Sheet Jonathan Coyle says his wife’s 30 day suspension for her first violation of the company’s wellness program  was unjustified. He said quote

When the public finds out why my wife was unjustly suspended they will be absolutely outraged! Official statement and facts coming soon.”

We will be following this story up as soon as Eva releases her official statement, so be sure to follow Wrestling News blog on facecook and @WrestlingNewsWNB on Twitter

WWE Suspends Eva Marie

Via WWE.com –  WWE has suspended Natalie Coyle (Eva Marie) for 30 days effective immediately for her first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy

It would seem that the WWE has been hit with the Black Plague when it comes to suspensions. This marks the third in the last 24 hours. (DelRio and Paige are also on the list)

One has to wonder if they all tested positive for the same banned substance? Some fans even believe it could all be staged for an episode of Total Divas.   either way this is the kind of news we never like to hear.

Big Change To WWE Hall Of Fame Ceremony

For the first time in years, Jerry “The King” Lawler will not be hosting the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. According to PWInsider, hosting this year will be WWE Diva, Eva Marie

I don’t know the reasoning behind this, but I do know that I don’t like the change. I just don’t understand why WWE would replace Lawler, who I think is the perfect host for the event with someone unproven like Eva m Marie.
