Pro Wrestling Sheet has confirmed WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore is being investigated by police in Arizona for allegedly raping a woman last year inside a hotel room.

The woman — who didn’t want to be named — came forward with her story on Twitter and shared graphic details of the alleged assault that she says took place back in October.

WARNING GRAPHIC DETAILS FOLLOW:

She wrote, “OKAY..it’s been long enough & I have been so so scared to share this. I was raped in mid October by the WWE Enzo Amore (also known as Eric Arden) & Tyler Grosso & TOOPOOR let it happen as accomplices. I was in a mental hospital for 45 days after it. They ARE NOT good people.”

The women then shared further details, which can be read in full below:

The original question TOOPOOR asked me was if I would suck Enzo’s dick. I said possibly but if I wasn’t down she said we could all just hang out. Then they got me way fucked up & they left knowing what was about to happen. When Enzo the WWE guy stared coming on to me I was passed out on the couch. I said “I want to get to know you first before doing anything.” He replied, “Bitch I have 1million followers on instagram…you should be begging for this dick.” & then he restrained me & it happened. I never would be this dramatic about something like this but I want you all to know that I would’ve left if I could. I was in psychosis- I had no idea what was going on. I remember bits &pieces & I have constant flashbacks..My mental issues have been the worst ever & i suffer from major PTSD from it.

A rep for the Phoenix PD confirmed that a report was filed and the incident is still under investigation. However, we’re told the bulk of the investigation is complete and police are just waiting on lab results.

Sources say the alleged incident took place on October 19th in the early morning. According to Enzo’s Instagram, he was in Phoenix on October 18th and returned to L.A. the next night.

A rep for WWE says, “WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving sexual harassment or sexual assault. Until this matter is resolved, Eric Arndt (aka Enzo Amore) has been suspended.”

Backstage Update On Enzo Amore’s WWE Status After Getting Sick, How Bad Braun Strowman Was Last Week

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore missed Monday’s RAW title match with #1 contender Cedric Alexander due to a bad case of the flu. Enzo was also pulled from the Mixed Match Challenge, which begins on January 16th.

Enzo reportedly got sick while in Toronto over the weekend with WWE for the annual holiday live event tour. He had been wrestling Kalisto all week but did not wrestle in Toronto. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Enzo got sick while in Toronto but he did not want to go to the hospital there. He then flew to Miami for RAW on New Year’s Eve and ended up going to the hospital on New Year’s Day. He checked himself out of the hospital on Monday and went to the arena for RAW but officials didn’t want him there because they were worried that he might be contagious.

There was concern backstage after Braun Strowman had left the tour earlier in the week due to the flu but was back for RAW. The Observer notes that Braun was said to be violently ill. As Raj noted before, there were other wrestlers that were sick backstage on Monday and several were given an IV. It was not confirmed that they had the flu or another illness but many skipped going out on New Year’s Eve the night before because they were sick.

No word yet on when Enzo will be back in the ring but it could be this weekend as he has been medically cleared. No word yet on why he was pulled from the Mixed Match Challenge, which doesn’t begin for another 2 weeks. The match with Cedric is still expected to take place when Enzo returns.

Backstage WWE News: Heat On Baron Corbin and Enzo Amore – Bobby Roode Coming To SmackDown?

In the past week Baron Corbin cashed in and lost his Money In The Bank contract, and then lost a basic match to John Cena at SummerSlam, which opened the show. Fans have picked up on Corbin likely having backstage heat and chanted “You f–ked up” when he appeared during the NXT Takeover Kickoff show this past Saturday night.

Dave Meltzer noted on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that Corbin is definitely being punished, and the way he was booked in his match with Cena was indicative of his heat.

As noted, Meltzer reported over the weekend that WWE is very high on Bobby Roode, who is expected to join the main roster soon. Meltzer speculated that Roode may be brought to SmackDown and take Corbin’s spot.

As for Enzo Amore’s backstage heat, Meltzer reported that it has gotten even worse for some unknown reason. He said that “everybody” hates him, and the cooling crowd response to him is bad news because his reactions had been saving him.

JBL spoke publicly about Enzo’s heat on Bring It To The Table a few weeks ago, and said that the “odds are completely against” Enzo making it in the company.

“Now here’s what’s bad about it. Most of those guys – except for Miz, Miz is the only one – never made it,” JBL said. “Once the locker turned against these guys – they were sprayed with human repellent or whatever – they never made it. So the odds are completely against Enzo. Now I think he’s very talented, I’ve had a good working relationship with him but apparently there’s a lot of problems with him and the rest of the world.”

Big Cass Turns On Enzo Amore, Reveals He Was The Backstage Attacker (Video)

big cass enzo break up turn heel video raw

The mystery of who’s been attacking Enzo Amore and Big Cass was finally solved last night on RAW.

Kurt Angle closed out the show by questioning The Revival and Big Show about the backstage attacks, but neither were the guilty party.

With no suspects left, Corey Graves stood up from the commentary table and said he had some important security footage, which revealed that Cass faked his injuries in order to make himself look innocent.

Big Cass finally admitted it was him.

Cass said he was tired of always protecting Enzo and the attacks were merely a sign that he had enough. Enzo started to cry as Cass told him he was holding the two back from ever being champion in NXT or on Raw. He then said that they were through and delivered a big boot to Enzo’s face before walking off to end the show.

Source: WrestlingINC

While Enzo Amore appeared to be in good spirits following the concussion he suffered at WWE Payback last night, F4Wonline.com reports that people close to Enzo says it was a severe concussion.

It was also noted that Enzo was able to remember everything from before the match. He was able to communicate with paramedics and move his extremities before the ambulance left the arena. As noted, Enzo underwent other medical tests at a local hospital but they all came back negative and he was discharged before Payback went off the air.

No word yet on how long he will be out of action but he will have to pass the ImPACT concussion tests before he’s cleared.
