Alexa Bliss Allegedly Cleared To Return?

Mark Henry revealed details today on a conversation he recently had with Alexa Bliss about her injury. Despite the scary specifics however, Henry claims she’s now been cleared.

The WWE Hall of Famer talked about the conversation Tuesday on SiriusXM’s Busted Open and explained how he sat with Bliss for about 15-20 minutes to discuss her condition.

Henry says Bliss told him the concussion she suffered was so bad she couldn’t remember where she was or what she was doing at times. Alexa then came back too soon after this happened and hit her head again … causing another concussion.

As we previously reported, WWE claimed Alexa’s first injury was arm related at the time. It’s clear that wasn’t the case though, as Mark says she suffered two head injuries but has now been cleared.

While we’ve been unable to confirm Alexa has been cleared, it’s worth noting she was at the Performance Center last week working in the ring with Mike Quackenbush.

Since Alexa has been away from the ring, she’s been put in charge of the women’s division on WWE TV.

Mickie James Gives Update On Alexa Bliss Following Recent Concussion

Alexa Bliss suffered a concussion wrestling Ronda Rousey at a live event over the weekend, but Mickie James says she’s confident her tag partner will still be in attendance at Evolution.

Mickie gave an update on Alexa’s condition during Wednesday’s edition of Busted Open on Sirius XM and said, “She’ll definitely be there on Sunday,”

“I know she’s doing better,” James continued. “I try to talk to her everyday, I know she’s doing better every day. Obviously, we all know, this isn’t ballet and it comes with the territory. So, as long as it’s what’s best for business and what’s best for her long-term health. I have no doubts that, regardless, we’ll all be out there and it’s gonna be amazing.”

As you may have noticed, Alicia Fox was injected into the feud involving WWE Hall of Famers Lita and Trish Stratus during Raw this week … so it seems like she may be a backup plan if Alexa doesn’t get cleared.

Alexa Bliss Reportedly Injured Again This Past Weekend

Alexa Bliss is reportedly out of action with another injury, according to F4Wonline.com.

Word is that Bliss suffered a concussion at Saturday night’s WWE live event in Hartford, CT, but WWE has not confirmed that.

Bliss missed Sunday’s WWE Supershow in Boston, despite being advertised. Bliss had been out of action with an arm injury but she returned to the ring Friday’s live event in Bangor, ME. She then suffered the injury on Saturday in Hartford. The matches on Friday and Saturday saw Bliss and Mickie James lose to Nia Jax and RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey when Bliss tapped to Rousey. Tamina Snuka replaced Bliss on Sunday in Boston.

Bliss is currently scheduled to team with Mickie to face WWE Hall of Famers Lita and Trish Stratus at Sunday’s WWE Evolution pay-per-view.

Alexa Bliss Injury And WWE Status Update

As noted, WWE announced today that Alexa Bliss is currently out of action with an arm injury and will be replaced by Ember Moon in season 2 of the Mixed Match Challenge. Moon and Braun Strowman will face Kevin Owens and Natalya at tonight’s tapings.

Bliss did suffer the injury while wrestling RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey at Sunday’s Hell In a Cell pay-per-view. PWInsider adds that the plan is for Bliss to return to the Mixed Match Challenge to team with Strowman once she’s cleared to compete, if she’s cleared in time. Bliss will also miss weekend WWE live events.

WWE explained the Bliss injury with the following announcement on their website:

After her match against The Baddest Woman on the Planet, Bliss began to complain of soreness on Monday before waking up with numbness in her left arm Tuesday morning. After seeking medical attention, Alexa received word that she is not cleared for WWE Mixed Match Challenge or live events this weekend. Accordingly, Acting Raw General Manager Baron Corbin decided to replace the five-time Women’s Champion with Ember Moon as Strowman’s tag team partner for tonight.

RAW GM Kurt Angle Suspends Ronda Rousey For 30 Days, WWE Confirms Her Return Date

RAW General Manager Kurt Angle announced on this week’s show that Ronda Rousey has been suspended for 30 days. Rousey interrupted this week’s RAW opening segment to confront new RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss and ended up assaulting Bliss, Angle and a few referees. Angle then suspended Rousey as punishment. Rousey made it clear that she will be going for Bliss when the suspension is up, champion or not.

Ronda Rousey suspended from Raw for 30 daysRonda Rousey has been suspended from Monday Night Raw for 30 days after attacking Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss, two WWE officials and Raw General Manager Kurt Angle.

The incident occurred one night after WWE Money in the Bank, where Bliss caused Rousey’s Raw Women’s Championship Match against Nia Jax to end in disqualification. The Goddess then cashed in her newly won Money in the Bank contract on The Irresistible Force to claim the title.

Jax will challenge Bliss for the title in a rematch at WWE Extreme Rules. Rousey, meanwhile, will be barred from Monday Night Raw until Wednesday, July 18 — three days after that event.

Alexa Bliss Shares Emotional Moment With Fan Battling Eating Disorder (Video)

If you need a good cry to finish out your work week, you’re about to get it courtesy of Alexa Bliss.

During a question and answer session Friday with fans at MegaCon in Orlando, a young girl in the audience revealed she was recovering from an eating disorder and asked if the wrestler was ever told she was too small to do certain things.

Bliss, who battled anorexia, walked to the edge of the stage and asked the girl to approach her. Taking her hand, Alexa gave her the encouragement she said she once received.

“Don’t let anyone ever tell you that you can’t do anything. Ok? Because even though you’re struggling, I’ve been there,” Bliss said looking directly into the girl’s eyes. “I remember having someone tell me that I can get through it and it didn’t have to define me.”

At this point, everyone in the crowd pulled out their cellphones capturing the magical moment. The girl appeared to wipe away tears as Bliss continued.

“You cannot let anyone ever tell you what you can or cannot do. And I’m so happy that you’re getting help and that you’re getting healthier, because you’re beautiful inside and out,” added Bliss. “Please do not let anyone determine your self worth.”

Bliss hugged the girl as the crowd applauded in support.

After the event, which also featured Braun Strowman and Shinsuke Nakamura, Bliss tweeted, “this is why I love What I do.”

Alexa Bliss Injured At WWE Backlash?

WWE has announced that Alexa Bliss suffered a left shoulder injury during her loss to RAW Women’s Champion Nia Jax at the Backlash pay-per-view on Sunday.

 There’s no word as of yet on Bliss’ status. Below is WWE’s full announcement:

Nia Jax — Leave Of Absence Reasoning Confirmed By Alexa Bliss

Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss took part in an interview today and revealed the reason for her good friend Nia Jax‘s sudden break from the road.

Bliss told the NY Post that she’s spoken with Nia about her decision to take time off and noted that it’s due to her body being tired from life on the road.

She explained, “Whatever she is going through, I wouldn’t necessarily call it a leave of absence. She’s taking some time off because our schedule is very grueling. It’s very, very demanding. There are times where you are run down and your body can’t do it anymore and you get sick or you get injured from it and you get tired.”

Sports Illustrated reported this week that Jax was unhappy with her pay scale and creative. For clarification, a leave of absence is the correct wording. It means approved time off from work.

Bliss continued, “So, I feel like everyone needs a reset every once in a while. In NXT I took a few resets and it was never like public knowledge, but we all need them. We all take them once in a while. I am happy when she comes back. I feel like everyone needs that refresher week or refresher moment.”

Two Raw Superstars Set To Join Cast Of ‘Total Divas’, Renee Young Not Returning

Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that RAW Superstars Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax were recently added to the cast of Total Divas for season 7.

It was previously reported that Eva Marie will no longer be apart of the Total Divas cast, and now Renee Young revealed that she’s no longer part of the cast.

Young replied to a fan Saturday night on Twitter who asked if she’d still be on the show next season and Renee answered, “Nope I am not, but the new cast will crush it!!”

So it appears that Bliss and Jax will be replacing Eva Marie and Renee Young on the show.
