Bron Breakker Is Medically Cleared – WWE Planned Rollins Vs. GUNTHER Weeks Ago

Seth Rollins vs. GUNTHER Set for WrestleMania 42 as WWE Delays Major Rollins/Breakker Feud

With WrestleMania 42 quickly approaching, WWE has started locking in key pieces for the two-night event—and one newly announced matchup has definitely raised some eyebrows.

During this week’s episode of Raw, Seth Rollins finally learned his WrestleMania opponent, and it’s not who many fans were expecting. Instead of squaring off with the rising Bron Breakker, Rollins is now set to collide with GUNTHER on the grand stage.

The setup came in chaotic fashion. Rollins, still entangled in his ongoing issues with Paul Heyman, took things to another level by attacking Heyman with a steel chair and finishing him off with a Curb Stomp. However, before Rollins could stand tall for long, GUNTHER stormed in, dragging him out of the ring and launching a brutal assault of his own—officially igniting their WrestleMania program.

The choice of GUNTHER as Rollins’ opponent comes as a surprise, especially given the limited time remaining to build the feud, with only a couple of Raw episodes left before WrestleMania. Many had assumed WWE was heading toward a high-profile clash between Rollins and Breakker, particularly given their recent tension.

Interestingly, Breakker’s absence from the WrestleMania match card isn’t due to injury concerns. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Live, Breakker has already been medically cleared after spending time rehabbing at the WWE Performance Center. Instead, WWE reportedly made a strategic call to hold off on the Rollins vs. Breakker showdown, viewing it as a marquee program worth saving for a bigger stage down the line—potentially SummerSlam.

Meltzer also noted that the decision to insert GUNTHER into this spot wasn’t a last-minute pivot. Plans for him to face Rollins were reportedly put in motion weeks ago, particularly after Bronson Reed suffered an injury that forced WWE to reshuffle creative plans. At that point, someone affiliated with The Vision faction was slated to face Rollins, and GUNTHER ultimately landed in that role.

For context, Rollins’ issues with The Vision date back to last October, when the group turned on him and cast him out. Around that same time, Rollins was sidelined with a legitimate shoulder injury. He made his return at the Elimination Chamber premium live event, revealing himself as the mysterious masked figure who had been disrupting matches in the weeks leading up to the show.

While some fans may have expected a different opponent, Rollins vs. GUNTHER promises to be a hard-hitting encounter between two of WWE’s most intense competitors. Meanwhile, the delayed Rollins vs. Breakker feud could end up being an even bigger payoff if WWE gives it the time and spotlight it clearly believes it deserves.

Update on Nikki Bella Following Possible Ankle Injury on SmackDown

With WrestleMania season heating up, any potential injury can raise alarms—and that’s exactly what happened to Nikki Bella following last week’s episode of SmackDown. Fortunately, the latest update suggests fans can breathe a sigh of relief.

During a chaotic tag team match featuring The Bella Twins against Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, things broke down quickly. The Irresistible Forces, Nia Jax and her partner, stormed in after the match and laid out both teams, sparking a larger brawl that brought Bayley and Lyra Valkyria into the mix. While most of the women stood tall by the end of the segment, Nikki Bella was notably absent from the in-ring celebration.

The reason? A scary moment late in the match where Nikki appeared to tweak her ankle during an exchange with Nia Jax on the outside. She was seen limping and didn’t return to the action, instead being checked on by WWE medical staff as the segment wrapped up.

According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, the situation doesn’t appear to be serious. Nikki is reportedly “fine” despite the awkward landing, which is a welcome update given how close WWE is to its biggest show of the year.

Despite the scare, Nikki didn’t stay out of the spotlight for long. The Bella Twins made their presence felt on Monday Night Raw during the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match between The Irresistible Forces and the team of Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.

That match was already high-energy, with Bayley and Valkyria using speed and teamwork to counter the champions’ power. At one point, Bayley launched herself onto Nia Jax with a suicide dive, while Valkyria mixed in high-risk offense to keep the champs off balance. Still, the strength of the cha

Brie Bella Says The Bella Twins Are Waiting on WWE Storyline for TV Return

The Bella Twins haven’t disappeared from WWE television because they’re done wrestling — they’re simply waiting for the call.

During a recent appearance on Lala Kent’s podcast, Brie Bella addressed the duo’s current status with WWE and why fans haven’t seen them regularly since their Royal Rumble appearance earlier this year.

According to Brie, she originally expected that she and Nikki Bella would transition back into weekly programming after competing in the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble. However, WWE reportedly told the sisters that they would be brought back when there was a storyline ready for them.

Brie admitted that the situation caught her off guard, noting that five weeks have already passed since then without a follow-up from WWE creative.

Despite the wait, Brie made it clear that both she and Nikki are eager to return to the ring. With WrestleMania 42 approaching, the sisters have their eyes on a potential opportunity — particularly with the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships scheduled to be defended at the event.

Brie said they’re motivated to show that they can still compete with the current generation of WWE talent if given the right storyline and platform.

The Bella Twins’ most recent joint appearance on WWE television came during the February 2 episode of Monday Night RAW. Since then, speculation about their return has continued to circulate among fans.

Fueling those rumors even more, Nikki Bella was recently spotted in Phoenix ahead of SmackDown, sparking discussion about a possible appearance. The sisters have also confirmed that they will be involved during WrestleMania 42 weekend in Las Vegas, though exactly what that involvement looks like remains to be seen.

For now, it appears the Bellas are simply waiting for WWE creative to find the right moment to bring them back into the spotlight.

Brie Bella Fires Back at Online Trolls as Thea Hail Speaks Out About Toxic Wrestling Fans

Online criticism has always been part of professional wrestling, but several WWE stars are making it clear that the level of hate—particularly aimed at women—has gone too far. Recently, both Brie Bella and NXT standout Thea Hail spoke openly about the harsh treatment they receive on social media and why they’re pushing back.

During a recent episode of the “Nikki & Brie” podcast, Brie Bella didn’t hold back when addressing the constant criticism directed at female wrestlers. According to Brie, she’s only interested in feedback from people who actually understand the business and the challenges women face in it.

Brie explained that she values opinions from people who have experienced the wrestling industry firsthand—especially those who understand what it’s like to work in a male-dominated environment. For critics who have never been in that position, she made it clear their opinions carry little weight.

She also called out the boldness many people show behind a keyboard, joking that social media gives “brave fingers” to people who wouldn’t say those things in person. Brie added that she’s not afraid to clap back at trolls who try to tear her down online, making it clear she’s more than willing to defend herself when needed.

Brie’s comments come shortly after NXT star Thea Hail shared her own emotional message about dealing with negativity from fans.

Taking to social media, the 22-year-old wrestler reminded followers just how young she is and how much she sacrificed to pursue her wrestling dream. Hail revealed that she moved away from home during high school to chase a career in professional wrestling—something many people wouldn’t have been willing to do.

Despite dedicating the last five years of her life to the business, Hail said it’s been difficult to constantly see negative comments about her as a person whenever she checks her social media feeds. She described the experience as exhausting, especially after working so hard to reach major moments in her career.

Hail emphasized that while she loves professional wrestling more than anything, the constant online criticism can be discouraging. She urged fans to remember that the performers they watch every week are still human beings behind the characters.

Before posting harsh comments, she asked people to take a moment and consider how they would feel if those same words were directed at them.

The recent comments from Brie Bella and Thea Hail highlight an ongoing conversation within the wrestling community about fan behavior and the impact of social media. While passionate fan reactions are nothing new in the industry, many performers are hoping for a shift toward more respectful interactions online.

As more wrestlers speak out, the message is becoming clear: support and criticism are both part of fandom—but personal attacks don’t have to be.

Xavier Woods Provides Injury Update After Stepping Away From WWE Action

Xavier Woods is staying positive despite dealing with a significant shoulder issue that has temporarily sidelined him from in-ring competition.

On the February 16 episode of WWE RAW, Kofi Kingston informed fans that his New Day partner would be stepping away from wrestling after battling a shoulder injury for roughly three months. Woods’ last match took place in a dark match ahead of the 2026 Royal Rumble, and he hasn’t competed since.

Now, Woods himself has shed more light on the situation.

Speaking on the No Contest Wrestling podcast, Woods revealed that the damage to his shoulder is more serious than initially believed. According to the former King of the Ring, doctors found multiple tears, describing his shoulder as having “gone through the meat grinder.”

At this point, the hope is that physical therapy will be enough to get him back to full strength. However, Woods acknowledged that surgery remains a possibility if rehab doesn’t resolve the issue.

Despite the uncertainty, Woods made it clear he’s approaching the situation with optimism. He said he’s staying positive about the recovery process and is prepared to undergo surgery if that’s what’s required to properly heal. In his view, everything happens for a reason, and he’s choosing to focus on the bigger picture rather than the setback itself.

For New Day fans, the news is obviously concerning. Woods has been a consistent presence on WWE television for years, whether competing in tag team action alongside Kingston or carving out his own singles opportunities. His absence will certainly be felt if recovery takes longer than expected.

As of now, there’s no official timeline for his return. The next few weeks will likely determine whether rehab is enough or if Woods will need to go under the knife.

We’ll continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as more information becomes available.
