This is not a late April Fool’s joke. The WWE just sent out word that April Jenette Brooks better known as AJ Lee has decided to retire from professional Wrestling. The WWE wishes AJ well and so do we here at WrestlingNewsBlog.
AJ was on the very first all female version of the completion show “NXT”. She made it to the final 3, AJ Lee is also a former GM of Raw, main eventef Raw multiple times and is a 3 time divas champion and not to mention the longest reigning divas champ of all time.
One of AJ’s most iconic moments was when she dropped her “pipebombshell” on the cast of total divas in 2014. One of my personal favorite AJ moments is the ongoing feud she had with real life best friend Kaitlyn (Celeste Braun)
I know today is a sad day for many fans but I honestly can’t say I didn’t see this one coming. With her husband CM Punk No longer a worker for WWE it was only a matter of time before we saw AJ Lee leave as well.
You can’t blame her for wanting to live a normal life with her husband but one thing is Forsure the black widow crazy chick has left her mark on the WWE and will be forever remembered.
Feel free to share your favorite AJ moments with us in the comments or you can tweet us @WrestleNewsBlog

This past Monday WWE Monday Night Raw took place from San Jose California. The Raw following WrestleMania always has one of the craziest crowds and this Monday was no exception.
The crowd was on fire all night long but one of the most notable chants was during the divas match. More specifically the chants directed at the Bella Twins. The chants were you suck Cena and you suck Bryan.
Both Trevor and I agree that although we may not agree with those chants as a fan when you buy a ticket you have the right to cheer what you want. Not to mention as said before its a post mania crowd so it’s to be expected.
The Bella’s took to their Twitter to respond to the chants and I have to say I absolutely love the smart ass reply
So what did you guys think about the chants? Were you offended? Did you find them humerous? Sound off in the comments below.

At WrestleMania 31 we saw two matches on the post show. Those two matches were the Fatal 4 way for the Tag titles and The Andre The giant memorial battle royal. However there were talks of moving even more matches to the pre show. One of those matches was the Divas Tag match.
It is being said that the reason why it was kept on the main stage is because WWE feared of the backlash they would receive from the fans, especially with the outgoing usage of #GiveDivasAChance
So there you have it folks the powers that be are finally listening to us. WE ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE. Let’s hope this monement only continues to grow and flourish.

While there is no deal for Ronda Rousey to work WWE’s WrestleMania 31 next year, it’s said that if they do another angle with her and Stephanie McMahon between now and next spring it could be at the October 25th Hell In A Cell pay-per-view from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

“Stone Cold” Steve Austin did not travel to Santa Clara for WrestleMania 31 festivities. PWInsider Elite reports that Austin was scheduled to fly into San Jose on the same flight with The Undertaker but Austin did not go. WWE even had an employee waiting to pick Austin up at the airport. WWE still thought he might show up because there was a room with his name on it backstage at Levi’s Stadium until mid-week.
There appears to be issues between Austin and Vince McMahon. One person close to the situation said they never seen Vince as angry about anything else. The rift between Austin and Vince reportedly has to do with Austin’s podcast on the WWE Network and Vince not liking some aspects of it. This is likely why WWE Network is now carrying Chris Jericho’s podcast instead.
WWE also wanted Austin for the upcoming season of Tough Enough but he reportedly turned it down for an unknown reason. Some expect Austin to address his issues with WWE shortly.
