WWE.com announced that Shinsuke Nakamura will be at NXT TakeOver: Dallas, which takes place during WrestleMania 32 week.
WWE issued the following:
Yes, the rumors are true. Shinsuke Nakamura is coming to WWE NXT.
At Wednesday night’s NXT taping at Full Sail University in Orlando, Fla., a video announcing the arrival of the Japanese standout at TakeOver: Dallas, which takes place during WrestleMania 32 Week, played for the live crowd, sending shockwaves through the arena and, moments later, the social media world.
Nakamura, a 14-year veteran of the squared circle, has been a leading star in the New Japan promotion since 2002. Renowned for his striking and submission ability, as well as his unorthodox charisma, Nakamura’s devastating Bomaye knee strike has felled many opponents and his smash mouth style has earned him the nickname The King of Strong Style. A three-time IWGP Champion — the same title once held by the likes of Vader, The Great Muta and AJ Styles — Nakamura is the youngest competitor to win that championship, capturing it for the first time at 23. He has taken on a who’s who of the best grapplers in the world in his career, facing the likes of Finn Bálor, Kevin Owens, Hideo Itami, WWE Performance Center Head Coach Matt Bloom and The Beast Incarnate himself, Brock Lesnar.
Rumors of Nakamura coming to WWE first started in early January, along with gossip about AJ Styles and Bullet Club members Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows returning to America. Reports about Styles became truth during the 2016 Royal Rumble Match when The Phenomenal One entered at No. 3. Now, The King of Strong Style has decreed that he will be stepping between the yellow ropes in the not-so-distant future.
What does Shinsuke Nakamura have planned for NXT and The Superstars of Tomorrow at TakeOver: Dallas? Find out by tuning into NXT, every Wednesday at 8/7 C, only on WWE Network!

Smith Hart, the eldest member of the legendary Hart family, confirmed on his Facebook account that WWE will not be inducting Owen Hart into the Hall of Fame this year. Smith noted that the reason WWE gave was Owen’s widow, Martha. A frustrated Smith blasted the WWE Hall of Fame for being “nothing more than profiteering, grandstanding and political BS.”

Time To play The Game:
After consecutively tossing Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose over the top rope in the tense final moments of the Royal Rumble Match, Triple H became a 14-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion, punching his ticket to the main event of this year’s WrestleMania. As The Game celebrated with his wife, Stephanie McMahon, and his calculating father-in-law, Mr. McMahon, The Cerebral Assassin also reveled in the demise of The Big Dog’s Show of Shows dreams.
Now that The Authority is once in possession of sports-entertainment’s crown jewel, how will Triple H and the rest of the McMahon family celebrate on Raw? Plus, now that The Game has returned to WWE for the first time since Reigns sent him to the hospital more than a month ago, what’s going through the defeated Big Dog’s mind?
What will be AJ Styles’ next move?
Mask hysteria:
In yet another exciting upset, Kalisto conquered Alberto Del Rio to reclaim the United States Championship at last night’s Royal Rumble event — a victory that was as dazzling as it was inspirational.
Long after the “Lucha, Lucha, Lucha!” chants subsided in Orlando’s Amway Center, the masked marvel still has WWE fans around the world buzzing. How will Kalisto keep his incredible momentum going on Raw — and how will Del Rio and The League of Nations attempt to exact revenge on the two-time United States Champion?
Is Sasha Banks our next Divas Champion?
Of buzzards and Beast:
It took four members of The Wyatt Family and a flagrant abuse of the no disqualification nature of the Royal Rumble Match, but Brock Lesnar was sent tumbling over the top rope last night, preventing The Beast Incarnate from striding into WrestleMania with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship around his waist.
Now that The Eater of Worlds and his flock have beaten the unstoppable Lesnar for the time being, who will feel their wrath next?
