Paige’s Brother ‘Very Worried’ About His Sister, Accuses Alberto El Patron Of Domestic Battery

Zak Bevis, the real-life brother of WWE superstar Paige, noted on his Facebook page on Tuesday morning that he’s “very worried” about his sister.

“I’ve got too say I’m very worried about my sister,” Bevis wrote (sic). “Please keep a eye on her, she had one Prick Known as brad Maddox who took advantage of an 18 year old girl. Physically and mentally abused her. And now she’s with a control freak who think he’s a tough guy cause he’s beats my sister and has money too cover his tracks..”

News broke on Monday that Alberto El Patron was detained by police at the Orlando International Airport on Sunday following a domestic incident. Paige claimed the incident was not between herself and Alberto but rather with an angry fan that allegedly threw a drink on the GFW Impact World Heavyweight Champion. Audio of the incident revealed Alberto telling someone to “call the cops” and Paige crying. A witness claimed the wrestling couple were arguing at a restaurant in the airport.

“I love my sister she will end up like Whitney Houston or Amy Winehouse,” Zak wrote on Facebook. “….please share this,,I want the world to know that i care about my lil sister…..everyone keep an eye on her …you’ll be argry at me but I love you, I’m writing this on behalf of all the Knights.”

Zak also noted that their father, Ricky Knight, will weigh in later, noting, “Thanks for all the messages. Yes this is very hard to do. Ricky Knight is the head of this family and will have his say later.”

Former ROH Star Lio Rush announced last night at a CZW event – after losing the CZW Championship to Shane Strickland – that his August 5 appearance will be his last with the promotion.

According to PWInsider, the 22 year old was in Orlando earlier in the week. It’s believed he was offered an NXT deal and a signing could be coming in the near future.

Rush was interviewed earlier in the week by Ring Rush Radio and was asked about his interest with the WWE.

“Of course, I feel like everybody’s long-term goal should be in the WWE,” Rush said. “If you hear anybody say the WWE would never be my main goal, that’s complete bulls—. We all grew up watching WWE; there wasn’t any other thing on TV other than WWE. WWE was the main reason people wanted to actually become a wrestler. My interest in WWE again is through the roof. I haven’t been contacted by WWE, but the playing field right now with the cruiserweights, and that’s been somewhat of a main focus with them, it drives me to become better. It puts a bit of a chip on my shoulder and makes me a little bitter because that is considered to be the best cruiserweights in the world. So for me to not be a part the same conversation with the best cruiserweights in the world with the biggest promotion in the world, it just makes me want to be there that much more.”

While the writeup says Carter “worked with The Olympic Gold Medalist from 2006 to 2016,” there’s no mention of TNA or Impact Wrestling.

For those who don’t recall, Dixie resigned from her role as Impact Wrestling Chairman in January after the company was purchased by Anthem Sports & Entertainment.

Austin Aries Released By WWE

WWE announced that they have released Austin Aries. No other details were made available. Below is their full statement:

“WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstar Austin Aries. WWE wishes Aries the best in all of his future endeavors”

Aries officially signed with WWE in January of 2016 and debuted on NXT on the March 2nd episode. He suffered a large orbital socket injury at the hands of Shinsuke Nakamura during a NXT live event last October which put him out of action for nearly five months. He re-surfaced on the main roster as a commentator for Cruiserweight matches, before making his main roster debut as a Cruiserweight this past March.

Aries went on to challenge Neville for the Cruiserweight Championship at WrestleMania 33 in a pre-show match, which Neville won. Aries’ last WWE match was a losing effort against Neville at WWE Extreme Rules on June 4th, 2017. Aries appeared on 205 Live the following week and said that he had been dealing with knee and neck injuries, and has not appeared on WWE television since.

“I’ve got some stuff going on, but just to be fair you could probably say that for a lot of the locker room,” Aries said on Busted Open Radio last month. “It’s kind of part of what we do, I don’t think anyone is ever 100%. So I got a couple things going on and obviously at this point it might be a good time to take a little break which really could consist of two days to just adjust some of those things, try and get my mind and my body right and then come back and figure out what’s gonna be next and what the direction’s gonna be.”
