William Ogletree, a 25-year-old entertainer from Oklahoma City, died on Tuesday after suffering a critical head injury at an unsanctioned wrestling event. Ogletree suffered the injury on Sunday and was reported to have no brain activity on Tuesday, according to The Oklahoman.

Ogletree was injured after being hit with a spine buster, according to his uncle Jospeh Ogletree. The uncle said his nephew only recently began competing in professional wrestling but had expressed interest in it for quite some time.

According to the administrator of the Oklahoma State Athletic Commission Joe Miller, this event was not licensed by the commission despite the state’s requirement for all professional wrestling events to receive approval before they begin. Miller identified the promoter as Leslie Hensley of Balthazar’s Ladies of Wrestling (B.L.O.W.), who did not comment on the incident.

Ogletree was a stand-up comedian and guitarist for a local rock band. His last post on social media on Sunday read, “This Sunday I will be wrestling in a match with a lot of extremely talented people! I’m so excited to help with this. I am going to get beat up a lot so if you don’t like me this is the show for you!”

Rosemary Provides Injury Update, Replaces Sexy Star At Event

sexy star

As noted, over the weekend Sexy Star purposefully injured Rosemary’s shoulder at the end of their Reina de Reinas Championship Match (which also included Lady Shani & Ayako Hamada) at AAA’s TripleMania XXV event. Since then, Rosemary has responded to what happened, commenting that Sexy Star tried to say it was a work, which Rosemary wanted to make very clear that it wasn’t. While a number of wrestling stars have reacted to the incident, Sexy Star has already felt the backlash, getting pulled from a WrestleCade Weekend event.

Yesterday, WrestleCade announced that Rosemary will be making an appearance for that same event.

Rosemary also took to Twitter yesterday to provide an update on her injury, saying it’s a strained tricep/bicep with swelling around the area and that time away from the ring should be minimal. She also thanked those who supported her and when wrestlers do make mistakes in the ring, they should own up to them. You can see her full comments below.

Sexy Star Pulled From Upcoming Booking Over Rosemary Incident

sexy star

Sexy Star is starting to feel the backlash for reportedly purposely injuring Rosemary’s shoulder at this past Saturday night’s AAA TripleMania XXV event.

Many wrestlers have spoken out over Star’s actions, and now promotions are starting to take action.

WrestleCade announced that they have pulled Sexy Star from their WrestleCade Weekend event in late November. Below is the official statement from WrestleCade:

The WrestleCade Team has read the online reports, watched the video, and saw both deleted & still posted tweets regarding the incident between Sexy Star & Rosemary at this weekends AAA’s TripleMania Event. We now have heard from Rosemary who said it was obvious to her that Sexy Star tried to intentionally injure her after their match ended. There is no place for this in professional wrestling. Therefore we have made the decision NOT to bring Sexy Star to WrestleCade Weekend. We’re sorry for the fans who were looking forward to meeting her but we encourage you to read the reports and we hope you’ll agree with our decision.

Anyone who ordered meet and greet tickets in advance will be receiving refunds ASAP.

The Wrestling World Is Furious With Sexy Star After She Legitimately Injured Rosemary At AAA Triplemania

sexy star

There are many wrestlers working to apply their craft all over the world, and even though they may not always get along behind the scenes, they have a responsibility to look out for one another, and keep each other safe when they’re inside the ring. Unfortunately it sounds like Sexy Star went into business for herself Saturday night at AAA Triplemania XXV.

Sexy Star defended the AAA Reinas de Reina Championship against Rosemary, Lady Shani and Ayako Hamada, and she made Rosemary tap out after applying her armbar submission. But after Rosemary tapped out, Sexy Star continued to apply pressure to the arm, and it was later reported that she legitimately popped Rosemary’s arm out of place.

PWInsider reports that the injury is not as serious as originally thought, and Rosemary isn’t expected to miss any time in the ring. The report notes that before Sexy Star left the venue, Vampiro brought her to Rosemary so she could apologize.

It’s also being reported that Sexy Star and Shani were legitimately shooting on each other at one point during the match, and Star quickly left the venue after apologizing to Rosemary, and Shani was said to be looking for Star because she was upset over their interaction in the ring.

You can check out a quick clip of Sexy Star locking in the armbar on Rosemary below:

It’s very clear that the wrestling world is not happy with Sexy Star at all, and you can check out some of the reactions below:

Paige Will Not Be Charged With Domestic Violence, Case Is Closed

WWE star Paige (Saraya-Jade Bevis) will not be charged with domestic abuse stemming from an incident at the Orlando International Airport according to TMZ Sports.

A representative for the 9th Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office informed TMZ that the case is now officially closed as Alberto El Patron (Jose Rodriguez) opted to not press charges against her. Rodriguez will not be formally charged either.

Orlando police had initially cleared Patron of all wrong doing and indicated they would open an investigation regarding Paige going forward. Paige would have been facing another suspension from WWE had she been charged per the company’s domestic violence policy.

Paige stated in recent weeks that she is still working towards a return to the ring for WWE. Patron was recently stripped of the GFW World Championship and appeared to be written off GFW television the next few months leading up to Bound for Glory in November.

Enzo Amore Makes WWE 205 Live Debut (Video)

Enzo Amore made his WWE 205 Live debut on last night’s show from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The debut comes just one night after he defeated Big Cass in a Brooklyn Street Fight on RAW, due to Cass suffering an injury, and two nights after he was beat up by Cass at SummerSlam following Cass’ victory over Big Show. Enzo was suspended above the ring in a shark cage for most of the match but he managed to escape.

Regarding Enzo’s debut, Neville retained the WWE Cruiserweight Title over Akira Tozawa in the main event and then cut a promo about being the King of the Cruiserweights. Neville was then interrupted by Enzo, who did his usual introduction and entrance. Enzo declared that 205 Live is now the realest show in the room. He also took a shot at Neville and called him “SAWFT” to end the show.

Breaking News: Alberto El Patron Stripped Of GFW World Heavyweight Championship

Alberto El Patron has been stripped of the GFW World Heavyweight Championship, the company announced in a statement on Monday. You can read the statement below:

GFW has concluded its internal consideration of the events surrounding the suspension of Alberto El Patron. While it is apparent that initial reports unfairly characterized El Patron’s involvement in the incident in the Orlando airport, we are nonetheless disappointed with the manner in which he dealt with this situation; we expect more decorum from all on the GFW roster, especially the World Champion. We have communicated with El Patron our decision to strip him of his championship title. No decision has been taken as to the date on which he will be reinstated to the roster, the conditions of which are a private matter between the company and El Patron.

Police confirmed that El Patron was detained following a domestic incident at the Orlando International Airport on July 9, 2017. He was not arrested and no charges were filed at the time.

TMZ reported Patron allegedly roughed up a female companion but did not mention his girlfriend Paige by name. There has been no indication that Patron got physical. In response, Paige tweeted this:

“WE got the cops involved. I’m crying cuz I found out bad fam news & a lady tries take a pic. She gets angry throws a drink on @PrideOfMexico,” tweeted Paige. “Please leave us alone. That’s it.”

Paige’s tweet was highly disputed by eyewitness accounts and reports that followed the incident. TMZ obtained audio from the incident where Alberto is heard telling someone, possibly Paige, to “call the cops.” Paige is heard crying and yelling, “Just stay out of my life. Leave me the f-ck alone. I’m trying to get away from you!”

A witness claimed El Patron and Paige were arguing and Patron told Paige he was pressing charges against her. A witness told Heavy.com that the couple were arguing on the airport tram system, with Paige screaming at El Patron that he had been doing cocaine for “two days straight” and she called him abusive. There were also claims El Patron smelled like alcohol.

GFW announced on July 12, 2017 that El Patron was suspended indefinitely. Over the course of the investigation, authorities determined Paige could face charges but none have been filed at press time. Patron has not worked for GFW since his suspension.

Both Paige and El Patron addressed the incident during a radio interview on Busted Open with Bully Ray and Dave Lagreca earlier this month. Each claimed they planned to return to work soon, with Paige going back to WWE and El Patron to GFW. Patron claimed a date for his return had been set but GFW clarified he was still suspended.
