Memphis Wild Fire Wrestling “Long Live The King” Tonight
Memphis Wild Fire Wrestling’s event “Long Live The King” is tonight in Memphis, Tennessee at Minglewood Hall. The event is to celebrate the career of Jerry “The King” Lawler. Those scheduled to appear are Lance Russell, Dave Brown, Referee Jerry Calhoun, “The Boggie Woogie Man” “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant, “Superstar” Bill Dundee, Grand Master Sexay” Brian Christopher, PG-13 (J.C. ICE & Wolfe D), The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) & Koko B. Ware. It starts at 7pm E.
The main event will be Jerry “The King” Lawler VS “Dangerous” Doug Gilbert.

Bully Ray Close To Signing Short Term TNA Deal
Bully Ray is reportedly close to signing a 2 date deal with TNA according to PWInsider. The extension would allow him to finish the TNA Tag Team Series with The Hardy’s & The Wolves at this week’s Impact tapings in Bethlehem, PA. Bully’s second & final date would come on October 12th in Japan at TNA’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view, where he will be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame along with Devon.
Devon’s last date with TNA would also be October 12th.

Jake “The Snake” Roberts To Have Lung Biopsy/ Gave Health Update
Jake “The Snake” Roberts provided a update on his health on Twitter. Jake said he will require a biopsy on his lungs & another area. He mentioned that 2 of his daughters were in town for the weekend. He also noted that the pneumonia did some serious damage. He also complimented WWE for their help in the situation.
Former WCW & WWE Star Sean O’Haire Found Dead In His Home
Former WCW & WWE star Sean O’Haire passed away this past Monday at the age of 43. Spartanburg County South Carolina coroner Rusty Clevenger said O’Haire’s body was found in his South Carolina home Tuesday. Clevenger said his office is conducting a joint investigation with Spartanburg Police Department. He said the cause of death is still under investigation & the results from an external examination & toxicology reports are pending.
O’Haire made his debut in WCW in 2000. He won multiple tag team championships there before WCW was bought by WWE. O’Haire wrestled for WWE until 2004 before he was injured in a motorcycle accident.
WWE issued the following statement on O’Haire’s death:
“WWE extends its condolences to Sean Christopher Haire’s family, friends and fans on his passing. Haire performed under the name ‘Sean O’Haire,’ and was under contract with WWE from 2001-2004.”
Jake “The Snake” Roberts Is Feeling Better
Jake “The Snake” Roberts is still in Las Vegas recovering but is feeling & looking better. Jake appeared with Sinn Bodhi at the Future Stars of Wrestling training school on Monday. He helped train the students & even ran the ropes himself. Jake had no problems & let the students know how he felt after putting them through the drills.

TNA Looking To Sign Mexican Luchadors
According to a report by TNAInsider.com, TNA officials appear to be on the lookout for more Mexico-based wrestlers.
Monterrey-based Llaves y Candados promotion officials revealed to the Mexican media that they have been in active discussions with TNA officials to bring in two more Luchadors, specifically El Hijo del Ninja & Rico Rodriguez. The following statement was issued by Diego Garcia, an official for both the promotion & for Arena Coliseo where the promotion is primarily based. The statement has been translated & paraphrased to English:
“We’ve been in constant contact with Bob Ryder and Andy Barton in regards to two Luchadors, specifically from our Llaves y Candados promotion. Most of the attention has been focused on El Hijo del Ninja & Rico Rodriguez.”
El Hijo del Ninja is a 3rd generation wrestler & trained by his dad, the original Ninja. He is also a cousin to the late Hector Garza, who happened to have one the very first TNA World X Cup. At this time not much is known about Rico Rodriguez.
