AEW Dynamite “Holiday Bash” special will air live tonight on TBS and emanate from the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas.
AEW personality Jeff Jarrett has said that Vince Russo is dealing with “serious mental health issues.”
In 1999, both Jarrett and Russo left the WWF for WCW, where Double-J became a multi-time World Champion.
Russo, who was responsible for some of the WWF’s biggest moments during the Attitude Era, has been lambasted for decades due to his booking during his WCW tenure.
Speaking on the latest episode of his “My World” podcast, Jarrett spoke about Russo and his alleged issues. He said,
“Candidly, he’s got serious, serious, and I’m speaking from experience, he’s got serious mental health issues. There’s no doubt in my mind, and I’ve said it for years.”

Michael Mansury, the former Vice President of Global Television Production for WWE, has been hired by AEW, and now changes are expected for AEW programming.
Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that part of the deal for Mansury being brought in is that Warner Brothers Discovery and AEW President Tony Khan have decided to change the look of the television programming.
It’s believed that the planned changes will go into effect at some point in January.
A person within WWE gave the following comments regarding Manusary being signed by AEW:
“Tremendous asset. Was being groomed to be the heir apparent to the Kevin Dunn throne, but moved up too quickly and much like David Sahadi and several others, that’s when Dunn covertly made his life very difficult.”

At Saturday’s post-ROH Final Battle 2022 media scrum, AEW President Tony Khan announced the return of HonorClub, which is where ROH’s weekly TV show will be featured.

The announcement was made during an afternoon filled with title changes, as Claudio Castagnoli regained the ROH World Championship from Chris Jericho, Athena taking the ROH Women’s World Championship from Mercedes Martinez, The Briscoes winning the ROH World Tag Team Championships back from FTR in their third matchup this year, Wheeler Yuta winning the ROH Pure Championship back from Daniel Garcia and the Gates of Agony defeating Dalton Castle & The Boys for the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships.

Khan also announced plans for a weekly ROH television show to be solidified at the top of next year. Jeff Jarrett currently serves as AEW’s Director of Business Development and is working closely on the live event side of things.
During the latest edition of his “My World” podcast, Jarrett promised some “cool things” that will be coming in 2023.
When talking about adding AEW live events to new markets, Jarrett said the company is “plowing the ground, and a lot of cool things coming in Q1 next year.” He said,
“Hopefully we get some announcements out sooner rather than later, but there’s a lot of cool things … The WWE is a 40, 50, 60-year-old company, the lineage goes back three or four generations. AEW, I mean people may or may not take this the right way, but in a lot of ways it’s no longer the embryo, it’s been born, but it’s still in the infant stages. It’s really cool.”
