Enzo Amore Hints at TNA Slammiversary Appearance And He Might Be Coming With A Anoa’i Family Member

Enzo Amore may have been one of WWE’s most polarizing figures, but that hasn’t stopped him from staying in the spotlight. Now going by “NZo” or “Real1” on the independent scene, the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion has been making waves — and it looks like those waves might be crashing straight into TNA Wrestling.

In a recent promo aired through Fourth Rope, the indie promotion where Amore currently reigns as Flyweight Champion, the outspoken star took direct aim at TNA ahead of this weekend’s Slammiversary event. In classic Enzo fashion, the promo blurred the lines between storyline and shoot, as he called out TNA for what he called “blatant disrespect.”

“I had to run through half of TNA to become this fly,” Amore said, hinting at past encounters with TNA talent. He even took a shot at Joe Hendry, claiming he’d “eat up Joe Hendry and spit him out,” before brushing off any suggestion that he’s “all in” with TNA. According to him, the chip on his shoulder outweighs anyone on their roster.

But perhaps the biggest talking point? Amore strongly hinted that he won’t be coming to Slammiversary alone.

“I think I’ll bring a Bishop. I know some good guys… some Good Brothers… I know plenty of people, okay?” Amore teased, suggesting that fans might see a few surprises at the pay-per-view. One name that stood out was Zilla Fatu, the Fourth Rope Heavyweight Champion and a member of the legendary Anoa’i family — the same bloodline behind Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Solo Sikoa.

With references to both known stars and possible alliances, Amore left things wide open, even joking that security would be more likely to back him up if he jumped the guardrail.

Slammiversary just got a whole lot more unpredictable — and if Enzo Amore has his way, it may also get a little more chaotic.

TNA President Carlos Silva Hints at Major TV Deal on the Horizon

Big changes could be coming for TNA Wrestling — and not just inside the ring.

During a recent appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, TNA President Carlos Silva revealed that the company is actively working on securing a new television deal, one that could shift the promotion onto a bigger platform and potentially change the way fans experience TNA every week.

“We want to find a bigger platform,” Silva told Helwani, emphasizing that negotiations have picked up serious momentum over the past two months. “I think we could be in a 60 to 90 day window to get something done.”

Since aligning with WWE earlier this year in a surprising multi-year partnership, TNA has seen its profile rise significantly. With that increased visibility comes the need for a broadcasting home that can match the company’s growing ambitions. While TNA has called AXS TV home since 2019 — dating back to its IMPACT Wrestling branding days — Silva hinted that a move could happen by year’s end if everything falls into place.

One of the biggest potential changes? The possibility of airing iMPACT! and other flagship TNA programming live every week, scrapping the traditional pre-taped format for a full calendar year of live shows. It would be a massive shift for a company that’s long relied on tapings, and a clear statement of intent about its future.

All of this comes just days before Slammiversary, TNA’s signature summer event, which goes down this Sunday at UBS Arena in Long Island. The buzz around the show is already at a fever pitch, especially with the shocking return of AJ Styles after an 11-year absence. The event also features crossover matches with WWE NXT stars, including a high-stakes Winner Takes All showdown between TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich and NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne — with both titles on the line. Plus, Trick Williams defends his TNA World Championship in a three-way clash against Joe Hendry and Mike Santana.

Between blockbuster matches and behind-the-scenes moves that could reshape the company’s future, TNA is making it clear: they’re not just playing the game — they’re looking to change it.
