Velvet Sky & Angelina Love Debut In ROH At G1 Supercard

Kelly Klein might be the new Women Of Honor champ, but she has some new enemies — former Impact Wrestling tag team The Beautiful People.

Following Kelly’s victory at G1 Supercard in which she became a two-time Women of Honor champion, Angelina Love and Velvet Sky made their surprise debut at G1 Supercard.

As they stared down Kelly Klein in the ring, Mandy Leon turned on Kelly to team with Angelina and Velvet. After a vicious beatdown on Kelly, they made their way up the ramp and a graphic came up for their new ROH faction called “The Allure.”

IWGP United States Champion Juice Robinson Accepts Bully Ray’s Open Challenge For The ROH/NJPW G-1 Supercard

IWGP United States Champion Juice Robinson was featured in a video posted to ROH’s Twitter page. In it, Robinson accepts WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray Dudley’s open challenge to a New York City Street Fight at the G-1 Supercard in Madison Square Garden on April 6.

In the video, featured below, Robinson can be seen saying, “Up until a couple of minutes ago, I didn’t have a match at MSG. No way that ROH and NJPW are going to put on the biggest show in the world’s most famous arena and me not have a match! So Bully [Ray], you issued an open challenge? New York City Street Fight – I don’t really care what it is. Sign me up, I’m there. It just so happens I’m sick and tired of your bull crap, too. So, two birds one stone.”

Bully responded to Robinson’s video, he can be seen below saying, “Madison Square Garden is my back yard; Madison Square Garden is where I made my legacy in this business. I’ve stolen the show at Madison Square Garden, I’ve main evented Madison Square Garden, my name has been on the marquee at Madison Square Garden, and I wrestled a little show called Wrestle-freaking-Mania at Madison Square Garden. What do you think is going to happen to Juice Robinson in Madison Square Garden?”

ROH Women Of Honor Star Tenille Dashwood Is Now A Free Agent

On her social media accounts, Tenille Dashwood announced she is now a free agent, writing “Free agent. Happy, healthy, & healed.” Dashwood’s ROH contract ended this month and it’s unclear at the moment if she’ll be re-signing with the promotion. Dashwood was initially placed in the Lifeblood stable, so it remains to be seen if that connection will continue or not.

Dashwood has been out of action for the past six months after undergoing shoulder surgery for dislocated and torn labrum. The former WWE Star also dealt with a full body flare up from the autoimmune disease, psoriasis.

Back in January, Dashwood commented about her health.

“Sometimes you really do have to take a step backwards (or many) to move forwards! I’ve spent the past few months focusing on being happy and healthy! I spent time with my family and friends and traveled. These things make me happy! I’ve rehabbed my shoulder diligently & implemented new eating habits (with a few exceptions over the holidays) to get my skin condition (psoriasis) & health better. Now look at me! Almost fully healed through diet!”

ROH Announces Flip Gordon Re-Injures Knee

Back in January, Flip Gordon sustained an MCL sprain at ROH Honor Reigns Supreme. He was initially expected to return to ROH on March 31 at Road to G1 Supercard in Baltimore.

Today, Ring of Honor released a statement that Flip Gordon re-injured his knee after competing in Northern Ireland for Over the Top Wrestling. The next day his knee was “locked up” and there’s concern his injury will keep him out for four to six months.

Below is ROH’s full statement:

Flip Gordon has re-injured his right knee and will not be able to appear at Road to G1 Supercard in Baltimore on March 31.Gordon, who suffered an MCL tear in his knee during a match in January and was medically cleared to return to in-ring action last week, competed in a match in Northern Ireland for Over the Top Wrestling on March 24. When he woke up the following morning, his knee was “locked up.”

He was able to make his flight home and visited his doctor this morning. There is concern that Gordon may have suffered a “bucket handle” meniscus tear, which would require surgery and keep him out of action for four-to-six months. The extent of the injury will not be known until the results of Gordon’s MRI exam are in.

Gordon will still appear at G1 Supercard Festival of Honor on Friday, April 5 at Madison Square Garden’s Hulu Theater as scheduled. For Full Schedule and Tickets, click here.
