The wrestling world is mourning the loss of Benjamin Satterly, known to fans around the globe as PAC. The AEW star has passed away at the age of 40.
All Elite Wrestling confirmed the news on Sunday night in a statement shared on social media.
“All Elite Wrestling is saddened to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, aka Pac,” AEW wrote. “A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and went on to perform for wrestling organizations all over the world, captivating fans with innovative high-flying moves and incredible in-ring ability. Pac signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019 and held multiple AEW Championships and competed in some of the most memorable matches in AEW history. Our condolences go out to Satterley’s family, friends and fans.”
At this time, no additional details regarding Satterly’s passing have been made public.
PAC wrestled what would become his final match on Saturday night at AEW All Out 2026. He challenged Andrade El Idolo for the AEW National Championship in the opening match of the pay-per-view.
Since joining AEW in 2019, PAC established himself as one of the promotion’s top in-ring performers. As a member of the Death Riders, he was a former AEW World Trios Champion and also made history as the inaugural AEW All-Atlantic Champion, a title later renamed the AEW International Championship.
Before his run in AEW, Satterly was well known to WWE fans as Adrian Neville. During his time with WWE, he captured the NXT Championship, NXT Tag Team Championship, and Cruiserweight Championship while earning a reputation as one of the most athletic competitors of his generation.
Satterly’s career spanned more than two decades and included appearances for promotions around the world. His performances and accomplishments left a lasting impact on the wrestling industry and earned him a dedicated following among fans worldwide.
