New Report Adds Context To Ludwig Kaiser Battery Arrest Ahead Of AAA Noche de los Grandes

More information has surfaced regarding Ludwig Kaiser’s recent battery arrest, and a new report is painting a very different picture from the version outlined in official court documents.

According to journalist Raj Giri, the incident that led to Kaiser’s arrest may have escalated after an alleged threat involving ICE was directed at Kaiser’s girlfriend, WWE and AAA personality Andrea Bazarte.

Giri reported that Kaiser and Bazarte were together in an elevator at the Paramount on Lake Eola Apartments in Orlando when the incident began. While the two were reportedly being affectionate, the report claims nothing appeared excessive or disruptive. The alleged victim, identified as Richard Reap, reportedly remained silent during the elevator ride.

However, after exiting on the 12th floor, Reap allegedly made a comment along the lines of, “You need to show some f—in’ respect before I call ICE on that b—h.” According to Giri’s account, Kaiser then exited the elevator and a physical confrontation followed. The report claims the altercation involved a scuffle, though no punches were allegedly thrown.

That account differs heavily from the details included in the arrest warrant issued by the Circuit Court of the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Orlando.

The warrant states the incident occurred on April 23, 2026, around 6:30 PM. Reap reportedly told authorities that Kaiser and Bazarte were behaving in an “uncontrollably intimate” manner inside the elevator. After asking the pair to “please have some manners” upon exiting, Reap alleged Kaiser responded violently by punching him multiple times, knocking him to the ground, and threatening additional harm.

Police documentation reportedly noted a scratch on the back of Reap’s head as well as visible redness that officers believed was consistent with a recent altercation.

Kaiser was arrested on May 20 and later released from Orange County Corrections after posting $1,000 bond.

The situation arrives at a difficult time professionally for Kaiser, who is currently involved in a featured WWE and AAA crossover storyline connected to the El Grande Americano angle. Bazarte has also played a visible role in the ongoing story.

Kaiser is currently scheduled to headline AAA Noche de los Grandes on May 30 at Arena Monterrey, where he is expected to face Chad Gable in a mask vs. mask match. With the arrest now public, questions have emerged regarding whether the case could affect Kaiser’s ability to travel internationally for the event.

AAA has already canceled the “Serenata para El Grande Americano” promotional event that had been planned for May 21 in Mexico City, though no official reason was given.

As of now, neither WWE nor AAA has publicly addressed the arrest or confirmed whether Kaiser’s status for Noche de los Grandes has changed.

The event card currently includes appearances by Bayley, Dominik Mysterio, Penta Zero Miedo, The War Raiders, Pagano, and Psycho Clown, and is scheduled to air on Fox and Fox One.
