You read the title correctly folks. It was just announced that newly cowned NXT women’s champion Bayley will defend her title against Sasha Banks in a 30 minute ironman match in the main event at the next NXT takeover special airing October 7th on the WWE NETWORK.
This will be the first ever ironman match featuring women in the history of WWE. For those unfamiliar with how ironman matches work the competitor with the most pinfall or submission victories at the end of the 30 minute mark will be declared the winner of the match.
If you watched Bayley vs Sasha Banks from NXT takeover Brooklyn you know that their next encounter will be one for the ages especially with a time frame of 30 mins!
Honestly guys this is a monumental moment for fans and supporters of Womens wrestling and it proves that the Divas Revolution is in full effect. I’m completely overcome with emotion right now and trust me when I say you’re not going to want to miss this moment in history
