Former NWA and WWE wrestler Sam Houston is visiting at RAW in Richmond, VA today. Emma is backstage at RAW in Richmond today. She has been absent since the news of her arrest got out. Mark Henry is also at RAW. With his return at Madison Square Garden over the weekend, it’s possible he makes his TV return tonight.

More Rumored Details About Sting On Raw Tonight
The Wrestling Observer tells us that we will not be disappointed. Sting WILL appear on RAW tonight according to the newsletter. However, it may not be in the way we think.
A vignette for his debut or for the video game featuring him will be on the show. The Observer also claims that Sting may appear via satellite to do a promo of sorts. That is huge for fans. Sting is currently the number one trend on Twitter.
Jim Ross Knows The “Sting” Secret For Tonight’s Raw…. But He’s Not Telling
Jim Ross has posted a new blog on his website. Regarding tonight’s “Sting” related teaser he said the following….
The questions that I get regarding the @Sting Tweet of 7-14-14 are often times comical. Some fans feel compelled that they MUST know what is going to occur tonight on RAW. Yes, I know but I’m not in the Don Jardine business so my suggestion is to simply watch RAW and find out for yourself. No matter what occurs, many will b—h tomorrow that it wasn’t what they wanted.
The first step of whatever Sting may or may not do with WWE begins tonight on RAW and where it ends is anyone’s guess. For me, it’s a no brainer but I’m arguably biased. Sting will be on the Ross Report podcast on Tuesday July 29.

CM Punk Special To Air Tuesday On WWE Network
There is no new WWE Countdown or WrestleMania Rewind currently scheduled for this coming Tuesday night on the WWE Network. Instead, WWE will air a two-hour Beyond The Ring special on CM Punk at 9pm EST. This is the documentary portion of WWE’s DVD on Punk. The synopsis reads like this:
“A look inside the life and career of the most controversial star of this generation from his early success in ECW to the top of the WWE.”
No SummerSlam For Rousey
F4WOnline reports that UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey won’t be appearing at WWE’s SummerSlam this year. Rousey wanted to get her whole ‘4 Horsewomen’ group on WWE TV but WWE only wanted her.
UFC President Dana White doesn’t want any UFC fighters appearing on WWE programming.

TNA Pursuing ROH Wrestlers, Matt Hardy’s ROH Status
TNA has been pursuing Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish, known as reDRagon. Their ROH contracts have expired & TNA wants them to come & work a fued with The Wolves.
Tonight might be Matt Hardy’s last night with ROH because they weren’t happy about him working TNA’s recent New York City tapings.
The competition between TNA & ROH continues as TNA has been calling up ROH talents without contracts. ROH is on a strict budget so a big talent bidding war is unlikely.

Hulk Hogan & Jimmy Hart were on hand to oversee the WWE signing of Japanese star KENTA earlier today in Osaka, Japan.

Matt Hardy posted this promo fro his appearance at ROH Aftershock this Saturday in Hopkins, Minnesota. Hardy will team with Adam Cole & Michael Bennett (with Maria Kanelis) against Michael Elgin & War Machine in the main event.
