Raw Recap: October 8 2012

John Cena addressed the WWE Universe. Cena said to the WWE Universe that with one arm, two arms, injured or not he would make his way to Hell In A Cell to challenge for the WWE Title. Cena said sometimes CM Punk isn’t a man & Punk should be a man & face him at Hell In A Cell.

Ryback vs Primo & Epico in a handicap match, Ryback wins.

R-Truth vs Brodus Clay, R-Truth announced that Little Jimmy is going through puberty & that they could always fight another night & Little Jimmy wanted to dance with the Funkadactyls, so they all danced. Mr. McMahon appeared on the Titan Tron & said that they would have to boogie their way to the locker room because it’s time for him to address the WWE Universe.

Mr. Vince McMahon gives the State of the WWE Address. CM Punk with Paul Heyman interrupts, Punk wanted McMahon to show him some respect. McMahon said Punk hasn’t earned respect like Bret Hart & “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. Punk said its a slap in his face for McMahon not to mention him as one of his best superstars. Punk slapped McMahon across the face & said now that’s a slap in your face. McMahon said he should fire Punk, but that would not be good enough. McMahon said he would fire Punk if he doesn’t fight him tonight. McMahon said Punk might beat his a** , but by the end of the night Punk was going to learn some respect.

Tag Team Championship Tournament #1 Contender Semi-Final Match: Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara vs The Prime Time Players, Mysterio & Sin Cara wins to advance to finals.

In the locker room, Heyman said to Punk that his match with McMahon isn’t a win win situation its a lose lose situation. Punk said he will find a way to win.

Sheamus vs Wade Barrett, Big Show came down to ring side, Sheamus wins by DQ after Tensai interfered in match, Tensai & Barrett was attacking Sheamus, the Sheamus Brogue kicked Tensai then Big Show threw Sheamus over the top rope.

CM Punk talked to AJ Lee in her office, Punk asked her if she thought it was a good idea for him to fight McMahon on her show. AJ said I know your scared to fight Cena, but are you also scared to fight Mr. McMahon?

Tyson Kidd vs Antonio Cesaro, Cesaro wins.

Dolph Ziggler & Alberto Del Rio vs Team Hell No, Team Hell No wins.

Larry King Now with his wife. The Miz was his guest, The Miz announced that it was his Birthday & wanted Larry King & his wife to lead the WWE Universe in singing Happy Birthday to him. Larry told him nobody cares that it was his Birthday. Larry brought out another guest, Kofi Kingston. Larry wife threw a cup of water on The Miz & Kofi & The Miz ended up in a fight.

Tag Team Championship Tournament #1 Contender Semi-Final Match: Rhodes Scholars vs Zack Ryder & Santino Marella, Rhodes Scholars win to advance to Finals. Rhodes Scholars vs Mysterio & Sin Cara next week in the finals.

Diva Championship Match: Diva Champ Eve vs Kaitlyn, Eve wins.

Josh Mathews told Del Rio that Randy Orton tweeted  he was going to be at Smackdown this Friday.

Mr. McMahon vs CM Punk, Punk attacked McMahon from behind before McMahon got into the ring. It was a brutal fight which involved beating each other with Kendo sticks, Punk wanted to retreat to the locker room, Ryback came to the ring CM Punk tried to escape, but Cena came down & threw Punk back into the ring, Ryback hit Punk with a clothesline & had him up to deliver the Shell Shock, but Punk escaped out of it & out of the ring. McMahon grabbed a mic & told Punk that he has to face either Cena or Ryback at Hell In A Cell & he has to decide by next week or he will decide for him.

Hulk Hogan & Sting in Hogans office discuss who to pick to fight Aces & 8s with Sting at Bound For Glory.

Al Snow apologized to Joey Ryan for laying his hands on him. Al Snow gave Joey Ryan a TNA contract, Ryan without reading it sign it. Al Snow informed Joey Ryan that the contract is only for one night at Bound For Glory & his opponent is Al Snow.

Kurt Angle tells Sting he can do double duty at Bound For Glory & fight Aces & 8s with Sting. Bully Ray tells Sting he wants to Fight Aces & 8s.

Television Championship Match: Television Champ Samoa Joe vs Rob Van Dam, Samoa Joe wins.

Chavo Guerrero Jr., Hernandez & AJ Styles in the locker room discuss their tag team match, Christopher Daniels & Kazarian came in tells AJ that they heard Kurt Angle tell Sting he doesn’t want to be in the Tag Team Championship Triple Threat Match at Bound For Glory & that he doesn’t need AJ’s help to beat anybody & can beat Chavo & Hernandez all by himself.

Chavo Guerrero Jr. vs Kurt Angle, Chavo wins.

X Division Championship Match: X Division Champ Zema Ion vs Douglas Williams, Zema Ion wins, referee reverses decision because Zema Ion wouldn’t let go of submission hold. Zema Ion is still champion.

Bruce Pritchard shows D’Lo a video of Matt Morgan sneaking into the ring & kicking a TNA referee in the face, & tells D’Lo that it can’t happen ever again.

James Storm came down to the ring & says he isn’t coming to Bound For Glory to prove that he is a better wrestler & better fighter than Bobby Roode, he is coming to prove he is a better man. Roode interupts as Storm was talking aboutKing Mo being the special enforcer for their match at Bound For Glory. Roode says that he doesn’t care about King Mo & neither should Storm. Roode says that nobody can stop him not even King Mo because this is hi world & he is the it factor of profesional wrestling & if King Mo was here he would say it to his face. King Mo came out & confronts Roode & shoves him down. King Mo wnt to the ring & Storm raises King Mo’s hand & gives him a beer to celebrate.

Hogan wrote down his choice for fight with Aces & 8s, Sting tells Hogan he needs to see Bully Ray’s match before deciding.

Aces & 8s with Joseph Park bound to a chair says they are ready to die for the brotherhood & ask Hogan if he could say the same & in 10 days they will reveal who their 2 are.

Triple Threat Match: Bully Ray vs Jeff Hardy vs Austin Aries, Bully Ray wins.

Hogan along with Sting announced that they have chosen Mr. Anderson to fight Aces & 8s with Sting at Bound For Glory. Aces & 8s attacked Mr. Anderson. Bully Ray came to the ring & wants Sting to convince Hogan to choose him to fight Aces & 8s. Sting wants Bully Ray, Hogan agrees & shakes hand with Bully Ray. Sting & Bully Ray vs Aces & 8s at Bound For Glory.

 

 

 

 

 

Raw Recap: October 1 2012

CM Punk with Paul Heyman Come down to the ring. CM Punk accused John Cena of hitting him with a lead pipe from behind & accused Mick Foley of showing him a lack of respect. Punk said he listened to what Foley had to say last week & he still will not face Cena at Hell In A Cell. Paul Heyman called for AJ Lee To be fired for slapping him last week, because it is a violation of the WWE Board of Directors  orders that AJ is not to put her hands on any WWE employee. Heyman then suggest that he should be GM. Vickie Guerrero & Dolph Ziggler made their way to the ring, Vickie thinks she should be the GM. Ziggler suggest that Vickie & Heyman should team up & be Co-GMs. AJ then Came to the ring an announced that the WWE Board of Directors has placed her on probation & she has

hired an Executive Coach to help her through an evaluation period. Then Daniel Bryan came down soon followed by his Team Hell No tag partner Kane & of coarse the end up arguing who is the Tag Team Champions & Punk Ziggler also argue. AJ regained control & made a match for the main event, CM Punk & Dolph Ziggler vs Team Hell No.

Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders Tournament match, Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara vs Primo & Epico, Mysterio & Sin Cara win.

Brodus Clay vs Antonio Cesaro, Cesaro wins.Backstage AJ introduced her Executive Coach to Kaitlyn & apologized to Kaitlyn then laughed & said that she isn’t sorry at all.

Zack Ryder vs The Miz, The Miz wins.

Ryback vs Tensai, Ryback wins.Sheamus & Big Show have a World Championship Debate with Booker T as the moderator.

Eve vs Beth Phoenix, Eve wins.

Santino Marella vs Heath Slater, Marella wins by DQ,  Marella was attacked by The Band(Slater, Drew McIntyre, & Jinder Mahal).

Sheamus vs Damien Sandow, Sheamus wins.

Alberto Del Rio vs Kofi Kingston, Del Rio wins.

Jim Ross Appreciation Night, CM Punk interrupts, Punk wanted J.R. to help him teach the WWE Universe about respect by telling them that Punk is the best in the World. J.R. refused, he said he would consider doing so if Punk would fight Cena at Hell In A Cell & beats him. Punk wanted J.R. to fight him or leave the ring & up the ramp & said real men don’t walk away from a fight. Ryback makes his way down to the ring to confront CM Punk & Punk walks away.Backstage AJ told her Executive Coach to get out of her arena, because she thinks in order to coach you have needed to be a player.

Team Hell No vs CM Punk with AJ as the special referee, AJ ejects both Heyman & Vickie from ring side, Ziggler left with Vickie leaving Punk all by himself, Team Hell No wins.

Live on Raw tonight (8/7 CT on USA), SmackDown General Manager Booker T will moderate a RAWActive World Championship debate announcement between World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus and No. 1 contender Big Show at WWE Hell in a Cell, and members of the WWE Universe are invited to be part of the ceremony!

Booker T has called upon members of the WWE Universe to tweet and Tout questions for both the champion and challenger — several of which will be selected and posed to the Superstars on-air tonight! According to Booker T, fans can submit their RAWActive inquiries using the hashtag #SheamusShow.

The World’s Largest Athlete won the right to face Sheamus at WWE Hell in a Cell Oct. 28 after defeating Randy Orton on Friday’s SmackDown. What will happen tonight when two of WWE’s most dominant super-heavyweights stand within feet of one another? How will they respond to the WWE Universe’s assuredly provocative inquiries?

With an injured John Cena vehemently declaring he will be at Hell in a Cell, and WWE Champion CM Punk now finding himself in Ryback’s sights, what will happen on Monday’s Raw? Here are five key things to look for as the month of October rolls in with Raw episode 1,010.

 

What will Ryback do next?

When WWE Champion CM Punk was still feeling the effects of being whacked with a lead pipe by John Cena, he took out his frustrations on Mick Foley. The stare-down lasted only moments before Raw went off the air.

Will AJ have an answer to Heyman’s wedding proposal?

To most men, getting slapped in the face after asking a woman to marry you is a clear “no.” But will Paul Heyman take AJ Lee’s slap to the face as a “no” to his marriage proposal? Just how determined is he in pursuing her?

As for AJ, technically she didn’t say “no.” Could she possibly be mulling over Heyman’s offer? Certainly, they’d make quite the power couple.

 

Is Big Show done making a statement?

Well, that didn’t take long. On Raw, Big Show returned and decimated big Brodus Clay and Tensai. On SmackDown, he knocked out Randy Orton to become the No. 1 contender to the World Heavyweight Championship.

With his sights now set on World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus, what will The World’s Largest Athlete do next? Will he be content knowing it’s only a matter of time before he challenges for the World Title? Will he continue to destroy any and all who stand in his way?

 

Is Team Hell No’s time running out?

Last week on Raw, the newly formed Team Rhodes Scholars attacked the WWE Tag Team Champions, Team Hell No. (WATCH) Then in a Tag Team Tournament that kicked off on SmackDown, Team Rhodes Scholars found themselves firmly in the championship hunt after claiming the first victory in the ongoing tournament.

Considering their anger issues, is Team Hell No’s time at the top ticking? Will Dr. Shelby’s treatment help them stick together? With a target now on their backs, how will the WWE Tag Team Champions respond?

 

Will Punk be looking for payback against Cena?

After John Cena was attacked once already by WWE Champion CM Punk earlier this month in a Falls Count Anywhere Match against Alberto Del Rio (WATCH), Cena came prepared last week, wielding a lead pipe … and he didn’t hesitate to use it against the WWE Champion.
