The Undertaker Returns On RAW and Confronts Shawn Michaels, Sends Warning To Triple H (Video)

Image result for The Undertaker sends a chilling warning to Triple H and Shawn Michaels

The Undertaker (video below) made his return to WWE RAW last night in Columbus.

Undertaker confronted WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels, who issued a warning to Undertaker about facing Triple H at the upcoming Super Show-Down event in Australia.

While promoting that upcoming match on October 6, the two teased a possible match with Michaels stating he stayed retired out of respect for Undertaker.

Excerpt courtesy of Mike Tedesco’s RAW recap:

“Michaels says he is a man of his word. Somebody had to restore faith in the system and stand and be committed to the words they spoke. Anyone can talk, but they go back on their word after a while. Michaels doesn’t do that. Michaels has stuck to his retirement because he’s a man of his word. Michaels has stayed retired out of respect for the system, the fans, and for The Undertaker. A “One more match” chant picks up. Michaels says every time he steps into an arena, he hears that chant. Undertaker cuts him off and asks if he’s really talking about respect. Michaels says for nearly a decade they’ve clamored for one more match. Half the locker room has beaten down his door for a dream match against him at WrestleMania. Michaels has turned down millions of dollars for one more match. Michaels has stayed retired out of respect for The Undertaker. Another “One more match” chant picks up. Undertaker just stares at Michaels. Michaels turns his back, and Undertaker asks him if it’s respect or fear. Michaels turns and looks furiously at him.”

Backstage News On Why It Took WWE Almost One Year To Grant Neville’s Release

Image result for Neville wwe

Regarding Neville officially being released from WWE this past week, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that he is free to go anywhere he wants because there is no non-compete clause in effect.

Neville, who had been unhappy with WWE creative, tried getting his release when he quit the company back in October 2017. WWE officials did not grant the release when he quit because they didn’t want to set a precedent where talents under contract could walk out and go to New Japan Pro Wrestling, which is where it was expected Neville would end up. Neville’s contract was then frozen for almost one year before being released last week.

There’s obvious speculation on Neville appearing at All In this weekend but that has not been confirmed.

Drew Gulak demands another championship opportunity:

Despite a losing effort against WWE Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander at SummerSlam, Drew Gulak has not given up on his quest for a better WWE 205 Live. Believing The Soul of WWE 205 Live got lucky at The Biggest Event of the Summer, Gulak announced his intentions for a rematch.

However, The Philadelphia Stretcher was not satisfied with just waiting for an answer from WWE 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick. As Akira Tozawa prepared to face Colin Delaney, they were attacked by The Brian Kendrick, Gentleman Jack Gallagher and Gulak. Calling out Alexander, Gulak demanded a rematch for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship and declared there would be no peace on WWE 205 Live until he got what he wanted. When the champion confronted Gulak, Maverick and WWE officials did their best to diffuse the situation, but Gulak slipped away when Alexander made his way into the ring.

Alexander has never been one to back down from a challenge and could request that Maverick grant the rematch in an effort to finally silence Gulak.

Last Night On RAW: Kevin Owens Quits, HBK, Trish Stratus, Bella Twins, Braun Strowman

Below are some interesting things from last night’s WWE RAW in Toronto:

Kevin Owens, who suffered defeat moments earlier to Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins, grabbed a live microphone after his match and sat in the center of the ring to state, “I quit” before walking out.

It was announced that “HBK” Shawn Michaels will be on RAW next week to give his take on The Undertaker vs. Triple H for the last time ever on Oct. 6 in Australia at WWE Super Show-Down.

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus appeared on RAW to confront Elias after insulting her hometown of Toronto. Stratus then politely asked Elias to leave the ring before the superstar singer remarked, “I don’t date women in their 60’s.” This was met with a smack across the face from Stratus. She made note that in about two months from tonight she will be stepping back in between the ropes to face Alexa Bliss at the Evolution event in New York. Trish stayed ringside while Natalya squared off with Alicia Fox, who was accompanied by Alexa Bliss and Mickie James, and was also featured in a backstage segment with The Bella Twins.

In a backstage segment with Ronda Rousey, Natalya and Trish Stratus, The Bella Twins announce that they will return to in-ring action next week on RAW.

Braun Strowman announced that he is cashing in MITB on Sept. 16 at Hell in a Cell pay-per-view against Universal Champion Roman Reigns in a Hell in a Cell Match.

Later in the main event Strowman teamed with Reigns against Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre. Strowman turned on Reigns and gave him a beat down with Ziggler and McIntyre.
