WWE announced Jimmy Hart will be inducting Hillbilly Jim into this year’s WWE Hall of Fame. Below is WWE’s full announcement:

“Hillbilly Jim often found himself standing across the ring from nefarious Superstars managed by Jimmy Hart, but in the years since their heyday, the relationship between the two men changed. Their new dynamic will be on display when Hart inducts Hillbilly Jim into the WWE Hall of Fame during the 2018 Induction Ceremony, streaming live on WWE NetworkFriday, April 6, at 8 ET/5 PT.Hillbilly Jim arrived on the scene in WWE in late 1984 as the protégé of Hulk Hogan, which made him a prime target for Hart and his collection of evildoers. The man from Mudlick, Ky., did battle with the likes of The Honky Tonk Man, Greg “The Hammer” Valentine and Earthquake, all as “The Mouth of The South” lurked at ringside, ready to help his charges gain victory by any means necessary.

But after the two men stepped away from the ring, they grew to become close friends. Hart and Hillbilly Jim even lived under the same roof on the hit WWE Network reality show “Legends House.”

What stories will Hart regale the WWE Universe with when he inducts Hillbilly Jim into sports-entertainment’s most hallowed hall? Find out during the 2018 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, streaming live on WWE Network Friday, April 6, at 8 ET/5 PT!”

WWE has announced that Big Show will induct Mark Henry into the WWE Hall of Fame this coming weekend.

It is a titanic task to induct The World’s Strongest Man into the WWE Hall of Fame. The two titans have engaged in numerous battles over the years, including an epic rivalry over the World Heavyweight Championship in 2011. Outside the ring, the two veterans have become close friends. Their strong bond makes Big Show the perfect man for the task of inducting Henry.

“I’ve spent a lot of time going up and down the road with Mark Henry,” Big Show told WWE.com. “I’ve had battles with him, and I know what kind of a human being and community leader he is. I can’t think of anyone more deserving of the WWE Hall of Fame. It is my honor to induct my friend.”

Below is video of “Road Dogg” Brian James talking to Renee Young at last night’s SmackDown, discussing how he will induct Jeff Jarrett into the WWE Hall of Fame during WrestleMania 34 weekend in New Orleans. BG called it an honor and a privilege, and said the two have been really good friends as of late. Renee asks Dogg if he can sing a few lines from “With My Baby Tonight” but he gives her a bunch of excuses instead. Dogg does tease a potential performance at the WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Road Dogg To Induct Jeff Jarrett Into WWE Hall of Fame

WWE just announced that “Road Dogg” Brian James will be inducting Jeff Jarrett into the WWE Hall of Fame during WrestleMania 34 Weekend in New Orleans.

Road Dogg was at ringside for some of Jeff Jarrett’s biggest triumphs inside the squared circle, so it’s only right that he be the person to induct Double J into the WWE Hall of Fame during the 2018 Induction Ceremony on Friday, April 6, during WrestleMania 34 Week.

Road Dogg arrived in WWE in 1994, then known as The Roadie, acting as Jarrett’s gofer as he tried to use WWE to springboard to country music superstardom. In addition to taking care of Double J’s musical endeavors, Road Dogg wasn’t afraid to meddle in Jarrett’s affairs in the ring, either. That led to the beginning of Road Dogg’s in-ring career with WWE, which saw him go on to become a six-time tag team champion and an Intercontinental Champion.

Of course, there’s also musical controversy between the two, as it was also revealed that Road Dogg provided the vocals for Jarrett’s debut single, “With My Baby Tonight.”

What will Road Dogg say when he introduces the six-time Intercontinental Champion and four-time WCW Champion for enshrinement into the WWE Hall of Fame? Find out during the 2018 Induction Ceremony, streaming live on WWE Network Friday, April 6, at 8 ET/5 PT!

Paul Heyman To Induct Goldberg Into WWE Hall of Fame

WWE announced Paul Heyman will induct Goldberg into this year’s WWE Hall of Fame. Here’s their full announcement:

Paul Heyman has been at ringside for some of Goldberg’s most intense battles in the squared circle. Now, Brock Lesnar’s advocate will be the person who inducts the former WCW, World Heavyweight and Universal Champion into the WWE Hall of Fame during the 2018 Induction Ceremony on Friday, April 6, during WrestleMania 34 Week.

Heyman had a bird’s eye view of the type of carnage Goldberg could create inside the ring when he returned in 2016 to challenge Lesnar to a Mega Match at Survivor Series in Toronto. He was stunned when Goldberg bulldozed through The Beast in under two minutes to win his first match in 12 years. Heyman also witnessed the demolition derby for the Universal Championship between Goldberg and his client on The Grandest Stage of Them All at WrestleMania 33 last year. Though Goldberg was not victorious on that night, he certainly made a major impression on Lesnar and his advocate.

Heyman is never one to pull any punches or mince words. What will he have to say when he presents Goldberg to the WWE Universe to receive sports-entertainment’s highest honor? Find out during the 2018 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, streaming live on WWE Network Friday, April 6, at 8 ET/5 PT!

Molly Holly to induct Ivory into the WWE Hall of Fame

WWE has announced that Molly Holly will induct Ivory into the WWE Hall of Fame during WrestleMania 34 Weekend.

Molly Holly was a rival and partner of Ivory during their illustrious in-ring careers in WWE. Now, Holly will have the distinction of inducting Ivory into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2018 on Friday, April 6, in New Orleans during WrestleMania 34 Week.

The two were trailblazers in the squared circle, creating a path that helped lead to today’s Women’s Evolution. It is perfectly fitting that Holly, a two-time WWE Women’s Champion, inducts Ivory, a three-time titleholder, into sports-entertainment immortality.

What kind of stories will Holly have to share about her friend and rival? Find out during the 2018 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, streaming live on WWE Network Friday, April 6, at 8 ET/5 PT!

Edge & Christian To Induct The Dudley Boyz Into The WWE Hall of Fame

WWE issued the following:

The Dudley Boyz and Edge & Christian took part in some of the most extreme battles in WrestleMania history, pushing each other to the absolute limits of what they could do with tables, ladders and chairs. This WrestleMania, the mood when the two pairs are in the same building will be a little less intense.

The duo that reeks of awesomeness will have the honor of inducting Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley into the WWE Hall of Fame during the 2018 Induction Ceremony on Friday, April 6, from New Orleans, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network.

Edge & Christian and The Dudleys, along with The Hardy Boyz, were inextricably linked with each other during WWE’s Attitude Era, as they set new bars for what Superstars were willing to do in the chase for glory. Their Ladder Match at WrestleMania 2000 left the WWE Universe in awe, as the competitors risked their bodies in pursuit of the World Tag Team Championship. The teams topped themselves one year later at WrestleMania X-Seven in the bout they became known for: Tables, Ladders and Chairs. After the demolition derby of a match, they somehow survived, emerging from underneath mangled steel and splintered tables, having created a legacy that Superstars are still trying to top today.

In New Orleans, though, Edge & Christian will get to share stories about their rivals from inside the ring and out in their inimitable fashion when The Dudley Boyz take their place in sports-entertainment history.

What will Edge & Christian have to say about The Dudley Boyz? Find out during the 2018 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, streaming live on WWE Network Friday, April 6, at 8 ET/5 PT.

Mark Henry To Be Inducted Into The WWE Hall Of Fame Class Of 2018

Image result for mark henry wwe hall of fame

WWE announced that Mark Henry will inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Henry joins Goldberg, The Dudley Boyz, Ivory, Jeff Jarrett, Hillbilly Jim, Kid Rock and Warrior Award recipient Jarrius “JJ” Robertson as those being honored during the 2018 Induction Ceremony on Friday, April 6, during WrestleMania 34 Week in New Orleans.

WWE issued the following:

Mark Henry took pride in giving countless Superstars a vicious induction into his Hall of Pain. During WrestleMania 34 Week, The World’s Strongest Man will enter a completely different hall.

As first reported by USA Today, Henry will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2018. He joins Goldberg, The Dudley Boyz, Ivory, Jeff Jarrett, Hillbilly Jim, Kid Rock and Warrior Award recipient Jarrius “JJ” Robertson as those being honored during the 2018 Induction Ceremony on Friday, April 6, during WrestleMania 34 Week in New Orleans.

Henry’s journey in professional sports began in the world of powerlifting. After becoming a prodigy in the weight room as a high-schooler, Henry broke out at the 1992 Summer Olympics. One year later, he won gold, silver and bronze medals at the 1993 Pan-American Games. His unbelievable power caught the eye of WWE officials, who signed him to become a Superstar in 1996. Shortly after competing in the 1996 Summer Olympics, Henry made his in-ring debut at In Your House: Mind Games, defeating fellow WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler.

Henry excelled inside the squared circle as a member of The Nation of Domination alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and also became the notorious ladies’ man known as “Sexual Chocolate” during WWE’s over-the-top Attitude Era. While with WWE, Henry would foray into strongman competition and find great success, winning the 2002 Arnold Strongman Classic. Back in WWE, The World’s Strongest Man would use the power that won him that contest, pulling off incredible feats of strength for his fellow Superstars and the WWE Universe.

Soon, though, Henry would discover a mean streak like no other and unleash his rage on the WWE roster. Henry carved a path of destruction through Superstars like The Undertaker, Kurt Angle and Rey Mysterio before making his way to ECW and capturing the brand’s top championship in his first match, defeating Kane and Big Show in the process. After returning to SmackDown, Henry’s penchant for punishment was given a name – his opponents weren’t just being beaten down; they were being inducted into The Hall of Pain.

Henry’s appetite for destruction brought him one of sports-entertainment’s top prizes – the World Heavyweight Championship, which he won by defeating Randy Orton at Night of Champions 2011. As The World’s Strongest Man’s career approached the two-decade mark, rumors of Henry’s retirement began to travel through the WWE Universe. Henry even played into the rumors, appearing on Monday Night Raw in June 2013 for what appeared to be a tearful retirement speech as John Cena watched on, though he shocked everyone by nearly driving Cena through the mat with his World’s Strongest Slam, boldly declaring “I’ve got a lot left in the tank!”

Henry continued competing with WWE through WrestleMania 33, while also taking on a new role as a talent scout and mentor, helping to prepare competitors like Braun Strowman, Baron Corbin, Apollo Crews and Bianca Belair for the rigors of the squared circle.

For the devastation he caused inside the ring, as well as the work he does to help the next generation of Superstars, there is no bigger honor for Mark Henry than to become The World’s Strongest Hall of Famer.

The 2018 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony takes place on Friday, April 6, in New Orleans at the Smoothie King Center during WrestleMania 34 Week. Tickets are available now on Ticketmaster.
