Stu Grayson Returns To AEW On Rampage

Stu Grayson returned to AEW on the October 14 episode of Rampage, which was taped in Toronto, Canada, and reunited with his Dark Order stablemates. The group huddled during a backstage segment, and an extra hand appeared. The camera panned back, showing that Grayson was the newcomer. Grayson’s return could be a boon for the stable, which has lost multiple members in recent months. Alan Angels left the company in June, and Anna Jay aligned with the Jericho Appreciation Society in July.

Grayson previously departed the company after his contract expired in April, and he started taking independent bookings in May.  Grayson hasn’t wrestled in AEW since the May 2 episode of AEW Dark: Elevation.

Exalted One To Be Revealed On Next Week’s AEW Dynamite

The Dark Order’s Exalted One will be revealed on next week’s AEW Dynamite, which takes place from the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, New York.

Over the past several weeks speculation has led to numerous possible names for the group’s leader: Christopher Daniels, Matt Hardy, Lance Archer, Raven, and Luke Harper/Brodie Lee (also a Rochester native). We’ll find out next week who is the head of the stable.

New AEW Teaser For The Dark Order Spells Out “Matt Hardy”

AEW posted the latest teaser for the reveal of The Exalted One of The Dark Order last night, adding to the rumors and speculation on Matt Hardy being brought in for the group.

As we’ve noted, Matt is expected to sign with AEW but that has not been confirmed, and there’s no solid word yet on what he will be doing if he does sign with the promotion.

You can see that the first letter of each line in the new teaser spells, “MATT HARDY.”

The teaser reads like this:

MADE FROM THE VOID OF HOPELESSNESS
AND FROM TIME SPENT AWAY WITH THE SHADOWS
THIS IS WHAT IT TOOK FOR ME TO ARRIVE
THE CALLING….HELLO?
ARE YOU THERE?
READY & WAITING
DARK ORDER WELCOMES ME
YOU ARE HERE

Hardy, who is now a free agent after his WWE contract expired last weekend, has not acknowledged the AEW teaser as of this writing. You can see the full tweet below:
