The road to Stand & Deliver is heating up, and this week’s episode of WWE NXT delivered plenty of action, surprises, and hard-hitting battles. From a major championship change to an all-out street fight, here’s everything that went down on the March 11, 2025, edition of NXT.

Hardy Boyz Retain TNA Tag Titles in Thrilling Opener

The legendary Hardy Boyz kicked off the night in style, putting their TNA World Tag Team Championships on the line against the high-flying duo of Axiom & Nathan Frazer (Fraxiom). The challengers brought the fight, overwhelming the veterans with their speed and aerial offense, including a spectacular avalanche Spanish Fly-Phoenix Splash combo that nearly secured the win.

However, the Hardys proved why they’re still one of the best teams in the business. A miscommunication between Axiom and Frazer allowed Jeff Hardy to capitalize, hitting the Swanton Bomb on Frazer to retain the gold.

Jordynne Grace Outlasts Roxanne Perez

Roxanne Perez had a game plan against Jordynne Grace—targeting the knee and trying to keep the powerhouse grounded. However, Grace’s raw strength proved too much. The TNA Knockouts Champion weathered the storm and delivered the Juggernaut Driver for the decisive victory.

Oba Femi Retains NXT Title in Brutal Battle with Moose

In a champion vs. champion showdown, NXT Champion Oba Femi put his title on the line against TNA X-Division Champion Moose, and the match was every bit as physical as expected. The two powerhouses traded heavy blows, with Moose even driving Oba through the announce table.

Despite the punishment, Femi dug deep and sealed the victory with a thunderous powerbomb to remain NXT Champion. Before the match, he even had a surprise backstage encounter with The Undertaker, who gave him some words of encouragement—an endorsement that speaks volumes about Femi’s future.

Je’Von Evans Survives a War in Street Fight Against Ethan Page

“All Ego” Ethan Page and Je’Von Evans took their rivalry to the extreme in a chaotic Street Fight. Chairs, tables, and steel steps were all in play as both men threw everything at each other.

After a brutal back-and-forth battle, Evans sealed the win with a springboard Ace Crusher onto a chair. However, his celebration was short-lived—mysterious masked figures stormed the ring and left Evans laid out in a four-man powerbomb. The identity of this faction remains unknown, but their impact was immediately felt.

Stephanie Vaquer Wins Title-for-Title Main Event, Becomes Double Champion

In the night’s highly anticipated main event, NXT Women’s Champion Giulia and NXT Women’s North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer put their respective titles on the line in a winner-take-all showdown. The two warriors left it all in the ring, with Giulia coming close to victory multiple times, including locking in a triangle choke and connecting with Arrivederci.

But Vaquer wouldn’t be denied. After surviving the onslaught, she delivered back-to-back SBBs to put Giulia down for the three-count. With the win, Stephanie Vaquer not only retained the North American title but also captured the NXT Women’s Championship, cementing her place as one of the top stars in the division.

Other Highlights from NXT:

  • Jaida Parker received advice from Mickie James, who told her to seize her moment.
  • Tony D’Angelo and Stacks Lorenzo had a tense conversation about leadership and an upcoming trios match.
  • The Undertaker told Oba Femi that he’s been watching him and he’s impressed and to go defend his yard
  • Trick Williams ambushed Eddy Thorpe ahead of their upcoming NXT Underground match.
  • Shawn Spears’ faction, The Culling, got a hype video, teasing their growing presence in NXT.

Final Thoughts

This week’s NXT was packed with action and major developments. Stephanie Vaquer’s historic win headlines the night, while Oba Femi and the Hardy Boyz continued their dominant reigns. Meanwhile, Je’Von Evans may have won his match, but a dangerous new faction has emerged.

With Stand & Deliver approaching, expect the intensity to keep rising in the weeks to come. Stay tuned to Wrestling News Blog for all your latest NXT updates!

Update On Cora Jade Following WWE NXT Match Stoppage

Last night’s NXT saw an unfortunate turn of events when Cora Jade’s match against Jordynne Grace had to be stopped early due to a legitimate injury. The abrupt ending left fans concerned, especially given Jade’s history of knee issues, but the 24-year-old quickly took to social media to clarify that her knees were fine—she had simply been “rocked” during the match.

According to Fightful Select, the injury was related to Jade’s head, leading many to speculate that she may have suffered a concussion. However, no official confirmation has been made regarding the severity of the injury or whether it will sideline her for any length of time.

The timing of this setback couldn’t be worse for Jade, who only recently returned from a devastating knee injury that kept her out for nine months. In January 2024, just days before her birthday, she tore her ACL, MCL, and meniscus in her left knee, forcing her to undergo an extensive recovery process. Though she made an early return to the ring, she has been competing with a knee brace ever since.

Beyond potentially missing ring time, this latest injury puts Jade’s upcoming match against TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich at risk. The two were scheduled to clash at TNA Sacrifice on March 14, with Slamovich’s title on the line. Adding to the hype, Slamovich was even spotted in the crowd during Jade’s match against Grace, building anticipation for their showdown. Now, with Jade’s status uncertain, fans will have to wait and see whether the match goes on as planned.

Stay tuned for updates on Cora Jade’s condition and what this means for her highly anticipated title opportunity.

Report: Reason Why WWE NXT Booked Double Title Match For Roadblock

A major champion in WWE NXT is reportedly dealing with an injury, which may explain the high-stakes title match set for NXT Roadblock.

On this week’s episode of NXT, General Manager Ava announced that NXT Women’s Champion Giulia will face Women’s North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer in a rare double-title match, with both championships on the line. However, new reports suggest that this match may have been booked due to an injury concern.

Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live revealed that one of the competitors is currently banged up and needs time off, though he didn’t specify which one. However, WrestlePurists and Ibou of Self Made later confirmed on social media that Giulia is the one dealing with an injury. PWInsider Elite also reported that the NXT Women’s Champion is hurt, though the exact nature of her injury remains unknown. Despite this, multiple sources confirm that Giulia is still scheduled to compete at Roadblock.

Giulia has been on a dominant run since capturing the NXT Women’s Championship from Roxanne Perez at New Year’s Evil on January 7. She successfully defended the title against Perez, Bayley, and Cora Jade in a Fatal 4-Way at Vengeance Day, and her upcoming clash with Vaquer marks her second defense.

With both titles at stake, Roadblock could significantly shake up NXT’s women’s division. However, with Giulia reportedly competing through an injury, fans will be watching closely to see how it impacts the match—and what the future holds for her reign.

Matt Hardy On The Hardy Boyz WWE Return Tonight On NXT

The Hardy Boyz are heading back to WWE—this time for their NXT debut. The legendary tag team, currently holding the TNA World Tag Team Championship, is set to take on No Quarter Catch Crew on Tuesday’s episode of NXT. This marks Matt and Jeff Hardy’s first WWE match in years, with Matt last competing in 2020 and Jeff departing in 2021.

Since leaving WWE, the brothers had stints in AEW and later TNA, where they are now a key part of the promotion’s resurgence. Their NXT appearance is the latest crossover in the growing partnership between WWE’s developmental brand and TNA, which has seen talent like Joe Hendry and Moose step into the NXT ring.

Matt Hardy on the Last-Minute Booking

Speaking on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt revealed that this match came together at the last minute but sees it as a major opportunity for both parties.

“It’s very cool because… NXT and TNA have this partnership right now… It has been so beneficial for TNA and it has also been so beneficial for NXT,” Hardy explained.

Matt also emphasized that the Hardys’ popularity remains strong despite the ups and downs of their careers.

“Our popularity is great right now. It’s been off the charts… The people have a connection with us and that connection is very strong. It hasn’t faded away.”

The Hardys’ AEW Run and Moving Forward

While their return to WWE programming is an exciting development, Matt reflected on their time in AEW, admitting they never fully regained momentum there. Jeff’s DUI arrest in 2022 led to a suspension, and according to Matt, it may have permanently damaged their standing with AEW President Tony Khan.

“I think we’re still a draw… I think we could’ve been that in AEW,” Matt said. “I understand, my brother, he made that mistake. I understand Tony didn’t feel good about trusting him… It just didn’t happen [there].”

Now, with a fresh opportunity in WWE’s NXT, the Hardys have a chance to remind fans why they are one of the most iconic tag teams in wrestling history. Whether this is a one-off appearance or the start of something bigger remains to be seen, but one thing’s for sure—the Hardy Boyz are still extreme and ready to thrill the WWE Universe once again.

Stay tuned for NXT this Tuesday to see the Hardys in action!
