Karl Anderson And Luke Gallows Moved To RAW

Looks like the Superstar Shake-Up is continuing for a third week, as Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows have been swapped to Raw.

The move was announced during Raw when The Good Brothers made their entrance for a match against The Usos. Unfortunately, it was a losing effort for Anderson and Gallows.

The two veterans were last used on TV in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 35. They were last on the Raw brand in 2018.

Lets hope a couple of good brothers get a pushki on RAW.

UPDATE:

Regarding the roster move, PWInsider reports that WWE officials decided on the change a few weeks back on the first night of the Superstar Shakeup, but didn’t make it official until last night.

It was also noted that there has been no change in the contract status of Gallows and Anderson. They are still scheduled to finish up with WWE this September when their contracts expire.

It was reported in mid-March that Gallows and Anderson were at a standstill in their WWE contract negotiations, which led to them being pulled from scheduled live events. The Good Brothers have reportedly turned down multi-million dollar deals as they are not happy with how they’ve been used in recent years.

Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson At A Standstill In Contract Talks With WWE

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson are currently at a standstill in their contract negotiations with WWE, according to PWInsider.

The issue has led to The Good Brothers being pulled from all upcoming scheduled WWE live events. Gallows and Anderson are still scheduled to be at TV tapings and pay-per-view events, but they have been pulled from live events indefinitely.

As we’ve noted, there’s talk that Gallows and Anderson will leave WWE when their current contracts expire this September. They reportedly turned down multi-million dollar deals as they are not happy with how they’ve been used in recent years. WWE officials had been meeting with Gallows and Anderson to discuss a new deal, as they have with many talents as of late. It was noted earlier this month that they already missed out on some live event dates because of how the initial contract meetings didn’t lead to a new agreement between the two sides.

Gallows and Anderson won the March 12 pre-SmackDown dark match over SAnitY but their last TV appearance came on the February 5 SmackDown episode, a loss to Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura. It looks like their last non-televised live event bookings came in late February as they were defeating SAnitY at weekend shows.

Gallows and Anderson remain in talks with WWE about a new deal. It was noted earlier this month that The Good Brothers are determined to continue their pro wrestling careers outside of WWE. A lot can happen between now and September, but there continues to be a feeling that they will be leaving.

As noted last week, Anderson took to social media and apparently denied the reports by posting a video of his 7 year old son Cylus.

Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson Reportedly Leaving WWE After Turning Down Deals

There’s now speculation on Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson possibly leaving WWE later this year.

Gallows and Anderson have reportedly turned down multi-million dollar contracts from WWE, according to PWInsider. Word is that The Good Brothers are now planning on leaving WWE when their current contracts expire.

It was reported back in December that they deals will expire in late September 2019, but then it was believed that they would be re-signing instead of returning to New Japan Pro Wrestling. This was before AEW potentially entered the picture.

We’ve noted how WWE officials have been approaching talents about signing new contracts as of late. Gallows and Anderson had multiple meetings with officials but word came out over the last few days that they turned down new deals. They are looking to leave WWE because they aren’t satisfied with how they have been used in recent years, according to the report.

It was also noted that Gallows and Anderson are brought to TV, but they aren’t currently being booked for non-televised live events. One source claimed to PWI that they were removed from the live event tours after initial contract meetings that didn’t lead to a new agreement between the two sides.

The Good Brothers are rarely featured on WWE TV these days. The former RAW Tag Team Champions lost to Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura on the February 5 SmackDown episode and then they lost to SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos on the December 18 episode. They haven’t been used much since being brought to SmackDown from RAW after WrestleMania 34 last year. They had a “Botch Club” WWE Digital series premiere earlier this year but it was nixed after the premiere episode.

The WWE futures of Gallows and Anderson were a hot topic backstage at this week’s SmackDown. While a lot can change between now and late September, word going around the wrestlers this week is that Gallows and Anderson are determined to continue their pro wrestling careers outside of WWE.

WWE Champion AJ Styles, U.S. Champion Shinsuke Nakamura, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson are all set to have their contracts expire in early 2019, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio. Meltzer noted that they all had signed three-year deals with WWE in 2016, and Styles and Nakamura’s deals expire in January.

Meltzer noted that New Japan Pro Wrestling has “absolute interest” in bringing Nakamura back to the company. With NJPW’s expansion, Nakamura’s name value has increased dramatically since his WWE debut.

The Orlando crowd erupted into cheers at the 2016 Royal Rumble pay-per-view event when Styles made his WWE debut. Styles held the WWE Championship for 140 days before the year was over, giving him a great start to his WWE career. He is still WWE Champion in his second run with the title, and addressed the idea of re-signing with WWE during a March 2018 interview with Raute Musik.

“I don’t see why not if I can do what I do,” Styles said. “Like, if I can still be AJ Styles, then I would like to keep working in the WWE in a talent form. So as long as I can keep going, then I would like to keep working there.”

Daniel Bryan’s WWE contract expires on September 1st.

Luke Gallows’ wife, independent wrestler Amber O’Neal Gallows, didn’t appear to be too happy with the segment on RAW last night between Dana Brooke, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. In the segment, Gallows and Anderson enlisted the help of Nurse Brooke for their match against The New Day and Bayley. Amber replied to a fan and Twitter about her thoughts and posted a series of tweets ripping on Dana, that have since been deleted:

I will kill a b—h t.co/Gt6rqCDRgR— Amber O’neal Gallows (@amberoneal1) August 30, 2016

Actually let me rephrase that…. I would kill a b—h if I cared enough to do it but in this case…..I’ll just let them have her.. #trash— Amber O’neal Gallows (@amberoneal1) August 30, 2016

Well once I thought about it.. #misspiggy is a much better fit for him….t.co/jiVbIbIzrK— Amber O’neal Gallows (@amberoneal1) August 30, 2016

Dana Brooke responded to Amber’s Twitter tirade, simply writing:

Amber seemed to pull back a little, and posted the following before deleting all of her tweets:

Gallows & Anderson Make In-Ring Debut On RAW, Theme Music, Comments On Debut

The new theme song for Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson is titled “Omen In The Sky.”WWE has released the audio on YouTube:

Anderson & Gallows Finally Made Their WWE RAW Debut

The Usos defeated Curtis Axel and Heath Slater last night on RAW to advance to the second round of the new tag team tournament. After the match, they were attacked by a debuting Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. The former IWGP Tag Team Champions destroyed The Usos in and out of the ring as fans cheered them on with chants of Bullet Club. Gallows and Anderson came through the crowd and left over the barrier, taunting The Usos.

Apparently Doc Gallows will be using the name Luke Gallows, a name used in a prior stint with WWE in November 2009 – November 2010. Gallows also previously appeared in WWE 2007 – 2009 as Festus.

There is no word if Anderson & Gallows will be given a tag team name besides their names. Although by the reaction of the crowd, knowing full well of them being part of Bullet Club in NJPW, they most likely won’t be using that name due to the fact that NJPW owns the right to the name.

Here is video of their debut on RAW:
