Sexy Star Wins Gift Of The Gods Title At Ultima Lucha Dos

On last night’s episode of Lucha Underground – Ultima Lucha Dos part 2, Sexy Star defeated Marty The Moth, Mariposa, Killshot, Daga, Night Claw & Sinestro De La Muerte to win the Gift of the Gods Title – guaranteeing her a shot at the Lucha Underground Championship whenever she wants.

If you pay attention to what I post you know I feel strongly about women getting their chance to shine in the spots world. Whether that be in MMA or professional wrestling. You would also come to find out that one of my favorite wrestling promotions is Lucha Underground because week after week they bring us something new and exciting. Not only that but they let their women shine, putting them in matches with the men, letting them prove that they can be dominate in a man’s world. Tonight they made history. Tonight I witnessed Sexy Star battle 5 other competitors for the gift of the God’s championship. 4 of which were men! But guess what she held her own. Yeah yeah people say wrestling is fake or pre determined but these bumps are real and they’re still human beings in their sacrificing their limbs for our entertainment. Tonight sexy star became the Gifts of the God’s champion guaranteeing her a shot at the world title whenever she wants. Not a separate title but THE title. The only time in the history of professional wrestling we’ve seen something close to this was when Chyna won the IC title but with all due respect this is next level! I applaud Lucha underground for not being afraid to push the envelope and break barriers. I can’t wait to see what’s next.
