Heath Reveals He Will Undergo Surgery In March

Heath revealed on Twitter that he will be undergoing surgery on March 1, 2021.

In the below video, Heath revealed that he has a sports hernia on the left side of his pubic bone, another hernia on the right side, a rip on both sides of his abdomen wall, and his abductor’s muscle is completely off the bone.

It was back in October when Heath was injured during the Call Your Shot” Battle Royal at Impact Wrestling Bound for Glory.

The former WWE star also explained that the reason it took him so long to get the surgery done, was because of how hard it was for him to find a doctor who was willing to do everything at once.

Heath made his Impact Wrestling debut on July 18, 2020, at Slammiversary after being released by WWE in April due to the company-wide cuts brought on by COVID-19.

Rhyno Retires After Losing WWE RAW Job, Heath Slater Becomes A Referee

On Last night’s RAW from Houston, Texas Heath Slater defeat his tag team partner Rhyno in a match that saw the loser get fired.

The match was made

by General Manager-Elect Baron Corbin, who said he had been crunching some numbers and found that RAW only had room for one of them. Corbin gave them the chance to quit to save the other’s job but they refused and he made the match.

In a twist to the story, Corbin later confronted Slater in a backstage segment and revealed that he’s keeping him on the red brand as a referee, not as an in-ring performer.

Rhyno announced his retirement to the live crowd during a commercial break after the match. Stay tuned for updates on his retirement.

There’s no word yet on what they have planned for Slater in the referee role, but we will keep you updated.

UPDATE: It looks like The Man Beast isn’t finished with WWE just yet as he’s booked for this week’s live events in South America, according to PWInsider. Rhyno has not tweeted since the angle on last night’s show. Stay tuned for updates on his status.

WWE Tag Team Breaking Up Soon?

Image result for Slater and rhyno

Former WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions Heath Slater & Rhyno teased some dissension on last night’s episode of Talking Smack. When discussing losing their tag title rematch to Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt on SmackDown Live earlier tonight, Rhyno remarked that he was carrying the load for the team during tonight’s match.

“I didn’t know I was going to be the only one out in the ring tonight,” Rhyno said.

When SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan asked Rhyno if he was blaming the loss on Slater, Rhyno told Bryan to not “jump in.” A surprised Slater said that he didn’t know they were keeping score, and noted that he won the titles for them.

“What happened right before [the tag title victory]?” Rhyno asked Slater. “I gored our opponents and you made the cover.”

Slater noted that Rhyno “lost the titles” for them as well, which prompted Rhyno to leave the set.

Heath Slater Statement In Response To Not Being Selected In WWE Draft

After being left out of the WWE Draft, Heath Slater posted the following on his Twitter account in response to WWE’s storyline article on the forgotten Draft pick:

“I hear all the whispers and all those lies people are spewing. Guess what? They are nothing but angry pleas from other guys who WISH they were free like me. You say I’m “optimistic and delusional”? You say I’ve “caught the bug”? I’ve had the bug for a long time now. I’ve been more than ready – since I was a little boy even – to get my time to shine. I know this company has taken down so many others but I’m not going to let them do the same to me. You’ll know my name and you’ll see that I’m stronger still. I’ll rise up from these ashes and you’ll learn to fear my pain, the pain of all the missed opportunities and all the backhanded comments I’ve endured all these years. Yeah you will. I won’t disappear, I definitely won’t be hanging up my boots anytime soon. I’ve got too much to prove before I would ever do that. You’ll be seeing me. You’ll be seeing a lot of me. Where you might ask? Only time will tell…”

Speculation On Bayley & The WWE Draft, Heath Slater

Source: WrestlingINC

There’s a lot of speculation that Bayley will end up on the main roster before the month is over, perhaps as Sasha Banks’ mystery partner against Dana Brooke and WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte at Sunday’s Battleground pay-per-view.

RAW only received two WWE NXT picks in the Draft, Finn Balor and Nia Jax, and with Charlotte, Dana and Sasha going to RAW, Bayley would be a good fit. We noted yesterday that WWE had “Hugger Section” signs placed in ringside seats at SmackDown but we’ve heard from one fan that those signs were created and placed by another fan. As noted, only 59 of 60 Draft picks were announced with Heath Slater being “left out” as an apparent comedy bit.

Assault Charges Against Heath Slater Dropped

Newsradio 106.7 in Atlanta reports that the simple assault charges against Heath Slater (real name Heath Miller) have been dropped because the statue of limitation had expired.

A misdemeanor arrest warrant was issued for Slater in early December for an alleged assault incident at a hotel following a WrestleMania after-party in 2011. Slater has not appeared on WWE TV since the warrant was issued.
