Weather you are happy or not about the UFC’s newest signee there is no doubt that this is a HUGE business move. A lot of people will either tune in to see Punk dominate in the UFC or fail miserably. One thing is forsure though lots of eyes will be on his debut in 2015 and it’ll definitely bring lots of crossover fans. Hell I would be lying if I said I wasn’t excited to see how this is going to play out. Meanwhile people of both the wrestling and MMA world have been reacting on twitter. Here are a few notable tweets.

NOPE you’re not dreaming you read the headline correctly. The self proclaimed “Best in the world” is trading in his wrestling boots for some UFC gloves. It was announced on air from the UFC181 ppv in Las Vegas with the help of UFC commentator Joe Rogan that none other then CM Punk has signed with the UFC.
It is being said that Punk will be making his octagon debut in 2015 as a fighter in the middleweight division. It should be noted the Punk does have extended training in BJJ and has friends in the organization. You can read more about this major announcement here http://m.ign.com/articles/2014/12/07/cm-punk-signs-with-ufc
How do you feel about this announcement. This wouldn’t be the first time a former WWE superstar has transition into the fight world. Do you think Punk will fit in? Do you think it’s a bad move?
Personally I think the move will gain a lot of crossover fans and if this is something punk wants I’m all for it. One question remains though. Will he be fighting under CM Punk or Phill Brooks?? Only time will tell

You read the title right folks, CM Punk returned to the “art of wrestling” podcast to sit down with his buddy Colt Cabana. This podcast is a little more laid back and is more of a conversation amongst friends. However Punk touches on a few WWE things such as WWE not wanting him to be on LA Ink or a slim Jim sponsor, the Vince McMahon apology and of corse the cm punk chants. If you are or (were) a punk fan you’re going to want to listen to this one. https://m.soundcloud.com/coltcabana/aow-227-cm-punk-returns

With all the Thanksgiving festivities going on like stuffing your face until you can no longer move, spending time with family, watching football games or participating in Black Friday maybe you haven’t gotten a chance to lay your ears on the latest edition of Colt Cabana’s “Art of wrestling” Podcast.
Colt Cabana’s guest was none other then his best friend CM Punk
In the podcast Punk discuss a number of things that led to his WWE departure the night after Royal Rumble 2014. The podcast dropped right on the midnight mark on Thanksgiving Day and it sent the inter web into a frenzy, so bad that the site of the podcast crashed. That’s right folks Cabana and Punk broke the Internet.
Rightfully so though because this podcast delivers the hard hitting questions and answers to everything that pretty much every wrestling fan had on their mind in regards to Punks departure.
Now thanks to the incredible invention that is YouTube we have that very podcast right here for you without any technical difficulties. If you’re a punk fan or where at one point you’re going to want to set aside two hours and listen to this. Trust me its GOOD

It’s 3AM in the morning on Thanksgiving Day and I just got done listening to Colt Cabana’s podcast “The Art of Wrestling” and his guest is none other then CM Punk. In the podcast Punk discuss a number of things. Everything from the shield being his idea, almost dying, his wedding day and of corse what really went down that fateful night in Cleveland Ohio after Royal Rumble 2014
November is the month for giving and Colt Cabana and Punk gave the fans and even anti fans so much to enjoy. I’ll tell you this and I’m speaking on behalf of myself as well: If you’ve ever called the man that is CM Punk a quitter or what punk calls a “quieter” you may want to think twice about that. Further more you can’t believe everything you read on the Internet.
Punk doesn’t hide the fact that he’s still bitter and rightfully so, but he says that’s a part of life and he’s working through it. When Punk and Cabana set up this interview they did it so Punk would be comfortable telling his side of the story with his best friend knowing there was no hidden agenda.
By the end of this interview you will have all the answers to your burning CM Punk questions. Weather or not you’ll have respect for him by the end of it is entirely up to you. This interview is uncensored, uncut and just straight up real.
I encourage you to listen to the whole thing it is well worth the 90mins+ (and no skipping either, LISTEN TO THE WHOLE THING) especially if you’re a Punk fan. You can download the podcast on iTunes or you can listen to it here http://youtu.be/zxHRJnZsinQ
So sit back and enjoy! Have a happy Thanksgiving everybody

Former WWE Superstar CM Punk (Phil Brooks) has joined Marvel Comics as a writer. Punk will team up with artist Rob Guillory for February’s Thor Annual #1. Punk talked with Ryan Penagos of Marvel.com about how things have gone so far:
“I Think it helps that I picked (an) artist who I was already friends with, and can speak freely to. I think he’ll get it, you know what I mean? I think the e-mails that we’ve sent back and forth now regarding the story, you could probably print. I just think they’re entertaining. “Hey, what if we do this?” and it turns into the next big e-mail chain. It’s hilarious.”
Former WWE Superstar CM Punk (Phil Brooks) accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. His wife, WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee helped dump the ice water on his head.
