Report: Brie Bella in Talks for WWE Return Following Nikki’s RAW Appearance

The Bella Twins might be gearing up for one more run in WWE — together.

According to a report from TMZ, Brie Bella is currently in discussions with WWE about a potential return to the ring, with early indications pointing toward an appearance at the upcoming Evolution event on July 13.

This news comes hot on the heels of Nikki Bella’s surprise appearance on Monday Night RAW earlier this week, where she was seen interacting with several members of the women’s roster backstage. Things took a turn when Nikki was attacked by Women’s Tag Team Champion Liv Morgan, sparking immediate speculation about a possible storyline brewing — and possibly setting the stage for Brie’s return.

While nothing has been confirmed by WWE or the Bellas themselves, the timing seems too perfect to ignore. With Evolution being promoted as a landmark night for women’s wrestling — potentially a sequel to the all-women’s pay-per-view first held in 2018 — bringing back one of the most iconic duos in WWE history could be a major draw.

The Bella Twins haven’t wrestled as a team since 2018, but both have remained involved in the industry through outside ventures, WWE appearances, and their reality series. Their return, particularly in the current landscape of WWE’s women’s division, could add a nostalgic jolt and elevate whichever feud they step into.

If Brie does return, it could mean The Bellas vs. Liv Morgan & a partner is on the horizon — and that’s a matchup sure to generate buzz.

Stay with Wrestling News Blog as we continue to track developments on Brie Bella’s WWE status and everything leading up to Evolution on July 13.

Nikki Bella Teases More WWE Appearances – And Possibly Brie’s Return?

Nikki Bella’s return to WWE at the 2025 Royal Rumble may have just been the beginning. During a recent episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, the former Divas Champion dropped some intriguing hints about her future in the company—and even suggested that her twin sister Brie Bella might not be far behind.

Addressing her comeback, Nikki played coy about whether this was a one-time appearance or the start of something bigger. “Is this a one-off or is she here to stay? Keep tuning in,” she teased. However, she didn’t leave fans completely in the dark, making it clear that she’ll be back in the ring sooner rather than later. “You will see another ‘Fearless’ Nikki appearance, sooner than later, that is for sure. I’m definitely doing more than what I just did on Saturday.”

The biggest tease, though, was Nikki’s mention of her sister. “Hopefully, Brie Mode will be by my side soon. More on that to come.”

Could we be seeing a Bella Twins reunion in WWE? While there’s no official confirmation yet, Nikki’s comments suggest that Brie may be gearing up for a return of her own. The duo last competed together in WWE at the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble, but a full-fledged comeback would certainly shake up the women’s division.

For now, fans will have to wait and see what’s next—but it looks like Nikki Bella isn’t done just yet, and she might be bringing Brie along for the ride.

The Bella Twins Reportedly Set For WWE In-Ring Return

This year’s WWE Hall of Fame will feature both the 2020 class and the 2021 class. The Bella Twins are set to inducted as part of the 2020 class, and they may be in store for an in-ring comeback as well.

On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that The Bella Twins are going to return to wrestle. The return date has not been set, but Meltzer noted that the plan is for them to come back in the fall of this year.

The Bella Twins have discussed an in-ring return in the past. They have also expressed their desire to challenge for the Women’s Tag Team Titles.

Nikki Bella recently discussed returning to action on The Bellas Podcast. She also revealed that she has not been cleared for an in-ring return due to her neck injury.

“I really want to do a WWE return with you Brie. I really want to go after the tag titles,” Nikki said (h/t to Digital Spy). “That’s one thing I really want to do before I hang up the Nikes for good. I at least want to do that one last run.

“I guess I have been talking about this run as if I am cleared, which I am not cleared to wrestle.”

The Bella Twins Reveal They Are Both Pregnant

Announced on People.com, Nikki and Brie Bella revealed they are both pregnant, and are each due only a week and a half apart.

Nikki got engaged to be married to her former Dancing With The Stars partner, Artem Chigvintsev, last November in France. This will be her first child.

For Brie, this will be her second child. She and her husband, Daniel Bryan, have a two-year old daughter, Birdie Joe Danielson.

“Wait, twins being pregnant at the same time?” Brie said. “People are going to think that’s a joke. We both are shocked. People are going to think we planned it, but you can’t really plan pregnancy!”

“[It was] a total surprise,” Nikki added. “It took even me a good week to come to terms with like, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m pregnant.’ I’m not ready for it.”

The sisters recalled when each of them realized they were expecting.

“My husband and I were trying for seven or eight months, but then I felt in my heart it was a sign from God, like, ‘You guys are good with one,’ so we stopped trying,” Brie stated. “When we were in France meeting Artem’s family, I felt a little off. I was irritated and uncomfortable in my body. When we got home, I took a test two days before Thanksgiving, and when I saw the positive sign, I was like, ‘Oh, s—!'”

“I was in yoga, and I kept getting this feeling that you need to take a pregnancy test, but I wasn’t even late yet,” Nikki said. “And so I’m like, ‘Why do I keep having this feeling? Am I getting twin vibes from her? Because she just told me she’s pregnant?’ I didn’t tell Artem at this point. I just want to do this by myself. When I came back in, and it said pregnant, I had to sit down for a second.”

Bella Twins Appeared On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Nikki Talks WWE Retirement, Reveals She Has Cyst On Her Brain And Another Herniated Disc

Back in March, Nikki and Brie Bella officially announced their retirement from the wrestling ring. While Brie became a mom, Nikki was working on a comeback following neck surgery. Last wrestling at WWE Evolution in a losing effort to Ronda Rousey, Nikki hasn’t been seen in a WWE ring since.

The Bella Twins were once again guests during last night’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, promoting the Bellas Podcast. While also talking about spoiling Game of Thrones to her boyfriend, Nikki went into detail as to why she retired. Around the 3:10 mark, Nikki discussed how Brie had a choice as a mom to retire but she never got that satisfaction.

“For me, I really wanted to go back and fight for the tag titles,” Nikki stated. “I’ve always had my neck issues and after neck surgery, it hasn’t been OK. I feel like I needed to get a checkup before we went back for the tag titles. The results came back and I herniated the disc above where I had surgery, I have all this inflammation around the metal and then I have a cyst on my brain. So they were like, ‘you’re done, no more.’ So I didn’t get a choice, which sucks.”

Both multi-time Women’s Champions, Nikki and Brie debuted in WWE back in 2008. Since then, they have become the stars of Total Divas and Bellas, both of which will soon be returning to TV. They also own a wine business and have created the BirdieBee brand.

In April, Nikki explained how everything in her life was a lot to handle when it came to returning to the ring. She also said anything is possible when it comes to wrestling.

“Having that comeback, filming Total Bellas, running three companies and then fighting Ronda Rousey and beating up my body… I just remember when we were sitting there on our 35th birthday. I just sat there and said to myself that I was done,” Nikki continued. “I started thinking about my health and my age. I need to put more focus on my companies, so honestly, that was the reason why I retired. This is the thing about WWE though; the doors are truly never closed.”

Brie Bella Announces Her Retirement From Wrestling On Total Bellas

On last night’s episode of Total Bellas, Brie Bella made a huge announcement regarding her future in the ring. The former Divas Champion officially announced her retirement, while also stating her and Daniel Bryan will be moving back to Phoenix from San Diego. This decision comes after wanting to start another family with Bryan following the birth of Birdie.

“I know a couple months ago I told you I wasn’t ready for baby number two because I have a lot on my plate,” Brie stated to Bryan during the episode. “But I’ve been thinking about it a lot and I think the comeback really made me realize that I am actually ready. And I do want Birdie and our next baby to be close in age.”

After a brief hiatus, Brie returned to the ring in 2018 during the first-ever women’s Royal Rumble match. She later teamed up with Bryan and won a match against The Miz and Maryse at the Hell in a Cell PPV. Brie’s last WWE appearance was at WWE Evolution back in October, where she accompanied her sister Nikki to the ring for her match against Ronda Rousey. Before that, she competed in several multi-woman tag matches against the Riott Squad.

On last night’s episode Brie announced, “I decided that after [WWE] Evolution, I’m gonna be fully retired,” Brie continued with a smile. “Fully done.”

While the future is unknown, Brie believes the move will be permanent. Besides committing to Total Bellas, Brie already has a future outside of WWE with Birdiebee, her wine label Belle Radici and Nicole + Brizee, a body and beauty line.

“I love WWE, but the one thing I learned is that I can’t do everything. I just can’t,” Brie continued. “I know deep down inside that I’m making the right decision, that the boots have to be hung, that I need to go back to Phoenix and just really put more concentration on the things that are in my future instead of what was in my past.”

Nikki was shocked to hear about the news. Her last appearance in a WWE ring was the loss to Rousey at Evolution.

“Talk about dropping two huge bombs,” Nikki stated. “I guess retirement I always thought would be something that Brie and I would talk about together. I just did not expect this big change after such an incredible comeback.”

Liv Morgan Knocked Out During RAW After Accidental Kicks To The Face (VIDEO)

liv morgan knocked out raw video brie bella

A scary moment occurred on Raw this week after Brie Bella knocked out Liv Morgan following two accidental kicks to the face.

It all went down during a 6-woman tag match pitting the Riott Squad against Natalya and the Bella Twins. As seen in the video below, Brie began laying in her husband’s famous Yes Kicks … but accidentally rocked Liv’s head with two brutal strikes.

Morgan tried getting back to her corner, but the 24-year-old fell to the ground a few times trying to do so and it was immediately evident something was wrong. Sara Logan eventually pulled her out of the ring and took her ringside to get checked out by the ringside doctor.

Liv surprisingly made her way back into the ring for another spot, but ducked out to the ringside area afterward to continue getting checked out as Michael Cole tried to explain her absence.

This comes just 12 days before the Riott Squad are set to face The Bella Twins again, this time with Ronda Rousey as their partner.  The match goes down at WWE Super Showdown broadcasting live from Australia on the WWE Network, next Saturday October 6th.

Brie tweeted after the incident saying, “Every match on  is an opportunity for us to entertain our fans. Our intentions as  Superstars is to win the match, never injure our opponents. Thinking about  tonight.”

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that while she still needs to undergo more tests, she was “OK”, but might have suffered some memory loss. It’s not known if she suffered a concussion, but PWInsider had reported that she underwent concussion tests after the match.

The Bella Twins Returning To WWE Together

The Bella Twins have an interview in the new issue of In Touch magazine, which is on newsstands now. They revealed that they are looking to make a return to the ring together some time in 2018.

“We miss it terribly,” Brie said. “I think about it every day. Once you have the passion for wrestling, you can’t forget it,” Nikki added. “I say we make our comeback in 2018, but as the Bella Twins, not individuals,” Brie said, and Nikki agreed: “It’s a deal!”

Brie Bella Says She Knows ‘For A Fact’ Daniel Bryan Will Find A Way To Wrestle Again

It’s been 18 months since Daniel Bryan retired from pro wrestling … but his wife Brie Bella says she “knows for a fact” that he’ll find a way to return to the ring thanks to a new medical treatment.

Brie was asked about Bryan’s wrestling future on From The Top Rope this week and the new mom revealed that Daniel began looking for treatments to heal his brain weeks after retiring.

She explained, “From that moment, which was pretty much two years ago, he has been doing every kind of testing to every kind of experiment you can imagine for the brain. And he actually found one, it’s this oxygen hyperbaric chamber or something.”

The treatment is called Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), an alternative form of medicine that according to their website, “… is the use of high pressure oxygen as a drug to treat basic pathophysiologic processes and their diseases.”

Brie claims Bryan has already undergone 40 treatments across the country and said she’ll fully support his return if doctors give him the green light.

“And I told Bryan, ‘You do have a daughter, so always remember that. But if the doctors finally give you the green light,’ I go, ‘Go! This is your dream and passion. You have one life to live and I will never hold you back.’” Adding, “Because I love to wrestle, and I would hate if someone told me you can’t do it. And if WWE doesn’t allow it, then I said, ‘Go somewhere else. It’s all on you.’ Obviously he would love to be able to get back in that WWE ring, but I know for a fact my husband is going to find his way back to the ring. He honestly is.”

Brie Bella Getting Ready To Return To The Ring

After giving birth in May, Brie Bella is getting ready to return to the ring.

On Wednesday, Brie was at the SoCal School of Pro Wrestling in San Marcos, California with Daniel Bryan, Nikki Bella and Nia Jax for a training session.

Brie last wrestled in April 2016 on the WrestleMania 32 Kickoff show at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, where she teamed up with fellow Total Divas castmates Alicia Fox, Natalya, Paige and Eva Marie in a 10-Superstar Tag Team Match against Lana, Naomi, Tamina, Summer Rae and Emma. Brie sealed the victory for her team when she forced Naomi to submit to the “Yes!” Lock.

A few days after the show, Brie said she would be taking an extended break from in-ring competition, citing family reasons, while also stating that she would continue working for WWE as an ambassador.

During a panel discussion at Comic-Con with WWE Superstars last month, Brie announced her return to the ring.

“My husband and I were talking, and he was like, ‘You know what, Brie, I think we have enough room to get ring and why don’t we start training?'” she said.

Brie explained that she had begged her husband to build a wrestling ring at their home in Phoenix, Arizona and he finally caved and even agreed to train her.

“We just started training, I’m hoping 2018 I can get back in the ring again,” she announced.
