Adam Rose Says His Party Character Has Been Killed … ‘I Am KRUGAR’

KRUGAR

Former WWE wrestler Adam Rose says his party character is dead … and from now on, he’ll be using the name KRUGAR — because he wants to prove he’s more than just a comedy act.

The wrestler released a video to Pro Wrestling Sheet in which he announces the new name and addresses rumors that he might have been M.I.A. the past few months due to addiction.

KRUGAR explains, “People say I disappeared because I’m some sort of drug addict. Well, I can tell you this, I am no drug addict. I’m no angel. I can tell you that. I’m no angel. I’ve wrestled demons my entire life. But I am not a drug addict.”

He adds, “I disappeared because I had to put my family first. I had to go home to my boys. I had to go home and look after my wife. I had to go get a real job just like the rest of you to feed them.”

The 37-year-old was formerly Leo Kruger in NXT from 2010-2014.

KRUGAR comments on the name change by saying, “Adam Rose is dead. I killed Adam Rose. I’m not some comedy routine.”

Adam Rose Teasing WWE Return?

Adam Rose is teasing big news on his twitter account. He said that something big is coming that will blow the roof off. At the end of his tweet, he included the hashtags #AdamRose and #WWE.

As of this writing, WWE owns the “Adam Rose” trademark so it doesn’t appear that he is getting ownership of the name anytime soon. It’s possible that he will be returning to WWE and, if that is the case, then we should find out soon.

Rose has been working under the name Aldo Rose on the independent scene and he is scheduled to make an appearance for Preston City Wrestling on 10/28. He is also booked for IPW in the UK on 11/6.

Rose was released from his WWE contract back in May following a suspension for violating the company wellness policy.
