According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Impact Wrestling is no longer working with Crash. Konnan was the intermediary between the sides so with him out of the CRASH (due to Konnan working with Aro Lucha) the relationship is over. AAA & The CRASH do not get along, and Konnan had met with AAA’s Dorian Roldan, trying to smooth things over for Penta 0M and Rey Fenix and others (which didn’t work since AAA sent Arolucha, which Konnan is involved with, a cease and desist on Penta 0M). This led to Konnan’s departure from The CRASH.

It’s now confirmed that Ethan Carter III (Michael Hutter) will be returning to WWE soon, according to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter . It’s possible that EC3 will use the same name in WWE as he does own the rights to it. He previously used the Derrick Bateman name in WWE.
Regarding a possible WWE return for Bobby Lashley, it’s still believed that he will be returning to the company as some have expected it to happen for months but there’s been no confirmation like there has with EC3.
A Royal Rumble appearance for EC3 is possible as he’s now able to sign with any promotion he wants following the Impact Wrestling departure. As Raj noted before, EC3 was recently pulled from a Renegade Wrestling Revolution indie event in Houston, TX on the day of the Rumble. The promotion noted on Facebook that EC3 pulled out of the show due to a private family matter. They wrote, “Unfortunately it is a private family matter. He is ok just has to be with family. But don’t be discouraged there isn’t shortage of talent on this card”
Lashley could appear at the Rumble as well but it would take Impact officials giving approval to WWE.

UPDATE:
EC3 was seen at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando this week, according to PWInsider.
James Storm, who finished up with Impact Wrestling at their tapings last November, was interviewed by Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated for their “Week In Wrestling” feature. Below are a couple of highlights:
Wanting to sign with WWE:
“My ultimate goal is to go to WWE. The WWE has such a grip on the world, it’s pretty amazing, and I believe I still have a lot to give.
“I’m in the best shape I’ve ever been. When I left Impact, I told people this isn’t my last stop, it’s just time for me to get on a new horse.”
Being 40 years old in the business:
“People say, ‘Well, you’re 40 years old. When I grew up watching wrestling, my heroes were men like the ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage. The older you get, the more of a superhero you become. There is a reason there is Superman, and not Superboy.”
Storm also discussed wanting to team with Bobby Roode again, working this weekend’s Aro Lucha shows in Texas, wrestling fans gravitating to rednecks and more. You can read the full interview by clicking here.

Pro Wrestling Sheet received a statement from Roman Reigns about a recent interview in which he was tied to a steroid distribution ring.
For those who missed it, Reigns was named by jailed steroid distributor Richard Rodriguez as a former client in an interview he gave to filmmaker Jon Bravo about his Miami-based company Wellness Fitness Nutrition — which was raided by the DEA last year.
Reigns says, “I have never heard of Richard Rodriguez or Wellness Fitness Nutrition. I learned from the mistake I made nearly two years ago and paid the penalty for it.”
Adding, “Since then, I’ve passed 11 tests as part of WWE’s independent drug testing program.”

Despite being advertised, Kevin Nash says he’s unable to make an appearance next week at Monday Night Raw‘s 25th anniversary episode.
Nash tweeted saying, “Was so looking forward to being a part of RAW 25. It’s nearly impossible to travel on our down sized airlines healthy. With a total knee replacement it would be self inflicted torture. See ya everyone at Mania.”
