Jey Uso continues to forge his solo path in WWE, but tonight, he faces off against Grayson Waller, who is never short on confidence. Lex Luger to Be Inducted Into WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025

WWE has officially announced that wrestling legend Lex Luger will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025. He joins Triple H and Michelle McCool as the latest names set to receive the prestigious honor during WrestleMania weekend.

The news was revealed in a heartwarming moment shared on WWE’s social media. In the video, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes personally delivered the announcement to Luger on February 19, just ahead of the Elimination Chamber 2025 event. Rhodes surprised Luger in a room where he was sitting alongside Diamond Dallas Page (DDP)—who has been a major part of Luger’s rehabilitation efforts in recent years. Upon hearing the news, Luger, with encouragement from DDP, stood up to embrace Rhodes in an emotional exchange.

A Long-Awaited Honor

Luger’s Hall of Fame induction has been a debated topic for years. Many fans and wrestlers alike have questioned why it took so long for WWE to recognize his contributions. Some have speculated that his past controversies, particularly his connection to the late Miss Elizabeth (Elizabeth Hulette) during her final days, may have played a role in WWE’s delay. Hulette tragically passed away in 2003 due to an accidental overdose, and at the time, Luger was heavily scrutinized due to his presence in her life.

Despite the wait, many in the industry believe this honor is long overdue. Hall of Famers JBL and Ron Simmons have been vocal about their support for Luger’s induction. Simmons recently spoke at the For The Love Of Wrestling convention, stating:

“I think Lex should be in the Hall of Fame, there’s no doubt about it, and I don’t know why he’s not, but Lex should be in the Hall of Fame. Lex was an incredible star, he is as big an icon as anybody in this business, and for him not to be in the Hall of Fame, I think, is wrong.”

Luger’s Perspective on the Hall of Fame

While fans and fellow wrestlers have long pushed for his induction, Luger himself has maintained a humble stance. In a recent interview on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, recorded just one day before he received the news, Luger shared his thoughts on possibly being inducted. He expressed optimism but made it clear that, regardless of the honor, he was at peace with his career and contributions to the industry.

Luger’s journey in wrestling saw him rise to fame in WCW, where he became a multi-time champion, before making a significant impact in WWE during the early ‘90s. From his unforgettable body slam on Yokozuna aboard the USS Intrepid to his runs as NWA and WCW World Heavyweight Champion, Luger’s legacy is undeniable.

Now, as he prepares to take his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame, fans and peers alike can celebrate the career of a man who helped shape an era of professional wrestling.

WWE Brings WCW Back to Life with New YouTube Channel

WWE is tapping into wrestling nostalgia in a big way, bringing the legendary World Championship Wrestling (WCW) back to life with a brand-new YouTube channel. Launched on March 6, 2025, this dedicated platform is a dream come true for longtime fans, offering a vast collection of classic WCW moments, including full matches, pay-per-view events, and complete episodes of Monday Nitro and Thunder.

A Treasure Trove of WCW History

For years, WCW content has been mixed into WWE’s broader video library, but now it’s getting the standalone treatment it deserves. This new channel is packed with unforgettable moments from wrestling icons like Sting, Ric Flair, Goldberg, and the nWo, allowing fans to relive the chaos and excitement that defined WCW’s rise in the 1990s. Whether it’s Hulk Hogan’s shocking heel turn at Bash at the Beach 1996 or the electric debut of Nitro in 1995, the channel offers a front-row seat to some of wrestling’s most talked-about events.

The Perfect Timing for WCW’s Return

This move comes at an interesting time for WWE’s digital strategy. With the WWE Network no longer available outside the U.S. and uncertainty surrounding its Peacock deal, WWE appears to be exploring new ways to deliver classic content to fans worldwide. Free access to WCW’s golden era on YouTube is a major win for fans who want to revisit—or experience for the first time—the era when WCW was giving WWE a serious run for its money during the Monday Night Wars.

Backstage Tension? Jade Cargill and Shayna Baszler Reportedly Had a Heated Confrontation

Jade Cargill has made a dominant impact in WWE since arriving in late 2023, quickly capturing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships twice alongside Bianca Belair. However, it appears her run hasn’t been without some backstage controversy.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Cargill and Shayna Baszler were involved in a backstage confrontation a few months ago, prior to Cargill’s recent injury. The report states that Baszler was ready to fight Cargill after the former AEW TBS Champion allegedly rubbed some of the Raw women’s locker room the wrong way. However, WWE management stepped in before things escalated further.

What Led to the Conflict?

While details remain scarce, sources suggest the tension wasn’t due to just one incident but rather a series of issues that had built up over time. Some of it reportedly stemmed from their in-ring interactions during the feud between Cargill & Belair vs. Baszler & Zoey Stark, while other factors were unrelated to their matches.

Interestingly, one source claimed that while Cargill’s issues on Raw were notable, the locker room tensions on the SmackDown side were reportedly even worse—though no further details were given.

What’s Next for Cargill?

Despite the reported backstage friction, Cargill remains a major star in WWE’s women’s division, and her team with Bianca Belair has been a focal point of Raw’s tag scene. With Cargill currently sidelined due to injury, it will be interesting to see how things unfold when she returns to action.

Backstage tension isn’t uncommon in WWE, but will this reported clash with Baszler have any long-term effects on Cargill’s position in the company?

Cargill will appear on tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown to address her attack on Naomi.

WWE Reportedly Preparing For The Debut Of Rey Fenix

Fightful is reporting that when asked about Fenix’s situation with WWE, sources suggested that he is expected to undergo WWE medical evaluations shortly.

It was also reported that his WWE’s merchandise and creative teams are already preparing for Fenix’s arrival, and he should be signing a contract soon, if he hasn’t done so already.

Fenix will likely be heading to WWE to team up with PENTA, a move the Lucha Brothers planned to make before AEW added injury time to Fenix’s contract.

Since his WWE debut in January, Penta has been promoted as a rising singles star.

WWE Reportedly Planning To Bring Back Evolution PLE This Summer

After bringing back Clash at the Castle and Bad Blood in 2024, WWE may be set to revive another long-awaited premium live event—Evolution. According to BodySlam.net, the company is eyeing a return for its all-women’s event this summer, with a tentative date of Saturday, July 5, and a potential location at Mohegan Sun: Casino & Resort in Uncasville, Connecticut.

The Legacy of WWE Evolution

The first Evolution took place in October 2018, making history as WWE’s first-ever all-women’s premium live event. Hosted at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York, the show featured top stars from Raw, SmackDown, NXT, and WWE’s past generations. The main event saw Ronda Rousey successfully defend the Raw Women’s Championship against Nikki Bella, who has since been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Meanwhile, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair delivered an unforgettable Last Woman Standing Match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship, cementing Evolution as a milestone moment for WWE’s women’s division.

The event also saw WWE legends like Trish Stratus, Lita, Michelle McCool, Torrie Wilson, Kelly Kelly, Alundra Blayze, Ivory, and Molly Holly step back into the ring, creating a special blend of past and present.

Why Has Evolution Taken So Long to Return?

Despite Evolution’s success and strong fan demand, WWE never followed up with a sequel—at least not immediately. According to Stephanie McMahon, the company originally considered running Evolution 2 in 2019, but instead prioritized Crown Jewel that year, which hosted the first-ever women’s match in Saudi Arabia.

Over the years, WWE Superstars—especially Bayley—have been vocal about wanting another Evolution event. The Grand Slam Champion previously expressed that she was “dying” for its return, and fans have continued to push for it as well.

Will Evolution 2 Finally Happen?

While WWE has not officially confirmed Evolution’s return, the reported plans for a July 5 event suggest that discussions are serious. If the event is finalized, it could serve as a major showcase for WWE’s women’s division—especially with rising stars from NXT, established names on the main roster, and potential appearances from WWE legends.

Ava is continuing to rise through the ranks in WWE, as she has now taken on a new leadership role as the director of WWE EVOLVE.

During the premiere episode of the revamped brand on Wednesday night, Shawn Michaels appeared alongside Ava to kick off the show. While Michaels initially took charge of booking the matches for the debut episode, he later informed Ava in a backstage segment that he would be stepping aside, leaving the direction of WWE EVOLVE in her hands.

Update On Cora Jade Following WWE NXT Match Stoppage

Last night’s NXT saw an unfortunate turn of events when Cora Jade’s match against Jordynne Grace had to be stopped early due to a legitimate injury. The abrupt ending left fans concerned, especially given Jade’s history of knee issues, but the 24-year-old quickly took to social media to clarify that her knees were fine—she had simply been “rocked” during the match.

According to Fightful Select, the injury was related to Jade’s head, leading many to speculate that she may have suffered a concussion. However, no official confirmation has been made regarding the severity of the injury or whether it will sideline her for any length of time.

The timing of this setback couldn’t be worse for Jade, who only recently returned from a devastating knee injury that kept her out for nine months. In January 2024, just days before her birthday, she tore her ACL, MCL, and meniscus in her left knee, forcing her to undergo an extensive recovery process. Though she made an early return to the ring, she has been competing with a knee brace ever since.

Beyond potentially missing ring time, this latest injury puts Jade’s upcoming match against TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich at risk. The two were scheduled to clash at TNA Sacrifice on March 14, with Slamovich’s title on the line. Adding to the hype, Slamovich was even spotted in the crowd during Jade’s match against Grace, building anticipation for their showdown. Now, with Jade’s status uncertain, fans will have to wait and see whether the match goes on as planned.

Stay tuned for updates on Cora Jade’s condition and what this means for her highly anticipated title opportunity.
