Drugs were the only thing listed under the “incapacity types” category on Reid Flair’s police report. Reid was found dead in his hotel room in Charlotte, NC last Friday at the age of 25. WBTV in Charlotte reports that one of their sources told the station that investigators are looking into the possibility that Reid may have died from a drug overdose. Reid’s father, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, spoke to the channel off-camera, stating, “I loved my son very much. Thanks to my fans for the support”

TMZ has obtained the 911 call placed by Ric Flair … moments after the wrestling legend discovered his son Reid Flair unresponsive in a Charlotte, NC hotel room.

Ric frantically tells the operator, “He’s out cold! He’s out cold and he’s purple!”

It’s no secret that I am a fan of AJ Lee or should I say April Mendez? Because putting gimmicks and personas aside her and I have many of the same interests including our mutual love for video games. I thought a few of you would enjoy this surprise post of AJ’s top ten favorite video games.

10. Pokémon Yellow (a.k.a. Pokémon: Special Pikachu Edition) (1998)

I think it’s a strange choice, but I was so obsessed with Pokémon. I didn’t have a lot of money growing up at all, so I borrowed my friend’s Pokemon Red and the original versions of it. The first one I ever got was [Yellow]. I think my parents saved up for a while, and it was a Christmas present or a birthday present—I can’t remember—and I got Pokémon Yellow. I played that until I couldn’t play it anymore. [Laughs]

How deep were you into the Pokémon phenomenon?

Well, I have to say that it’s all about just the first incarnation of it—the first 150. When Misty wasn’t there, I left. But I was so into it. Again, I didn’t grow up with a lot of money, so I never could afford the cards, so I kind of missed out on that. I thought it was really cool—I wish I could’ve—but yeah, I was kind of obsessed with it. I will tell you an embarrassing story: I went to the premiere of the movie wearing a Pikachu shirt, and I was probably way too old. [Laughs] I wasn’t that young where that was okay. [Laughs] I was pretty dedicated. I loved Pikachu, so [in] Yellow, you get to have him walk around with you. Oh yeah, that was awesome. That was probably the highlight of my year.

9. Super Mario Bros. (1985)

It’s more for sentimental value. It reminds me of sitting with my brother and my sister and a nice memory of childhood. I remembering I never wanted to be the Princess. [Laughs] I wanted to be the guys rescuing the princess.

. Batman: Arkham City (2011)

I love the characters. I’m a big Harley Quinn fan, and it’s really cool. [It has some] of the best graphics I’ve ever seen in a game and had a really good story. It’s a little low on my list because I have such sentimental connections to all the other ones. But yeah, that one was awesome.

Do you have any favorite Batman villains besides Harley Quinn?

Poison Ivy. I like the girls. [Laughs] The girls are so bad ass. Any time the girls are usually pretty bad ass, I mark for that. [Laughs]

7. Mortal Kombat 3 (1995)

I think a lot of people like Mortal Kombat II better. I don’t hear 3 a lot as people’s favorite, but again, sentimentally, there was a time when that was like the only game I had. That, and Samurai Shodown I think. I fell in love with Kitana and Sonya, so that’s my number seven.

Did you have this on Super Nintendo or Sega Genesis?

Sega, yeah.

Did you have a favorite character from the game?

I’ve always loved Sub-Zero’s story. Everything about him has been really interesting, so probably him.

6. Need for Speed: Underground 2 (2004)

I was obsessed with this game. I’m a big racing game fan. Something about it just goes back to my Excitebike days. I just love the feel of that. I loved Need for Speed: Underground because it wasn’t on a track. You could drive around the whole town. Need for Speed: Underground 2 is so much more in-depth than the first one. I was a really big Fast and the Furious fan back then, too, so oh my gosh, I was obsessed with that. I would kick that game’s butt so much.

5. Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (1999) and WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw (2005)

I had to fit in all my favorites so I cheated and I made a tie for number five. This is ’cause I was playing them kind of around the same time: Resident Evil 3: Nemesis tied with the first SmackDown! vs. Raw. At the time, they were [out] around the same couple of years. The SmackDown! vs. Raw I have the love for because it was one of [WWE’s] first [games] to get really in-depth and really accurate and more realistic. I would play that game every second of my life because I wanted to be a wrestler so bad. That was the closest I could ever get to it. I made myself in the game. A great deal of my childhood was spent on SmackDown! vs. Raw. [Note: We think that she means WWF SmackDown! from 2000 but can’t say for sure.]

Resident Evil 3 was the first time I got my sister to play a video game, like actually play it and get into it, so if Resident Evil 3 could convert someone, it must have some sort of power to get a super girly girl to sit down and play it. It was probably because there was a boutique key and we had to change our clothes [Laughs], but still, Jill Valentine is one of my all-time favorite video game heroines.

4. Fable III (2010)

Oh my gosh. You cannot get a game that is more made for me [especially with] anything with a sword and a different time. It’s like The Sims, but you get to kill people, so it’s awesome. I was obsessed. Fable II I was really obsessed with way back in the day, but Fable III really got it right.

3. Resident Evil 4 (2005)

Huuuuge fan of that. I like that one way more than Resident Evil 5. I didn’t like the outdoorsy setting of 5 and it wasn’t as scary. Resident Evil 4 was the first time it wasn’t zombies and they had different camera angles, but it still had the feel of Resident Evil. It has to be, to me, one of the best done games of all time. The graphics were amazing, the game play was amazing, and it had the really creepy feel of Resident Evil with a different kind of game.

2. Final Fantasy X (2001)

What’s your favorite memory from Final Fantasy X?

Oh gosh, probably anything with Auron. When he left at the end, I may have cried. [Laughs] When you kind of realize that it has been just like a dream the entire time, that sucked. [Laughs] But I loved him. Yeah, that game is so good. It was so good that I even played Final Fantasy X-2. I played it a hundred percent, so I could get Tidus back. [Laughs]

1. Metal Gear Solid (1998)

I was really young [when I played it], probably too young to realize how different it was from other games and how cutting edge it was. I remember at first we had a demo for it. I played that so much. It was the first level with him getting to the elevator. I was kind of like, ‘Oh, this is so cool.’ I just sat sneaking around [with] the stealth aspects of it. This sounds really twisted, but I thought it was so cool to sneak up behind people and snap their necks [with] the little twitch-twitch-twitch and then it just cracks. [Laughs] I was so little and I was like, ‘This is so awesome!’ I was really into that, and once I actively played the whole thing, it was a movie that you were a part of. It was so cool. I could play that now and the story would still be better than a lot of stories that are in games right now. To me, it’s the best game of all time. I have all the action figures on my shelf in my office. Big Meryl fan. Playing the most recent one was cool because everyone came back in it. I love every the Metal Gear Solid series, but I don’t think any other game in the series can match the feel of the first one—or technically Metal Gear Solid, not the actual first one on Nintendo.

[CM Punk and I] were talking about Snake the other day, actually. [Laughs] He was trying to compare himself to Solid Snake. [I said], ‘You are not cool enough to be anywhere near Solid Snake.’ [Laughs]

Ric Flair’s agent, Melinda Morris Zanoni of Legacy Talent and Entertainment, issued the following statement regarding Reid’s passing:

“We are heartbroken to confirm that Ric’s son, Reid Fliehr, has passed away today March 29, 2013 in Charlotte, NC. The investigation into the cause of death is ongoing. Reid was 25 and an incredible son, brother, friend, and professional wrestler. No words can describe the grief that Ric and his family are experiencing and they do request privacy during this devastating time”

Reid Flair, the son of legendary pro wrestler and former world champion Ric Flair, has died according to PWInsider.com. He was 25 years old.

There is no word on what caused the death as of today’s report.

Reid made his wrestling debut in the latter years of World Championship Wrestling (WCW) after completing a successful amateur wrestling career. .

We don’t expect Ric to be active in any scheduled Wrestlemania events as planned

Jack Swagger’s new court date will be on Tuesday, April 9th in Biloxi, Mississippi to face charges from his arrest last month. Swagger’s first court date was March 12th but it was continued to a later date by his lawyers, in part because he’s in the middle of WrestleMania season.

Jeff Hardy came to the ring & talked about becoming the #1 contender for the TNA World Title. Before Hardy could call out someone Bully Ray & Aces & Eights interrupted. Bully asked if Hardy wanted to call him out. Mr. Anderson talked about Hardy getting another second chance. Mr. Anderson called Hardy a giant disappointment. Hardy hit Anderson Knocking him off the apron to the floor. Aces & Eights attacked Hardy. Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Magnus & Eric Young came to the ring & Aces & Eights retreated. Hardy called out Anderson for a match tonight.

Chavo Guerrero Jr. & Hernandez came to the ring. Chavo said they were robbed last week. He said tonight is about payback. He said he talked to Hogan & Hogan added a stipulation for their match tonight where the winner is the #1 contender for the TNA World Tag Team Titles. Chavo called out Daniels & Kazarian.

#1 Contender Match for the TNA World Tag Team Titles: Chavo Guerrero Jr. & Hernandez vs (Bad Influence) Daniels & Kazarain: Chavo & Hernandez got the win to become the #1 contenders.

Backstage Taryn Terrell hanging part way out from behind dressing room door said she has a good idea who she is going to call out tonight & what she is going to wear.

Taryn Terrell came to the ring & called out Gail Kim. Gail came to the ring & said calling her out was a rookie mistake. Gail said Taryn has rubbed her the wrong way & that she isn’t the only one she has rubbed the wrong way. Gail said that someone wanted to call Taryn out tonight. Tara with Jesse came came to the ring. Gail & Tara attacked Taryn. Velvet Sky came to Taryn’s rescue & Gail & Tara retreated.

Backstage Velvet with Taryn was doing a interview for the camera about what happened. Taryn saw Gail & Tara walk by & took off after them. Taryn attacked Gail from behind & Velvet & Tara separated them.

Backstage Jeremy Borash introduced next weeks competitors for the Gut Check match next week, Adam Pearce & Magno.

Sting went to talk to Hogan but wasn’t allowed into the office by a security guard. Sting said he will have to try a different approach.

Backstage in Hogan’s office, Hogan was talking to Jeff Hardy about Hardy’s rematch with Bully Ray. Hogan apologized to Hardy Bully & Aces & Eights stealing the title from him. Hogan told Hardy to pick the stipulation for the rematch. Sting’s music was heard & Hogan said that he wasn’t suppose to be here & got up & left.

Sting came to the ring & said he wrong about Bully Ray & he needs to fix the problem but to do so he needs to be on the same page with Hogan. Sting called Hogan out so he could talk to him. Hogan came to the ring. Sting said he tried to apologize to Hogan twice already & is going to try a third time. Sting said if Hogan doesn’t accept his apology this time things could get a little nuclear here tonight. Hogan said it was because of Sting that he didn’t listen to his gut & made a decision that messed up the entire company. Sting told Hogan to man up & take ownership of it. Hogan took ownership of the decision he made & said he is tired of Sting getting in his face & told Sting to get out of his ring. Sting told Hogan to make him. Hogan ripped open his shirt & 2 security guards got between Sting & Hogan & they escorted Sting from the ring.

James Storm came to the ring & talked about AJ Styles actions the past couple of weeks. Storm called out AJ. AJ appeared up in the stands. Storm said they can handle this 2 ways. They could put a beer in one hand & talk about it or they could make a fist with the other hand & fight about it. Storm said either way is good with him but the choice is up to AJ. Aces & Eights members Wes Briscoe, Garett Bischoff & DOC attacked Storm & AJ walked away. Eric Young came to help but was beat down. Kurt Angle came to the ring & Aces & Eights retreated. Angle said where are you going & that he wasn’t done with them yet. Angle called them out for a 6 man tag match.

Kurt Angle, James Storm & Eric Young vs Wes Briscoe, Garett Bischoff & DOC: D’Lo Brown came out & distracted Angle & the referee. Bischoff wrapped a chain around his fist & swung at Angle but Angle was able to put him in a ankle lock. Briscoe rolled up Angle for the win.

Aces & Eights in their clubhouse. Bully, Devon & Mr. Anderson toasted the Aces & Eights victory. Bull said he can’t believe Hardy called out Anderson & that Hogan is letting Hardy pick the stipulation for their rematch. Anderson said Bully wont have to worry about that because Hardy wont be able to wrestle in Corpus Christi. Anderson went ballistic & hit the table with a ball-peen hammer & kept saying he is losing his mind.

Backstage Jeremy Borash introduced the competitors for next weeks X-Division Championship qualifying match. Sonjay Dutt, Mason Andrews & returning fro a 4 year absence Petey Williams.

Jeff Hardy vs Mr. Anderson: The referee got knocked out & Bischoff brought Anderson a ball-peen hammer. Anderson tried to hit Hardy with it but missed & Hardy hit Anderson with a Twist of Fate & picked up the hammer & hit Anderson. Anderson won by DQ. After the match Hardy hit Bischoff in the gut with the hammer.Hardy got a steal chair & hit Anderson across the back. Hardy set up the chair & used it to propel himself in the air to attack Anderson. Hardy brought a table into the ring & set it up. Hardy then got a ladder & set it up in the ring. Anderson fought back & tried to suplex Hardy brought the table but Hardy blocked it & hit Anderson with a Twist of Fate. Hardy climbed the ladder. Bully came to the ring & pulled Anderson out to safety. Hardy called for a mic. Hardy named the stipulation for their rematch in Corpus Christi in 2 weeks. Hardy said it will be no rules, no DQ, tables, ladders, chairs, stairs, Full Metal Mayhem.
