Hogan To Star In Hollywood Blockbuster?

wpid-Hulk-Hogan.jpg

Media outlets are reporting that Hulk Hogan will play a role in the upcoming Hollywood blockbuster, The Expendables 4. Hogan was a favorite to appear in The Expendables 3, but back in October he told his fans that he will appear in the 4th installment of the film.

The Expendables is a action film series starring Sylvester Stallone. Randy Couture has starred in the films. Ronda Rousey will star in The Expendables 3 & is rumored to be in the 4th film.

Chuck “iceman” Liddell says Ronda Rousey is paving the way for his daughter

20140423-142330.jpg

Yesterday at LAX former UFC star chuck “Iceman” Liddell was stopped by tmz to get his comments on what president Dana White Said about Rounda Rousey being the female chuck Liddell. Dana had made those comments simply because he believes that Rousey will fight anybody any place at anytime just like Liddell use to do. Liddell was actually flattered by the comments and couldn’t agree more. Liddell not only referred to Rousey as a great athlete but he went even further to say “she’s paving the way for my daughter”. Although with his daughter being only two it could be awhile before we see another Liddell in the octagon.
You can check out the full article here: http://m.tmz.com/#Article/2014/04/23/chuck-liddell-ronda-rousey-paving-the-way-video-dana-white

These kind of comments are what warm my heart because so often the media likes to portray Rousey in a negative light due to her confident and very blunt and honest attitude. The fact of that matter is though if it wasn’t for “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey there would be no women in the UFC and WMMA wouldn’t finally be getting the recognition it deserves, so in my opinion Rousey deserves all the success and more.

What do you think? Do you agree or disagree with me Liddell and white? Feel free to leave your comments. Lets discuss

The MLB & UFC collide

20140423-131733.jpg

Now I’m usually not a follower of Baseball, in fact I’m hardly a sports fanatic that is unless its pro wrestling or WMMA. However this Friday I will indeed be watching the opening pitch of the Orioles vs Royals game. Why you may ask? Well that’s because UFC women’s BATEMWEIGHT champ will be throwing the first pitch. Rousey will be in Baltimore to promote UFC172 which takes place this Saturday (4/26/14) live on PPV at 7PMpst/10PMest
Rousey will not be featured on this card, However her fellow 4Horsewomen buddy Jessamyn “The Gun” Duke will be apart of the prelims airing on fox sports 1 Saturday at 5PMpst/8PMest when she takes on Bethe Corriea

In the meantime feel free to check out more intro regarding Rousey’s opening pitch appearance

Invicta FC signs Stephanie “Snowflake” Egglink

20140422-132210.jpg

With the reestablishment of Invicta FC many WMMA fight fans are excited. (Invicta FC focuses solely on WMMA) and that’s why even casual fans love it so much. News broke nearly an hour ago that Invicta’s latest signy is XFC champion Stephanie “Snowflake Egglink.

Earlier this week Invicta also signed unbeaten Alexis Grasso. It seems that Invicta is trying to replenish a 115LBS devision.

There has been tones of talk regarding Egglink. She won three straight fights and went on to capture the title.

With both of these women being signed to the organization one can’t help but think that the future will be bright for Invicta. What are you guys thoughts on the recent news?
Let us know in the comments.

Dana White’s thoughts on GSP

20140418-170451.jpg

When GSP stepped down from the UFC in december after winning his fight against Johnny Hendricks due to a Controversial split decision many wondered what would be next for him. I mean he vacated his title and after all he’s arguably one of the best in the Welterweight division. Further more with That division ever growing by the day thus becoming more competitive there’s no telling what could happen. Many people in the industry including UFC president Dana White understood that GSP just needed to take some time off. However in March when GSP suffered his second ACL injury in the last year. It’s really hard to determine the future of GSP he’s still only in his early 30’s but his recent role in the blockbuster “captain America winter soldier” he may have other things then fighting on his mind. Further more it has been said that GSP made up to 5Million per fight so he obviously won’t be hurting for money anytime soon. (You can check out what Dana White said about GSP here)

So what do you guys thinkwill we see GSP back in the octagon or has this MMA great hung up his gloves for good?

Gina Carano possibly signing with UFC

Gina Carano is arguably one of the best in WMMA. She’s one of the women that took WMMA off the ground and got people to notice. She’s also one of the first WMMA stars to pursue an acting career outside of fighting. (And now Rousey Is following in those footsteps thus creating a path of her own) It’s been 5 years since we’ve seen Carano in an octagon surrounded by the cage. Could it be that we may not have to wait much longer? (Check out Dana Whites thoughts on that possibility here)
http://www.ibtimes.com/will-gina-carano-sign-ufc-dana-white-very-confident-return-talks-possible-fight-ronda-1573114

A dream fight that everyone wants to see is Carano vs Rousey. Two very high profile names squaring off against each other has to be good for business. In fact it sounds so good that the champ Ronda Rousey is even willing to fight in Gina’s weight class of 145. It should also be noted that Rousey has high respect for Carano. Carano on the other hand has one gol in mind and that’s to get back where she belongs and possibly become champ. It doesn’t matter if its Rousey or Davis. She just wants to fight.
So what’s next for Carano? Only time will tell

Cat Zingano Status

It was announced 6 days ago that UFC Women’s Battemweight Champion Ronda Rousey will be defending her title at UFC175 live on P.P.V. July 5th during international fight week against Invicta veteran Alexis Davis. Davis’ last victory against Jessica Eye at UFC170 indeed put her in title contention, but some fans had the question what about Zingano?
Yes what about Zingano? Cat Zingano earned the spot to be number 1 contender for the title last year when she knocked out Miesha Tate? So why hasn’t she got her shot?
As some of you may or may not know Zingano tore her ACL and had to back out of the fight. Not only that but the tragic death of her husband and training partner set her back as well. It’s been a tough year for Zingano indeed.
Yesterday at the TUF nations final press conference Dana White Stated that Zingano won’t be back anytime soon but she still has her spot to fight Rousey (you can read more of the article here) http://msn.foxsports.com/ufc/story/dana-white-cat-zingano-still-going-to-be-out-awhile-041614

With all this being said my prayers will be with Zingano and I know I speak for a lot of people when I say I can’t wait to see her back in the octagon. The fight between her and Rousey should be a site to see.

Do you guys think Davis was a good choice to step up against Rousey? Let me know, I for one can’t wait to see these two square off. I’m a fan of both but of corse my heart is with Rousey.

What’s next for Ronda Rousey?

20140412-133350.jpg

Other then Cyborg vs Rousey, Rousey vs Carano has been a dream fight for many WMMA fans for quite sometime. yesterday this article surfaced online discussing the possibility of this fight http://www.wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/2014/0411/573081/would-ronda-rousey-give-gina-carano-a-title-shot/

Rousey has went on record saying she would love to fight Carano. Rousey has a huge amount of respect for Carano and rightfully so because Carano had a dominating career in strikeforce and is indeed a pioneer for WMMA.
Although the women’s BATEMWEIGHT champion is completely game for this fight there’s a few contributing factors as to why it won’t happen. The most notable one is that Carano fights in a catch weight class a totally different class then the champ which means the title would NOT be on the line. Another argument would be that Carano hasn’t been in a cage in the last 5 years.
So what do you guys think? Is this a fight we will see in the future?

It should also be noted that yesterday it was announced that Rousey’s next bout will take place at UFC175 on Saturday July 5th against Alexis Davis.
What do you guys think about this bout. I for one am very excited.

The outcome of Lesnar vs Taker was possibly forshadowed years ago

In this video you can clearly here taker tell Lesnar “you wanna do it”

And when asked by Ariel what he said to him taker said “it’s a personal thing” and even when asked are you guys cool? Taker still said “it’s personal”

Maybe the question of “do you wanna do it” was pertaining to beating the streak. Could it be that undertaker hand picked Brock Lesnar four years ago?

What do you guys think?
See for yourselves
