Report – Hangman Page Returning To AEW Soon

Hangman Page is set to make his return to All Elite Wrestling in the very near future.

Page, who has been out of action since the AEW Revolution 2024 pay-per-view event back in March due to “personal reasons,” is expected to return soon.

While there is no official date set for his return just yet, Fightful Select is reporting that it’s expected to happen in the next month, likely by early July. The current expectation is that he will continue to be a heel.

As of this writing, there is no word on if Page’s time off will be added to his current deal. It is said that both sides knew the time off was coming in advance.

It’s worth noting that next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite will take place in Fairfax, VA, which is close to where Page resides.

Jeff Hardy’s Next Destination Following AEW Contract Expiration Reportedly Revealed

Jeff Hardy’s run with All Elite Wrestling seems to be coming to an end, with recent reports claiming that his contract is set to expire in the next few days. Hardy signed with the company in March 2022 but has had a stop-and-start tenure with the promotion due to legal troubles, personal problems, and injuries. The former WWE Champion is set to be a free agent on June 14, and it seems his next destination might have already been revealed.

According to PWInsider, Hardy is set to return to TNA Wrestling this weekend for the company’s Against All Odds event, as well as the upcoming TNA TV tapings in Cicero, Illinois. Against All Odds takes place on June 14, the day Hardy becomes a free agent, with the TV tapings taking place on June 15; PWInsider was unable to confirm exactly what role Hardy will play in the weekend’s festivities. Jeff’s brother, Matt Hardy, who originally revealed the approximate time Jeff’s contract with AEW was set to expire, is scheduled to main event Against All Odds, as he challenges Moose for the TNA World Championship.

Hardy has already spent a combined total of nine years in TNA Wrestling across two separate tenures. His initial run took place between 2004 and 2006, while his second run began in 2010 and didn’t end until 2017, where he and his brother left the promotion due to contract negotiations breaking down. During his time in TNA, he would hold the company’s World Tag Team Championships twice with his brother, and he TNA World Championship on three separate occasions, with only Kurt Angle, Bobby Lashley, and Sting having more reigns with that incarnation of the title than “The Charismatic Enigma.”

AEW’s FTR Out Of Action Indefinitely Due To Dax Harwood Injury Suffered At Dynasty PPV

One of AEW’s top tag teams will be shelved for an undetermined amount of time as FTR’s Dax Harwood took to X to announce an injury he first suffered at Dynasty that he effectively hid from the medical staff and the powers that be, which will now force him to rest until further notice.

Just before 9pm ET, Harwood posted a video more than five minutes long explaining just what went down, along with the caption, “An explanation that I feel I owe everyone. The fans, my boss, the medical team, and the whole roster. I appreciate you all, and I hope to see you soon. Top Guys, out.”

Harwood began with a disclaimer about the sometimes toxic world of social media, saying, “I know [there are] a lot of people, especially in the Twitter world, who don’t really care for me too much and that’s okay but I thought this was the best way that I could talk to the fans of AEW and the fans of FTR and finally get this off of my chest.” He then apologized to AEW President Tony Khan, to AEW staff, and specifically to its medical staff, with whom he admitted not being up front about the origin and the nature of the injury, which he would go on to explain in detail. “[At Dynasty], I gave Matt Jackson a Piledriver, and when I landed, it messed my lower back up really bad and caused a severe hematoma that appeared on my lower back,” he said. “As we know, that’s where a brunt of the bumps go for a professional wrestler. I thought I could tough through it.”

Alicia Atout Is All Elite, Confirms She’s Signed With AEW

Quietly, AEW has made some changes to their broadcasting team early in 2024. The promotion released long-time personality/ring announcer Dasha Gonzalez towards the end of March, and recently brought in Arkady Aura to serve as a backstage interviewer alongside Renee Paquette. And it looks as though the duo will be joined backstage by someone who previously had a cup of coffee in AEW.

Taking to X Wednesday night, Alicia Atout posted a photo of herself backstage at “AEW Dynamite,” revealing that she had signed with the promotion, and would be seeing fans every Wednesday. Atout wasted no time getting to work, conducting two social media exclusive interviews last night with Wheeler Yuta, following his emotional return after five months off recovering from a concussion, and Mark Briscoe after he defeated Brian Cage to qualify for the TNT Championship ladder match at Forbidden Door.
