Jeff Jarrett Signs Final Talent Deal with AEW: “The Last Outlaw” Eyes AEW World Championship

Jeff Jarrett, known as “The Last Outlaw,” made waves during the Fight for the Fallen edition of AEW Dynamite with a monumental announcement about his wrestling future. The multi-time champion and wrestling veteran revealed that he has re-signed with All Elite Wrestling, but there’s a twist—this will be the last in-ring talent deal of his storied career.

A Moment of Reflection

The announcement began backstage, where Jarrett was seen discussing his decision with his wife, Karen Jarrett, alongside long-time allies Jay Lethal, Satnam Singh, and Sonjay Dutt. Though they questioned whether he was certain about his choice, Jarrett remained resolute.

Later, he entered the ring for an emotional address, his guitar on a stand in the middle of the ring, boots slung around his neck—a symbolic nod to the possibility of retirement. Reflecting on his wrestling lineage, Jarrett posed the ultimate question: should “The Last Outlaw” ride off into the sunset? His answer? A resounding “Hell no!

Jarrett vowed that while this new contract marks the final chapter of his in-ring career, it will also be one of his most determined. He proclaimed he still has fuel left in the tank and plans to leave it all in the ring during this last run.

Setting His Sights on Gold

In true Jeff Jarrett fashion, the wrestling legend made it clear he’s not just sticking around to take a victory lap. He has his sights set firmly on the AEW World Championship, declaring it the ultimate goal of his final chapter. Not interested in the AEW Tag Team or Trios titles, Jarrett emphasized that the World Championship is the prize that matters most to him.

To back up his words, Jarrett announced his participation in the upcoming Casino Gauntlet Match on the January 8 episode of AEW Dynamite—an opportunity that could pave his path to the coveted AEW World Championship.

The Legacy of “The Last Outlaw”

Jeff Jarrett’s career spans decades, promotions, and generations, making him one of the most enduring figures in professional wrestling. This announcement not only solidifies his role in AEW’s immediate future but also highlights his unwavering passion for the business.

As “The Last Outlaw” embarks on his final ride, fans can expect vintage Jarrett—grit, charisma, and an unrelenting drive to etch his name among AEW’s elite. Whether he captures the AEW World Championship or not, this last run promises to be one for the history books.

Stay tuned to AEW Dynamite to see how this chapter of Jeff Jarrett’s illustrious career unfolds!

Tony Khan Confirms The End Of AEW Rampage For Now

After three years on the air, AEW Rampage is officially taking its final bow—at least for now. Tony Khan broke the news during Sunday’s AEW Dynamite taping, confirming that this Friday’s episode will be the last for the foreseeable future. The announcement, made to the live crowd, left room for a potential return down the line, but for now, Rampage will bid farewell as AEW looks toward the future of its programming.

The Final Episode: What to Expect

The final Rampage episode will feature four matches, taped at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. The card includes appearances from fan favorites like Private Party, Thunder Rosa, and HOOK. In the night’s biggest match, Chris Jericho defeated Anthony Bowens of The Acclaimed, though his ROH World Championship was not at stake.

The taping capped off AEW’s three-night stay at the iconic Hammerstein Ballroom, where they also held the ROH Final Battle pay-per-view and a Saturday edition of AEW Collision. Fans at the venue and watching at home praised the shows, signaling that AEW’s experiment with smaller venues may be paying off.

What’s Next for AEW?

While Rampage is wrapping up, speculation is swirling about what’s next for AEW’s television offerings. Rumors suggest that AEW has been in talks with another media company, with Fox frequently mentioned as a possible partner. Earlier this year, AEW trademarked the name “Shockwave,” sparking chatter that it could be the title of a new series. However, no official details have been announced.

AEW’s move to sunset Rampage comes on the heels of their new media rights deal with Warner Bros. Discovery, potentially signaling a shift in their overall strategy. Whether this means a fresh weekly show or other innovative programming, fans are eager to see how the company will evolve its approach.

A Farewell, But Not Goodbye?

Tony Khan’s phrasing—“for the foreseeable future”—keeps the door open for a Rampage return. In the meantime, AEW’s focus appears to be on refining its other flagship programs and exploring new opportunities for growth.

Toni Storm Returned To AEW On Dynamite ‘Winter Is Coming’

Toni Storm has returned to All Elite Wrestling.

On this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite ‘Winter Is Coming’, Storm made her return following the Mariah May’s successful AEW Women’s World title defense against Mina Shirakawa at the end of the show.

Storm’s classic music hit. She returned with her trademark baseball bat and black eye makeup, gone was the “Timeless” Tony Storm gimmick.

Thunder Rosa, who was sitting at ringside, was holding up a “WTF” sign and May locked eyes with the returning Storm, her glare speaking volumes as tension mounted. Storm struck a pose at the top of the ramp, making it clear that her intentions are far from subtle.

This dramatic return sets the stage for a major showdown in AEW’s women’s division. With Storm back in the mix, Mariah May’s reign could be in serious jeopardy. It’ll be interesting to see how Thunder Rosa, May, and the rest of the division respond to Toni Storm’s return.
