AJ Styles Promo Officially Goes Viral. Watch What Allen Jones Had To Say

AJ Styles has become a trending topic on twitter after his promo on Thursday night’s ‘Impact Wrestling” has gone viral online. Fresh of the heels of the AJ Lee promo on WWE Raw Monday night the TNA wrestling icon cut an equally intense “shoot” promo.

AJ Styles came to the ring to explain his actions last week helping the main event mafia defeat aces and eights. During the promo Styles referred to himself in the third person by his real name Allen Jones. He also got CM Punk fans worked up when he said he was ‘better then the best in the world’. He continued by saying that he deserved better including mentioning TNA president Dixie Carter by name and veteran commentator Mike Tenay.

AJ Styles has held the number 2 trending topic on Twitter as of 2.42AM EST.

WWE Re-Post’s AJ Lee’s Raw Promo Due To Viral Success With Popular Hashtag

The official WWE YouTube channel is capitalizing on the continued viral success of AJ Lee’s promo from this week’s Raw. The promo was already included with the end of the divas match but as the popularity of AJ’s promo continues to grow WWE has re-uploaded it without the divas match ending and left the commentary by Jerry Lawler and Micheal Cole at the end. They have also taken advantage of the hastag #PipeBombshell: The new video title reads #PipeBombshell: AJ Lee blasts the stars of ‘Total Divas’

The promo which went viral on twitter almost immediately has been compared to the 2011 promo by CM Punk where he “broke the fourth wall” discussing how he had been misused by WWE creative and other taboo “secrets” about the wrestling industry. While AJ Lee’s was obviously more scripted, it was clear that the WWE was trying to generate much of the same reaction. It appears that they were successful.

Among other realistic lines AJ Lee said during the promo none were probably more powerful then when she told the ‘Total Divas” stars that they were on reality television because they didn’t know how to act. This was a nod to the known fact that these performers portray characters and ring personas often times drastically different then their real life personality.

Stephanie McMahon Impressed By AJ Lee’s Promo On Raw

Stephanie McMahon noted on her Twitter that she was “very impressed” with AJ Lee’s promo on RAW this past Monday night. She wrote, “AJ owned it…I was very impressed #DivasChamp”

Ted Dibiase Jr Not To Renew His Contract With WWE

Ted Dibiase Jr. announced in the video above that he has decided not to re-sign and renew his contract with WWE. Dibiase said that the decision was personal, and that he wanted to pursue being a father and other opportunities.

Dibiase said that he has had “amazing life experiences” with WWE, and noted that he will miss the company and the fans. He stated that this is not necessarily permanent, but that this was something he needed to do right now.

TMZ Posts Footage Of Triple H And Stephanie McMahon Boxing

TMZ has posted footage of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon boxing at Gleason’s Gym in Brooklyn this past week. They were there to shoot footage for the new campaign with milk.

The man they trained with is Hector Roca, the same boxer who trained Hilary Swank for her role in Million Dollar Baby, among other celebrities. Roca told TMZ that the two trained for about an hour doing basic techniques with Stephanie showing some real flashes of promise in the ring. As for Triple H’s skills, Roca said, “boxing is not really his sport.”

Lesnar Vs. Taker at WrestleMania 30?

Ryback In Line For A Push, John Cena Insists On Facing Daniel Bryan, Update On Lesnar Vs. Taker - WrestlingInc.com

WWE apparently changed the planned finish to the CM Punk vs. Brock Lesnar SummerSlam match in the middle of last week. This could be because The Undertaker has agreed to work Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX and if that’s going to be one of the main events, Lesnar had no business losing at SummerSlam and going into WrestleMania with a 2-3 record.

Major Push Coming For Ryback?

– Ryback is in line for a major push coming out of his current bullying gimmick. Those who work in WWE merchandising have been told to go heavy on coming up with ideas for him. Usually when they get that word it means not just a big push but a babyface turn.
