Linda McMahon says she believes WWE Hall of Famer Donald Trump would make a “very good president” … and this morning on CNN, she listed off all the reasons.
McMahon appeared on the news network Wednesday to talk about the Presidential hopeful/reality star and said he’s not only capable of running the country, but she thinks he’d be great for the job.
Linda explains, “I’ve known Donald for over 20 years and when I’ve been asked before I’ve said, ‘look, let me tell you what I know about him personally.’ He’s loyal. I said he absolutely is a good business man, he hires smart people around him, he is very patriotic, he’s a good man and very accomplished. And I think he would make a very good president.”
TMZ reports that police are investigating Chyna’s death as a possible overdose, mainly because of her history with drugs. Prescription bottles were found in her home but there were no illegal drugs and no signs of foul play.
Chyna was found in her Redondo Beach, California home on Wednesday at the age of 45. She was found in bed by a friend who checked on her after Chyna went several days without answering her phone. The friend found her unresponsive and called 911.
TNA was reportedly evicted from their current offices at Cummins Station in Nashville and will be moving all operations to a 20-25,000 square foot warehouse that ShopTNA.com has been using at the end of this month. Production will be moving to NorthStar Productions in the same city because there is no room for TV production at the warehouse.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the company fell behind on rent and could no longer afford to stay at the Cummins Station location. They previously moved the offices to the basement where TV production was done as a cost-cutting move but fell behind and were essentially evicted, effective at the end of this month. The company had known about the move for some time.
TNA officials continue to talk with potential investors and partners. The Observer reports that new potential investors are in play and have put money into keeping TNA TV going but it does not look like they have purchased an interest in the company yet.
There is a deal that reportedly revolves around which side ends up with controlling interest, something TNA obviously does not want to give up. However, there’s a feeling that TNA needs the deal to happen just so they can survive, which gives the investors a lot of leverage to gain controlling interest.
WWE announced Monday that the Big Boss Man will be the next inductee into the company’s Hall of Fame. CBS Sports’ Adam Silverstein first reported the news of his induction.
Boss Man joins Sting, The Godfather and the Fabulous Freebirds in this year’s class.
WWE issued the following:
Big Boss Man to be inducted into WWE Hall of Fame’s Class of 2016
The WWE Hall of Fame now finally has its law and order. As first reported by CBSsports.com , the newest inductee to the WWE Hall of Fame is The Big Boss Man.
Boss Man, a former Cobb County, Ga., corrections officer turned sports-entertainer decked out in full police uniform, first debuted in WWE in the late ’80s. Managed by the legendary Slick, the ruthless Boss Man gained notoriety for not only defeating his opponents with ease, but also handcuffing them to the ropes and then bashing them with his patented nightstick. Though he had no trouble muscling opponents around, Boss Man was also deceptively quick and agile for a performer who weighed over 300 pounds, often being heralded as one of WWE’s best, and most unique, athletes. He had memorable encounters with the likes WWE Hall of Famers Randy Savage, Koko B. Ware and Shawn Michaels, and he also joined forces with another monstrous Superstar, Akeem, to form the titanic tag team known as The Twin Towers.
Though he initially displayed a warped view on justice, the former cop eventually showed that he did have morals. When “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase attempted to procure his services, The Big Boss Man declared that he couldn’t be bought. The bold move led to Boss Man becoming one of the WWE Universe’s most beloved Superstars, an enforcer of law and order who made evildoers pay for their transgressions. This new demeanor from the Boss Man led to his participation in some of the more unique matches of the 1990s, such as a Jailhouse Match against The Mountie at SummerSlam 1991, where the loser spent the night in a New York City jail, and a Nightstick Match with ex-con Nailz at Survivor Series 1992.
Boss Man went on to compete around the world for several years in the mid-’90s, including a stint in WCW, before returning to WWE in 1998. Adorned fully in black riot squad gear, Boss Man became Mr. McMahon’s personal security detail in the villainous Corporation. He faced off with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Mick Foley and The Undertaker, as well as captured the World Tag Team Championship and, on four occasions, the WWE Hardcore Championship. The Big Boss Man also engaged in infamous rivalries with Big Show and Al Snow, the latter of which resulted in one of the more notorious matches in history, the Kennel from Hell Match, at Unforgiven 1999.
Although the Boss Man passed away in 2004, the memories he created for the WWE Universe will surely live on forever. Because of that, he will be rightfully celebrated as the newest member of the hallowed WWE Hall of Fame on April 2, the night before WrestleMania 32!
The final Royal Rumble betting odds are in and there have been some major shift, even in a championship match.
Kalisto is now favored to regain the United States Championship over rival Alberto Del Rio. The two have played hot potato with the title belt over the past month.
Triple H, who was already a favorite in the Royal Rumble match, also jumped out to a huge favorite. Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar and Bray Wyatt still round out the top four.
The way a betting line works is that if you take the under (-170), you have to bet $170 to yield $100. If you take the over (+150), a $100 bet would earn you $150.

As most reports have made it almost a given that AJ Styles and fellow “Bullet Club” members are on their way to the WWE as soon as Sunday’s Royal Rumble, AJ Styles, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows along with the Young Bucks had a special moment at tonight’s ROH live event in Duluth, GA.
The five met in the middle of the ring and shared an embrace while ‘too sweeting’ each other. Matt Jackson posted a video on Twitter with the hashtag #CurtainCall.
In an update on the situation between TNA and the WWE-bound AJ Styles, Styles’ agent and lawyer Bill Behrens issued the following statement to PWInsider:
No contract was ever finalized nor signed by the parties.
That I would need to be involved in the contract process was known by TNA prior to my involvement and understood by them.
TNA and its 1st lawyer did not present in a timely fashion a contract that accurately reflected previous discussions at all. That created great concern tied to past experiences. In that time and prior there was other interest and there were other firm offers on the table and other discussions.
TNA was aware of other interest and various conflicts. TNA was aware a final contract was required. It was creating that contract and controlled that timetable. Too much time passed early on. Other things came into play. No contract was ever finalized with TNA.
To suggest I make any decision for my clients is to misunderstand my role and diminish the role each talent has in making their own decisions, and insults the talent in the process.
