NXT ARRIVAL: Paige And Emma Are The Future For Women’s Wrestling

If you were lucky enough to witness the NXT Women’s Championship match last night during NXT Arrival on the WWE Network you witnessed the best example of what a women’s wrestling match can and ALWAYS should be. Paige and Emma are both talented and great examples of what every single match should be like for female wrestlers. WWE creative take notice and give us more.

Everyone always goes to talk about the males in this sport but in my opinion these two talented wrestlers were the ones who truly won the hearts of fans last night.

Jake The Snake Roberts Has Cancer

TMZ – Jake The Snake Roberts has a cancerous tumor behind his knee … and the wrestler says it’s slowly growing into his muscle — so he needs emergency surgery to remove the growth.

Roberts tells TMZ … he noticed a tumor behind his knee the size of a half dollar last month so he had it tested … and on Friday doctors told him the test came back positive for cancer.

Jake says he’s scheduled to go under the knife Tuesday morning … and after a few weeks off — he’ll make his return to Jersey Championship Wrestling on March 14th — cancer, or not.

Jake adds, “If the devil can’t defeat me, cancer doesn’t stand a chance in hell! Pray for sick children who face this horrible disease ’cause The Snake will be just fine.”

As for his upcoming induction into the WWE Hall of Fame … the wrestler says nothing will stop him from getting to New Orleans for the ceremony.

My thoughts on the UFC170 main event

20140223-030718.jpg

So now that I’m laying here with no distractions it’s time for me to give you my thoughts on tonight’s UFC170 main event. In the main event we saw undefeated silver medalist in wrestling Sara Mcmann vs undefeated Bronze medalist in Judo Ronda Rousey for the ufc women’s batemweight title. From the get go we knew history was going to be made because no matter how it turned out someone would no longer be undefeated by the end of the fight.

I’m not gonna lie I really wish this fight would’ve gone longer then it did. In fact I really thought it was. Ronda is one bad b**** though. She finished Sara Mcmann in one min and 6 secs. Guess what though folks? It wasn’t by an ARMBAR it was a TKO!!! Some may say that the ref stopped to early but even Mcmann said she understood why it was stopped. She got kicked in the liver she was buckled over holding her stomach, once she was on the floor she got a few punches to the face and that’s all she wrote.

You don’t have to be a fan to realize that Ronda Rousey is indeed the best WMMA fighter in the ufc at this very moment.

Bottom line is that tonight Rousey made history. Not only was this her first TKO in her whole career but it was also the fastest TKO in women’s Batemweight history!

In the post fight interview she said she promised her couch that she would win by TKO. Not only is Ronda a great fighter but she sticks to her word and she means what she says. And that is what a true champion is.

That being said Ronda now adds another win to her record. She is now 9-0 and 12-0 in her overall career. Rousey is a force to be reckon with for ages to come and I couldn’t be any happier.

CM Punk At Saturday’s UFC Event

CM Punk attended the UFC 170 event in Las Vegas last night and watched the show from cageside with UFC president Dana White.

UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey needed just 66 seconds to dispatch fellow Olympian Sara McMann with a knee to the liver. While some thought that the stoppage was a bit pre-mature, UFC commentator Joe Rogan noted during the post-event show that Punk agreed with referee Herb Dean calling the fight.

“I looked down at CM Punk who was sitting cageside, and he looked at me and said, ‘good stoppage,'” Rogan said. “And I agree, good stoppage.”
