Undertaker Returns To WWE – Ready For Wrestlemania

The Undertaker has returned to the WWE after reports questioned if he would participate in this year’s Wrestlemania. The Undertaker made a shock appearance at Saturday night’s WWE house show in Waco, Texas, teaming up with Sheamus to take on Wade Barrett and Damien Sandow. reports BleacherReport.com adding This marked The Undertaker’s first official WWE appearance since he defeated Triple H last year in a thrilling bout at WrestleMania 28.

We’re guessing the choice to return at a house show event was intentional to evaluate his status in the ring

Glenn Beck Declines Invitee To Appear on WWE Raw Monday

Glenn Beck has reportedly turned down an opportunity to rumble with the WWE. The wrestling organization invited Beck to appear on Monday’s show, after Beck took issue with new WWE character Zeb Colter, who he feels is “demonizing” the Tea Party. TheBlaze.com reports Beck has responded to the request, saying “Unfortunately I am currently booked doing anything else.”

Reading between the lines of the Jack Swagger gimmick – Mr. McMahon / WWE up to their Wrestlemania tricks

So we fell for it again? The gullible wrestling fans and mainstream media have falling into yet another trap by the mischievous mind of Vince McMahon and the WWE. By now I’m sure most of you are aware that conservative figure Glenn Beck has been “Invited” to share his reactions to Jack Swagger’s gimmick and the “outrage” it has spawned in the conservative world. What we fail to realize is that all of us just might have fallen into yet another trap set by the WWE to gain mainstream coverage of Wrestlemania.

I’ve been reflecting on the events of the past week and when I read that Glenn Beck has been invited to Raw it all clicked for me. You see each year the WWE works hard at trying to find a way to get the mainstream media to cover Wrestlemania. Every year around this time something always seams to come up that grabs the medias attention. Let’s face it the WWE and others have learned to utilize public figures for their product over the years. Remember when Vince McMahon upset Donald Trump? That lead to a Wrestlemania moment where Trump ended up shaving McMahon’s head.

Jack Swagger has one of the main events for Wrestlemania (for now) next to The Rock of course

Let’s face it the WWE has always enjoyed pushing the button on those hot-button issues and are willing to go all out and admit they are entertainment, do storylines and whatever else it will take to make the mainstream media belive in whatever is going on during Wrestlemania season

I predict we will see Glenn Beck involved in some way at Wrestlemania. Things aren’t always what they seam.

 

TNA Recap: February 21 2013

Hulk Hogan came to the ring & talked about what happened at the end of the show last week. Hogan said out of something really bad came something really good. Hogan has took the week to think about it & has made a decision on who the #1 contender for the TNA World Championship Title will be. Hogan chose Bully Ray as the # 1 contender & will face Jeff Hardy at Lockdown. Bull came to the ring & said he was in shock & said to Hogan you know that I’m hurt don’t you. Hogan called Bully the toughest S.O.B. in the company. Bully thanked Hogan & said that all he wanted to do was make him proud. Bully said that he wants to make Hogan & Brooke happy & become champion. Bully suggested that there be a 6 man tag match tonight with Aces & Eights vs Bully, Sting & Hogan. Bully said to Hogan “What do you say dad lets kick some Aces & Eights ass brother”. Hogan said to Bully “you got a deal brother”.

Backstage Austin Aries & Bobby Roode was talking & Daniels & Kazarian walked up. Daniels talked about their 8 man tag match tonight. Daniels told Aries & Roode to follow their lead & walked off.

8 Man Tag Match: Daniels, Kazarian, Austin Aries & Bobby Roode vs Chavo Guerrero Jr., Hernandez, Joseph Park & James Storm: Later in the match Aries & Roode walked away leaving Daniels & Kazarian on their own. Chavo, Hernandez, Park & Storm got the win.

Robbie E vs Rockstar Spud: Late in the match Robbie E tried to grab the clip board from Robbie T but Robbie T wouldn’t let go of it. Rockstar Spud took advantage & got the win. After the match Robbie E yelled at & slapped Robbie T. Robbie T got angry & removed his shirt & Robbie E ran out of the ring. Robbie T left the ring & Robbie E ran up the ramp & to the back.

4-Way Elimination Knockouts Championship Match: Velvet Sky vs Gail Kim vs Miss Tessmacher vs Knockouts Champ Tara: Jesse came to the ring with Tara. Brooke came down to ringside for the match & instructed referee Taryn Terrell to send Jesse to the back. Knockouts Champ Tara was the first one eliminated by Gail. Velvet eliminated Miss Tessmacher. Velvet eliminated Gail for the win to become the new Knockouts Champion.

Backstage Sting talked to Hogan about their 6 man tag match. Hogan told Sting to watch his back. Sting said we will put an end to this tonight. Sting went into the other room & talked to Bully Ray. Bully asked Sting if he he talked to Hogan & if Hogan was cool with everything. Sting said they are all in. Bully said that it is cool to be tagging with Hogan & Sting. Sting said tonight we are going to put an end to Aces & Eights, Lockdown isn’t even going to happen. Sting said to Bully that it is good tagging with you. Sting said lets go tear some heads off.

Aces & Eights member Garett Bischoff vs Samoa Joe: Wes Briscoe jumped in the ring & attacked Joe. Joe won by DQ. Kurt Angle came to the ring to help Joe & Bischoff & Briscoe bail & ran into the crowd. Angle grabbed a mic & said that he hasn’t forgotten about them. Angle announced that he will go one on one with Briscoe inside the steel cage at Lockdown.

X-Division Championship Match: Kenny King vs X-Division Champ Rob Van Dam: RVD got the win to retain the X-Division championship.

Backstage Brooke talked to Hogan about the 6 man tag match. Brooke asked Hogan if he was sure & that he doesn’t have to do it. Hogan said that he has been humiliated, pushed around, spit on, threatened & the family has been beat down. He said that he needs to do this for himself & his family. He told Brooke that her husband will be in the ring with him & Sting the greatest wrestler who has ever lived will be in the ring with him tonight. Brooke told Hogan to tell them to protect him & said to be careful & to have fun.

Aces & Eights members Devon, Mr. Anderson & D.O.C. vs Sting, Bully Ray & Hulk Hogan: Hogan didn’t come to the ring. Aces & Eights jumped Sting & Bully from behind. The match started & it was 3 one 2. Late in the match Aces & Eights members brought out Brooke & a beaten up Hogan. Bully left the ring to go help & to check on Brooke & Hogan. The Aces & Eights member ran to the back. Hogan complained about his knee. In the ring Aces & Eights took advantage of the 3 on 1 against Sting & got the win. After the match Aces & Eights gave Sting a beat down while Bully & Brooke checked on Hogan.

Raw Recap: February 18 2013

John Cena came to the ring & talked about the championship matches for Wrestle Mania, Jack Swagger vs Alberto Del Rio & his match vs The Rock. CM Punk came to the ring with Paul Heyman. Punk asked Cena if he is sure that he wants to fight The Rock. Punk said that is taking the easy way out. Punk said that The Rock beat him fair & square last night but he had Rock pinned for a 18 count before that & Rock had also struck a WWE Official & should have been disqualified & lost the title. Punk said that Cena has never beat him. Cena said that he earned the right to go to Wrestle Mania & that Punk couldn’t get the job done. Cena said that Punk has to set this one out & that for once it’s not about Punk. Punk said Cena got lucky in the Royal Rumble & hasn’t earned anything. Punk said that Cena wont beat Rock again this year & that Cena can’t win the big one. Cena asked Punk what he wants. Punk asked Cena to walk away. Cena said no, he just isn’t going to hand over the golden ticket to Wrestle Mania. Cena said that he will let Punk earn the golden ticket. Cena challenged Punk to a match with the stipulations that if Cena wins Punk has to shut up & go away & if Punk wins he gets the WWE Title shot vs The Rock at Wrestle Mania. Cena said lets do it right here right now. Punk said that was a stupid decision but not going to do it tonight. Punk said he will do it own his terms. Punk said lets do it next week. Cena said O.K. go ahead & take a week to get ready. Cena said he will beat Punk next week & go to Wrestle Mania & beat The Rock & then we will no the Champ is here.

Josh Mathews is backstage with Sheamus & Sheamus talked about losing the match at The Elimination Chamber. Ryback is pacing back & forth. Sheamus stopped Ryback & said that they have to adapt & overcome. Sheamus asked Ryback if he is a machine or some kind of mindless neanderthal. Ryback grabbed Sheamus by the collar & Chris Jericho came up & broke it up & got between them. Jericho said they should be upset with The Shield not each other. Jericho said that he has done it before with the NWO & Nexus. Jericho said that they have to do whatever it takes to save the company. Jericho said that he loves the WWE & will never wrestle for another company. Jericho said that they have to stop The Shield & will talk to Vickie Guerrero & get a match for Jericho, Sheamus & Ryback vs The Shield. Ryback said “feed me The Shield”.

Sin Cara vs Mark Henry: Henry got the win. After the match Henry picked up Cara & was going for another World’s Strongest Slam when The Great Khali came to the ring. Henry dropped Cara & got ready for Khali but then bailed out of the ring. Henry mocked Khali’s dancing. Henry told Khali to dance because that is all Khali is good for.

Vickie Guerrero announced on Twitter that Jericho gets his wish & made the match of Jericho, Sheamus & Ryback vs The Shield.

Promo was showed for Fandango.

No DQ match: Antonio Cesaro vs The Miz: Miz got the win by tap out with the figure 4 leg lock.

Youtube video was showed of Zeb Colter & Jack Swagger. Zeb talked about letting people cross our borders looking for handouts. Zeb said that if they want a handout him & Swagger will give them one in form of a ticket to right back where they came from. We The People.

Backstage Daniel Bryan said to Kane that he doesn’t feel comfortable teaming with him after what happened last night. Bryan said that he asked Vickie for a singles match tonight & he is facing Swagger & told Kane that he doesn’t want him to come out there with him. Kane said he will get his own match & doesn’t want Bryan to come out with him. Kane said that he doesn’t deal with snakes. Randy Orton walked up & asked if someone was talking about him. Orton said that Kane used to be a monster but not now that he has been hugging & going to therapy. Orton said that Kane is more like Barney The Dinosaur these days. Bryan laughed.

Vickie was backstage on the phone. Paul Heyman walked up & said you sent for me. Vickie told Heyman that she has some dramatic news for him that will affect his career & life. Heyman asked what it is & Vickie said she will tell him later in the ring. Heyman said that he doesn’t like surprises.

Dolph Ziggler vs Alberto Del Rio: Del Rio got the win by tap out. After the match Big E Langston attacked Del Rio. Langston said to Del Rio that his time is up. Ziggler was going to cash in the Money In The Bank briefcase but Ricardo Rodriguez grabbed the briefcase & took off with it. Langston chased after him Ricardo dropped the briefcase halfway up the ramp. AJ went & got it & brought it back to Ziggler. Del Rio got back up & laid out Ziggler with a enziguri.

Wade Barrett was in the ring talking about being the star of the movie Dead Man Down & showed a clip from the movie. Sheamus appeared on the screen & said that his friend Colin Farrel is the real star of the movie.

Brodus Clay, Tensai & Naomi vs Primo, Epico & Rosa: Brodus, Tensai & Naomi got the win.

Jack Swagger & Zeb Colter was in the ring. Swagger talked about winning the Elimination Chamber match. Swagger said tonight is about America & the State of the Union. Swagger said that only one man is honest enough to deliver it – Zeb Colter. Zeb talked about the Bill of Rights & having freedom of speech. Zeb said that the State of the Union is pathetic but it’s not America’s fault. Zeb blamed it on people crossing our borders looking for handouts. Zeb said that America has a problem that needs to be fixed. Zeb said that Swagger is a man who can fix the problem. Zeb talked about The World Title match at Wrestle Mania. He said that Swagger is a real American & Del Rio only came to America to reap the awards. Zeb said that Swagger will win the World Title & reclaim America at Wrestle Mania.

Jack Swagger vs Daniel Bryan: Swagger got the win by tap out with the Patriot Lock.

Vickie & Heyman in the ring. Vickie said that she is announcing a assistant. She announced that Brad Maddox is her assistant. Maddox came to the ring & said that McMahon was happy him & gave him this opportinity. Maddox & Vickie argue over what the name of his position is called. Heyman aske if that was the big news & said that he doesn’t care what they have to say & said that he was leaving. McMahon appeared on the screen & said that wasn’t the big news. McMahon showed footage from last week where Heyman said that he would do anything if McMahon added the stipulations to the WWE title match at Elimination Chamber. McMahon said that next week him & Heyman are going to fight.

Chris Jericho, Sheamus & Ryback vs The Shield: The Shield got the win.

Kofi Kingston vs Damien Sandow: Sandow attacked Kofi before the bell can even ring & Sandow slammed Kofi into the ring post & Kofi fell to the floor. R-Truth came to the ring & went after Sandow & gave Sandow a beat down. R-Truth helped Kofi back to his feet & to the back.

Another promo was showed for Fandango.

Randy Orton vs Kane: Bryan came down to the ring & caused Kane to get distracted. Orton took advantage & hit Kane with a RKO for the win.

A marching band played & lined both sides of the isle. The Rock came to the ring. The Rock said that the best in the world wasn’t good enough & the Rock said he beat Punk’s butt 2 pay-per views in a row. Rock said that he is going to Wrestle Mania as the WWE Champion but not with this belt. Rock said that the WWE Title should never look like a toy & should never spin. Rock gave the title to a crew member & told him to take it to the back. Rock said the title should inspire & be worthy to be worn by great men like Sammartino, Hulk Hogan & Steve Austin. The Rock unveiled the new WWE Championship belt which it has a Brahma Bull on the side plates of the belt. Rock talked about whop he will face at Wrestle Mania Cena or Punk. Rock said that there is one man that he wants to face because he brings out the best in him. Before Rock could name the person that he wants to face Cena came out & Punk attacked Cena from behind & laid him out. Punk gad the old title belt in his hands. Punk thew it down to the ground & pointed at The Rock. Rock was in the ring ready to fight Punk but Punk walked to the back.

WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon and New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu reveal WrestleMania XXX’s location will be at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on April 6, 2014.
