Fans of independent wrestling promotion MLW (Major League Wrestling) will be happy to hear that they’ve announced a new streaming partnership. Founder Court Bauer spoke with Sports Illustrated to discuss their new deal with Pro Wrestling TV, which will begin Nov 3.
MLW began back in 2002 and ran until 2004 before shuttering its doors for a while. A revival for the promotion took place in 2017, and their weekly series Fusion can be viewed on MLW’s YouTube channel. Initially, the program began its run on FITE TV, with a Spanish-language broadcast available on beIN Sports.
Bauer stated,
“Pro Wrestling TV is our new home for streaming. It kicks off in November with Battle Riot IV. We’re bringing our weekly series, Fusion, and we have some big projects coming in 2023. It’s so important to be on a streaming service that is free for viewers. Now, on PWTV, people will be able to access our specials and our weekly show, and it’s all going to be free. We’ll still have a linear presence on cable, as well as our long-term partner with beIN Sports, which we’ll be sharing more about soon. Over time, our entire catalog will be available on PWTV. Since it dates back 20 years, we’ll be migrating it over in batches. You’ll be able to watch CM Punk from 2002, as well as Jacob Fatu and Microman from 2022.”
Pro Wrestling TV’s president Brandon Blackburn added, “The acquisition of MLW is our biggest to date. We both share the same passion of creating something of real value for the pro wrestling fan. More original content is going to arrive in 2023, so we’re looking to build with MLW and help bring them to new heights.”
Pro Wrestling TV (PWTV) launched earlier this year. Currently, the streaming service offers content from Lucha Libre AAA and Maria Kanellis’ Women’s Wrestling Army. MLW’s “Battle Riot” event from this past June will mark the promotion’s premiere on the platform, which featured current WWE performers Karrion Kross and Scarlett. Reportedly, PWTV will air exclusive content of the duo’s departure from MLW when the promotion debuts.
Bauer added, “We’re loading up our episodes and making sure we give the fans everything we have. There is a lot happening on this platform, and we’re excited to be part of it.”

There have been a lot of reports this year about cost-cutting across the various Warner Bros. Discovery networks, which has caused concern about the future of AEW as they approach negotiations for the next television deal.
The Hollywood Reporter has an interview with Warner Bros. Discovery US Networks Group chair and chief content officer Kathleen Finch.
In the interview, Finch seemed happy with the ratings that AEW has done. AEW usually ranks number 1 among all programs in the key demos on Wednesday nights, which has been touted in recent press releases sent out by Warner Bros. Discovery.
Finch noted that they are looking at adding more wrestling content.
“We really play in the sports space. One of the things that we’re doing around sports is creating shoulder programming to hold onto those fans. AEW [All Elite Wrestling] pulls huge numbers, so we are working with the wrestling team to figure out what new kind of content can we build that’s not in a wrestling ring.”

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, known together as the Good Brothers, made their return to the WWE last night.
A lot of familiar faces have been finding their way back to the WWE within the last few months. Some of these names include Johnny Gargano, Sarah Logan, Dexter Lumis, Candice LeRae, and, most recently, Bray Wyatt.
Last night, two more former WWE superstars returned to the company: Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, known together as the Good Brothers. Rumors flew about earlier in the day saying that the pair would be re-signing with WWE, but those rumors came to fruition much faster than anyone expected.
Finn Balor’s Judgment Day stable stood in the ring to cut a promo. Balor called out AJ Styles and told him to come to the ring; for the past few weeks, Balor had been recruiting Styles to Judgment Day with no success. Styles came to the ring and pretended to accept Finn’s offer. In reality, though, he was reintroducing his good friends and teammates, Gallows and Anderson.
They were among the crowd released due to “budget cuts” in 2020.
During their time away from WWE, Gallows and Anderson competed in AEW, IMPACT, and New Japan Pro Wrestling. They won the IMPACT Tag Team Championships. In NJPW, Karl Anderson won the NEVER Openweight Championship and is technically still billed as champion. He was supposed to defend at Battle Autumn on November 5.
NJPW updated the Battle Autumn card following The Good Brothers’ WWE re-debut, but not because Anderson needed to be removed from it. The Never Openweight title defense against Hikuleo remains, and according to Wrestling Observer, it will go ahead as planned. The show takes place in Osaka, Japan on the same day as WWE’s Crown Jewel, so don’t expect to see The Good Brothers on the first Saudi show without Vince McMahon in charge.
This clearly wasn’t a case of Gallows and Anderson showing up in WWE without permission, nor the pair finding a loophole or keeping a title in their possession after their contracts lapsed. NJPW has retweeted WWE’s clip showing the pair as they rushed to the ring to flank Styles. A deal must have been struck, but the finer details of that deal currently remain unclear.
Gallows and Anderson returning and confirming WWE has some sort of working relationship comes just days after Tony Khan revealed details about a conversation he had with CEO Nick Khan. The AEW owner spoke with Nick in 2021 following reports WWE had spoken to NJPW about working together. Tony called Nick a con man live on Dynamite after being assured by NJPW that no such deal was in place.

The TV ratings for the first two episodes of Women of Wrestling have been revealed by Wrestlenomincs.
According to the report from Wrestlenomics, the first episode, which aired on September 18, was watched by 281,000 viewers in syndication. The episode drew a 0.03 in the 18-49 demographic.
ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group is the company that distributes the series in the United States and internationally. WOW is available to watch in 50 cities, including Chicago, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Brooklyn, San Antonio, Flint, and Philadelphia. A full list of channels was exclusively shared via PWInsider.
The second episode of WOW, which aired on September 25, saw the key demo rise to 0.06, though the episode was only watched by 273,000 viewers.
It was also noted in the report that WOW demonstrated a larger portion of female viewers than any nationally televised wrestling show. In the first episode, there were 18,000 male viewers in the 18-49 demographic, while it was 26,000 female viewers in the 18-49 demo.
The second episode was 40,000 male viewers in the 18-49 key demo, while it was only 39,000 female viewers in the 18-49 demo. Wrestlenomics noted that WWE “Raw” and “SmackDown” average about 40% female viewers in the 18 to 49 key demo, while AEW shows are usually around 33%.
The promotion is owned by Los Angeles Laker owner Jeanie Buss. WOW was created by David McLane, who is also the current Executive Producer of production. Former WWE Superstar AJ Mendez (FKA AJ Lee) is also the executive producer and color commentator for WOW.

Newly returned Bray Wyatt soon won’t be the only Rotunda family member in WWE.
In a new report from Bryan Alvarez of F4Wonline, Wyatt’s younger brother, Bo Dallas is expected to return to WWE “very soon.”
WWE released Dallas on April 15, 2021, after being with the promotion since 2008. Samoa Joe, Mickie James, Chelsea Green, Tucker, Kalisto, Cassie Lee (FKA Peyton Royce), and Jessie McKay (FKA Billie Kay) were also released on April 15.
During his career, he was the tag team partner to Curtis Axel and they were known as “The B-Team.” He and Axel held the “Raw” Tag Team Titles. Dallas is also a former “NXT” Champion and a WWE 24/7 Champion. Before his release, his last WWE match was at the 2019 WWE Crown Jewel event on October 31. The match was a World Cup Tag Team Turmoil match and Dallas teamed with Axel.
Dallas is currently in a relationship with former “SmackDown” Women’s Champion Liv Morgan. Dallas and Morgan currently run a farm together and Dallas was also working in the real estate business.
As noted, Wyatt made his WWE return on Saturday night at Extreme Rules after the main event match between Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle. For weeks, WWE teased his return with QR codes and Jefferson Airplane’s “White Rabbit.”
Dallas and Wyatt’s father is “IRS” Mike Rotunda and their grandfather is WWE Hall of Famer Blackjack Mulligan.

The fallout from WWE Extreme Rules will also be felt. The event saw Bray Wyatt make his shocking return to the company, revealing himself to be the man behind the “White Rabbit” clues seen on WWE programming in recent weeks.
Renee Paquette might join her husband, AEW World Champion Jon Moxley in All Elite Wrestling, according to a new report from Fightful Select.
Fightful was reportedly told by several WWE sources that it’s believed that Paquette is headed to AEW. Fightful reached out to Paquette and AEW, but they have yet to confirm the move.
It was also noted in the report that GiveMeSport’s Louis Dangoor heard that WWE had reached out to Paquette about returning to the company.
The former WWE “Raw” commentator and the backstage interviewer was with WWE for eight years before leaving in August 2020. Paquette was also the host of “WWE Backstage,” which aired on FS1.
Since leaving WWE, Paquette published the cookbook “Messy In The Kitchen: My Guide to Eating Deliciously, Hosting Fabulously and Sipping Copiously” and created her own podcast “The Sessions with Renee Paquette.”
She also worked with UFC and former Strikeforce star Miesha Tate for the show, “Throwing Down With Renee & Miesha.” It was available on Sirius XM Fight Nation. As noted earlier this week, Paquette has a new series with the Cincinnati Bengals. The series is called ” Renée All Dey.”
It was reported that Moxley signed a five-year extension with AEW. He is set to not only wrestle for the company but will be a coach and mentor. Paquette had commented on her husband’s new contract on Friday night via Twitter.
“So proud of Jon! Just casually watching him carve out his own legacy in real time,” tweeted Paquette.
