The cause of death for former AEW and WWE wrestler Pac has been confirmed by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.
According to findings shared Friday with California Post reporter Edward Lewis, the medical examiner determined that Pac, whose real name was Benjamin Satterley, died from bronchial asthma. His death was classified as natural.
Pac was found unconscious inside a rental car in the parking lot of a restaurant in Des Plaines, Illinois, on September 27. He was later pronounced dead.
The news came just one day after Pac competed at AEW’s All Out event, which was held at the Now Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
The medical examiner’s findings provide an official determination regarding the circumstances of the former wrestling star’s death.
