Santana surfaced just after NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo successfully defended his title against Naraku in a hard-hitting street fight. The champion scored the victory by driving Naraku through a table with his Dead to Rights finisher before celebrating in the ring.
As D’Angelo stood on the ropes acknowledging the crowd, the atmosphere inside the WWE Performance Center suddenly changed when Santana’s entrance music hit.
