One of the competitors in the Mae Young Classic may have broken her leg during the second set of tapings — but for those who don’t want to know any results, now’s your last chance to turn back.
NXT trainee Tegan Knox was said to have suffered a broken leg in the quarterfinals of the tournament during a dive to the outside that landed awkwardly. Her opponent Rhea Ripley eventually won by stoppage.
Then, after a few dark matches,Triple H announced the prognosis.
For those who don’t recall, Tegan missed last year’s tournament due to an ACL injury.
WWE.com published an article saying the condition of Tegan’s leg is unknown at this time, so maybe Triple H jumped the gun. It’s also possible they’re just waiting for a more thorough analysis.
Tegan Nox suffered an injury to her left leg during Thursday’s Mae Young Classic tapings. The injury occurred during a dive to the outside of the ring. She was transported to a local medical facility for further examination.
