Jey Uso was arrested over the weekend in Texas for allegedly driving while intoxicated.
The current SmackDown Live Tag Team Champion was released the same day on Sunday.
According to a rep for the arresting agency, Jey was pulled over around 1am for a traffic violation and the officer observed signs of intoxication. A field sobriety test was then administered on the wrestler and it was determined that he was showing signs of being under the influence.
Uso — real name Joshua Fatu — was then charged with DWI and taken into custody. Reportedly the records do not currently show if he ever took a breathalyzer test.
A rep for WWE told F4WOnline, “Joshua Fatu is responsible for his own personal actions. We are investigating the matter and awaiting information from local law enforcement officials.”
