An exciting match up in the Strawweight division has been made for the main event of UFC fight night 80 on December 10th
It’ll feature the #6 ranked Paige VanZant vs the #8 ranked Joanne Calderwood.
Both VanZant and Camderwood are huge upstarts in the Strawweight division and eventual title contenders.
VanZant who is (6-1) is coming off a 3rd round submission victory over Alex Chambers from UFC191. Calderwood who is (10-1) is also coming off a victory that she earned via unanimous decision when she defeated Cortney Casey back in July
The fight will take place live and exclusively on UFC Fight Pass

Interesting fight, Calderwood had a slow start to her last fight, but showed some amazing heart and fighting spirit.
I’ve been a fan of Bad Mofo jojo for a little over a year. I think if she really focuses she can beat PVZ forsure. It’ll be a good one though
