At the top of the show was an in memoriam for Angelo Savoldi (1914-2013).
The 10 Superstars that came down & helped Daniel Bryan form being pummeled last week by Randy Orton & The Shield was standing on the Stage.
Triple H & Stephanie McMahon came to the ring. They talked about what happened last week. They thanked these 10 men for stepping up. Triple H said he knows it had nothing to do with Daniel Bryan. Rob Van Dam they were fighting for Bryan & for what was right. Triple H was surprised they would fight for Bryan & not for themselves. Triple H & Stephanie questioned why they would do that. They talked about The Shield & said these 10 men must have been frustrated with The Shield. Triple H said he is going to give them a chance to take out their frustration by competing in a handicap elimination match against The Shield. Triple H said he will give them Bryan as their partner. It will be the first ever 11 on 3 Handicap Elimination Match. Stephanie announced that one of them will face Orton & that the fans will decide who by voting via the WWE App. Triple H & Stephanie said what’s best for the fans is what’s best for business.
Fans could vote for Randy Orton’s opponent via the WWE App, the choses were RVD, Dolph Ziggler or R-Truth.
Kofi Kingston VS Alberto Del Rio: Del Rio won by submission.
Renee Young was backstage with The Miz. She showed footage of what Randy Orton did to him last week. Triple H appeared & said he won’t allow Miz anywhere near Orton tonight. Triple H said The Miz will host Miz TV & his guest will be Big Show.
Luke Harper & Erick Rowan(The Wyatt Family) VS Prime Time Players: Harper & Rowan got the win. After the match Bray Wyatt came in the ring & attacked the Prime Time Players.
Miz TV: Miz said he is banged up & p*ssed off about Randy Orton humiliating him last week in front of his family & friends. Miz said it’s not over by a long shot & that payback will be awesome. Miz brought out his guest Big Show. Miz asked Big Show how he could knock out Dusty Rhodes like that last week. Miz told Big Show that Triple H & Stephanie are trying to break him. Miz said it’s time for Big Show to step up. Miz insulted Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie came down to the ring & exchanged some words with The Miz. Stephanie called Miz a utility player. Stephanie said Miz failed his family, friends & himself last week & that he couldn’t measure up. Stephanie ordered Big Show to knock out The Miz. Big Show knocked him out without hesitation.
Randy Orton VS Rob Van Dam: RVD was chosen as Orton’s opponent via the WWE App. Match ended with a double count. After the match Orton continued his assault on RVD. Orton annihilated RVD.
Promo for Los Matadores: They are coming next Monday.
Footage was showed of what happened during the break. Del Rio attacked RVD in the ring.
Bella Twins backstage, Randy Orton came up & asked if they have seen what he did out there. Brie said she was busy not caring. Orton said what he did out there was only a fraction of what he is going to do to Brie’s boyfriend Daniel Bryan. Orton said he is available if she is looking to upgrade to a real man. Brie said she has a real man & Champion in Bryan. Orton said he is a real man, Champion & face of the WWE, something Brie’s goat face boyfriend will never be.
Backstage Stephanie talked to AJ Lee. AJ complained about being in the Divas tag team match for tonight. AJ said her tag partners hate her & that this in now way to treat the Divas Champion. Stephanie told AJ she will compete in the match or maybe she wont be Champion much longer.
Fandango VS Santino Marella: Fandango got the win.
CM Punk came to the ring to a huge ovation in his hometown of Chicago. Punk said he feels that he let everyone down by losing to Paul Heyman at Night of Champions. Punk talked about the Chicago Blackhawks winning the Stanley Cup. Punk said he wants to fight. Heyman interrupted & rolled out to the stage in a wheelchair. Heyman said he has been in physical therapy since Night of Champions. Heyman insulted the city of Chicago. Heyman showed a photo on the big screen of him pinning Punk at Night of Champions. Punk asked Heyman if he thinks his 2 goons can get to him before he gets Heyman. Punk said he is going to rip Heyman’s face off. Heyman went to leave but his electric wheelchair wouldn’t move. Punk ran toward Heyman but was stopped by Ryback & Curtis Axel. Punk fought with Ryback & Axel. Ryback tossed Punk through a table. Ryback said this is what happens to bullies.
Bella Twins, Natalya & The Funkadactyls VS AJ Lee, Alicia Fox, Tamina Snuka, Aksana & Layla: Bella Twins, Natalya & The Funkadactyls got the win.
Backstage, The Shield talked about the 11 on 3 handicap match. They said they are winners & tonight they are going to do their job.
Daniel Bryan came to the ring. Bryan talked about being stripped of the WWE Championship for conspiring with referee Scott Armstrong. Bryan said it seems strange that Triple H gave Armstrong a lot of money after firing him. Bryan said in 2 weeks at Battleground he will take back the WWE Championship. Bryan said Orton is going to hear one word over & over & it will haunt him & that word is Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!
The Shield made their way down to the ring. Goldust & Cody Rhodes attacked The Shield as they made their way to the ring. Security pulled Goldust & Cody off of them & escorted them away.
11 ON 3 Handicap Elimination Match: The Shield VS Daniel Bryan, RVD, Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston, Darren Young, Titus O’Neil, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, R-Truth, Zack Ryder & Justin Gabriel: RVD was eliminated. Kofi was eliminated. O’Neil was eliminated. Gabriel was eliminated. Ryder was eliminated. Roman Reigns was eliminated. Young was eliminated. Dean Ambrose was eliminated. R-Truth was eliminated. Bryan pinned Seth Rollins for the win.
