Chris Sabin Becomes New TNA Champion At Destination X

For the first time Impact Wrestling presented it’s annual “Destination X” event for free on spike tv in place of it’s normal Thursday night impact broadcast.

The match of the night and most anticipated was Chris Sabin vs Bully Ray for the TNA world heavyweight championship. Sabin who until recently was sidelined due to real back to back injuries to his leg was the fan favorite going into the match.

TNA creative who often gets heat for putting older more established talents above fresh up and coming stars shocked fans by giving the win to Sabin in what appears to be the next chapter in a new push.

Fans made it clear to us on our twitter prior to the main event that they were doubtful Sabin would get the win
