Television Championship Match: Kurt Angle vs Television Champ Devon: Devon came to the ring with 4 other members of Aces & Eights. Angle said that he has back up of his own & brought out Samoa Joe, Garett Bischoff & Wes Briscoe. All the guys outside of the ring started brawling. The referee sent all of them to the back. Angle was about to make Devon tap when Aces & Eights came back out & Distracted the referee. Samoa Joe, Bischoff & Briscoe also came back out. While the referee was distracted a masked member of Aces & Eights entered the ring & hit Angle from behind with a lead pipe. Devon then made the pin cover & got the win to retain the Television Championship.
Deliberations for the Knockout Championship in Brooke Hogan’s office with ODB, Velvet Sky, Mickie James & Miss Tessmacher. ODB was eliminated first.
Backstage Kenny King was talking about beating RVD last week & about tagging with him tonight.
Joey Ryan & Matt Morgan vs Kenny King & RVD: late in the match Morgan was ready to deliver a big boot so Kenny King decided to leave the ring. RVD was left on his own & was hit with Morgan’s big boot. Ryan & Morgan got the win. King from the stage asked RVD how’s his face.
1-3-13 promo was shown. The time for forgiveness is over… There is no appeasement. They will be judged. The answer is close. 1-3-13
Hulk Hogan came to the ring. Hogan said it’s been one great year for Impact Wrestling. He said there is so much talent it’s hard to decide who is the greatest of the greats, that’s why the fans will be given a chance to vote for the TNA Impact Wrestling wrestler of the year. The fans can vote at www.impactwrestling.com & voting will be open until end of the year. The winner will be announced at a special episode of Impact Wrestling on 1-3-13. Devon & Aces & Eights interrupted & came out to ringside. Devon said that 2012 was the year Aces & Eights were born & the year in which they beat up all the so called wrestlers in the back. Devon said that 2013 will be the year Aces & Eights will be revealed & gold be accomplished but Hogan wont be around to see it. Aces & Eights surrounded the ring & was about to attack Hogan when Bully Ray ran into the ring & chased them away. Hogan walked away without thanking Bully for saving him.
Backstage Jeff Hardy said that Austin Aries proved himself & he had a new found respect for Aries but now he knows his true colors because Aries payed somebody off to try & hurt him to get close to the World Title again. Hardy said that he isn’t hard to find & that he has beaten Aries twice & he will beat him 3 times.
More Knockout Championship deliberations. Miss Tessmacher was eliminated next. Brooke now had to decide between Velvet & Mickie.
Kazarian came to the ring with gift. He put the gifts under & Christmas tree that was in the ring. A big chair was also in the ring. Kazarian introduced Daniels to the ring. Kazarian said that he had arranged a special visitor for Daniels & he brought out Santa Claus. Santa sat in the chair.Daniels & Kazarian gave a gift to Santa. The gift was a pair of zebra Zuma pants. Daniels sat on Santa’s lap & Kazarain took a picture. Santa asked Daniels if he had been good. Daniels said that he got rid of the biggest loser in history AJ Styles. Santa said that he will grant Daniels a wish. Daniels said to give anything to AJ’s kids because AJ is such a big loser he wont be able to get them anything. James Storm came out to the ring. Storm said that they aren’t going to make a mockery out of Christmas. Daniels told Santa that Storm should be put on the naughty list. Storm didn’t believe that that was the real Santa & wanted to know who he was. Storm asked Santa some questions including what did he ask Santa for last year. Santa said a Travis Tritt cd. Storm said that was very close but he asked for a case of beer then Storm delivered a Last Call super kick to Santa.
Backstage Austin Aries said that Hardy made the biggest mistake of his career when he challenged him for a Title match. Aries said that tonight that he will win & again be TNA World Champion & prove that he is the greatest wrestler in the universe.
1-3-13 promo. Vengeance will have a name. He will descend upon them like a plague & they will fear him. Sting is revealed to be behind the 1-3-13 promo’s. Sting said surprise & that he wants his bat back from Devon & he is coming to get it. Sting said ” Aces & Eights I’m coming to get you”. A reckoning is at hand. Sting said he is coming for D.O.C. first. Sting said 1-3 will be his day & he is putting an end to Aces & Eight once & for all. Sting then said “here comes the Stinger & it will be showtime”.
Aces & Eight in their clubhouse said “Sting is coming back”. VP wanted to know what happened at there with Hogan when they had him surrounded & wasn’t able to take him out. They said they need more muscle. Devon said that he knows somebody to reach out to that he might be able to convince to do this for them. They took a vote on if they should let Devon reach out to this person for a sit down next week. They voted yes.
Brooke chose Mickie for the Knockout Championship match.
Knockout Championship Match. Mickie James vs Knockout Champ Tara with Jesse at ringside: Jesse kept interfering in the match. Tara got the win to retain her Knockout championship.
A video was shown of Joseph Park training at OVW. It appeared that he wasn’t doing very will.
TNA World Championship Match: Austin Aries vs TNA World Champ Jeff Hardy: At one point during the match the referee got knocked out. Aries gave a low blow to Hardy & hit him with a Brainbuster. Aries called for a referee from the back. Aries made the pin cover on Hardy. Bobby Roode ran to the ring pretending to be a referee & counted to two then stopped the count. Aries then realized it was Roode. Roode delivered a spinebuster on Aries. Hardy got the win to retain the TNA World Championship.
Hogan heading to his car in the parking lot was asked for comments on the World title picture. Hogan said the World title is nothing but chaos right now & the first thing on his agenda is to get it straightened out for 2013. Hogan was asked if the Brooke & Bully Ray situation is distracting him from the Aces & Eight situation. Hogan said not to worry about the Brooke & Bully crap. Hogan then noticed Brooke & Bully in the parking lot kissing. Hogan got in his car & drove away.
